This study proposes the following directions on the basis of results gained from a survey in Yamanasihyun Kawaguchikocho, where the herb festival is successfully held, in order to activate the local economy by herb. 1) The herb education for person in charge in the local authorities, the promoter of herb festival, has to be preceded and the local residents should try to understand what the herb is. 2) For a successful herb festival in the aspect of local economy and environmental conservation, detailed basic study and publicity including human -, natural environment, ecological conditions for herb should be peformed. 3) Herb event should have various programs and formats to arouse the user's interest and should be a place for environmental education.

Most of the research on a group decision support system [GDSS] has focused on directly examining its effect on the decision outcomes. Under this research framework, however, the role of group interaction process is largely ignored. This study focuses on the effect of the group interaction process on decision-making performance when a GDSS is used as the only medium for group interaction. Specifically, this study sought to determine whether significant relationships exist between the quality of the decision and the decision functions, contingent phases, and different decision paths. Natural interaction processes of decision -making groups was simulated in an experimental setting in which volunteer subjects from several business classes were assigned to dispersed three-person groups undertook the experimental task via a decision network. A baseline GDSS was developed for this setting. The results of this study confirmed earlier studies in a non - GDSS setting to suggest significant effects of decision functions and contingent phases on the quality of decision but no significant relationship between decision path and the quality of group decision.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the signification system between logo and brand concept systematically in sportswear brands. For this purpose, 37 apparel brands focused on sportswear brand were selected and the results of the study were following : First, the sportswear brands that symbolize a specific sports used a related supplies such as a golf ball or tennis ball, etc to express sports or concept that pursuit each brand. Second, the sportswear brands used the brand logo that represent or symbolize a specific animal, plant and natural world to express a strong spirit of sports and active energy. Third, the sportswear brands used the word mark or symbol that design a brand name in dynamic or speedy typeface to represent a speed and progressive spirit of sports. Fourth, the sportswear brands used the symbols that represent a concrete object, person such as a mast, shield, etc to emphasize the brand concept. Fifth, the sportswear brands used the symbols of a graphic or geometric style to represent the special quality of brand in type.

This study investigated relationships between engagement in joint attention and the early language development in infancy. Subjects were 12 infants and their mothers. At 20 and 25 months of age, each child's spontaneous natural speech during interaction with his/her caregiver was videotaped for about 30 minutes. The EJA(Episodes of joint attention) focus between mother and child were identified and coded by Tomasello and Todd's(1983) and Bakeman and Adamson's(1984) including person engagement, object engagement, looking engagement, passive joint attention, coordinated joint attention. Results showed that a significant difference in infant's language development between within and outside EJA at 20 and 25 months of age; that is, during periods of EJA children talked more inside than outside EJA.

Named entities (NEs) are important in many Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, and discovering NE-related relations in texts may be beneficial for these applications. This paper proposes a method to extract the ISA relation between a "named entity" and its category, and an IS-RELATED-TO relation between the category and its related object. Based on the pattern extraction algorithm "Person Category Extraction" (PCE), we extend it for solving our problem. Our experiments on Wall Street Journal (WSJ) corpus show promising results. We also demonstrate a possible application of these relations by utilizing them for semantic search.

Human cytochrome P450 4F2 shows high regioselectivity in hydroxylation of stearic acid and leukotriene $ B_4.$ As a first step of its regulation study, human cytochrome P450 4F2 genomic DNA was isolated from liver of a person who was administered clofibrate for 10 years. From Southern hybridization, restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing experiments, isolated genomic DNA fragment was found to contain around 32 Kb DNA and more than 20 Kb of $5^I$ end regulatory region. Sequences of the structural gene region revealed exon 1 and exon 2. Further regulation studies would elucidate the feedback mechanisms of the oxidative degradation of fatty acids, inflammatory response and the clearance of leukotriene B4 in the liver. Furthermore, regulation study of this gene could explain the species difference in responses to peroxisome proliferator and help in the safety evaluation of peroxisome proliferating chemicals to human being.

E.U(Europe Union) and I.S.O(International Standard Organization) have promoted environmental problems from an individual enterprise level to international level. E.U have practiced E.M.A.S(Environment Management Audit Scheme), they have explained environmental information to local residents by an environmental statement and they have introduced verification system by identification person. One year later, I.S.O have published ISO 14000 series by environmental audit in 1996. Modem enterprise must go well with profitability and sociality. Environmental accounting was appeared in order to agree with profitability and sociality. Environmental accounting is to solve environmental problems, to protect natural resources, to measure effect of environment, and to transmit information of environment. Accountability's theory must be based social fairness and systemic legality. We need the accountability in order to system of Environmental accounting. But the conception of environmental accounting and accountability are not defined in our country. Therefore the purpose of this study is to established the relation of environmental accounting and accountability.

The gamma-ray dose rates in air at 233 locations in Korea have been determined. The contribution to the gamma-ray dose rates in air due to the presence of $^{232}Th-series,\;^{238}U-series\;and\;^{40}K$ is as follows: 47.3% $(36\;nGyh^{-1})\;^{232}Th-series$ 14.5% $(11\;nGyh^{-1})\;^{238}U-series$ and 38.2% $(29\;nGyh^{-1})\;^{40}K$. The mean gamma-ray dose rate theoretically derived from $^{232}Th-series,\;^{238}U-series\;and\;^{40}K\;was\;76{\pm}17\;nGyh^{-1}$. This corresponds to an annual effective dose of $410\;{\mu}Sv$ and an annual collective dose of 18900 person-Sv for all provinces under study. The results have been compared with other global radiation dose.

자연재해 및 산업재해에서 무인 탐사로봇을 사용하여 해당 재해 구역을 조사함으로서 2차 인명피해를 예방하고 구역의 자세한 정보를 습득한다. 이를 통해 재해 조치를 취할 수 있게 되며, 재해 구역뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서 응용할 수 있도록 한다. 라즈베리파이의 확장성과 비용절감을 통해 누구에게나 보급될 수 있는 탐사로봇을 개발하는 것이 목표이다.

Immdeiate hypersensitivity reactions to natural rubber and latex products pose a significant threat to patients, healthcare workers, and the general population. The purpose of this study is to summarize the clinical syomptoms of latex rubber allergy and provide guidelines for the management of latex allergy. Contact dermatitis from the nearly constant use of latex gloves during the workday has become a real problem for many health care professionals. Moreover, the patient who come in contact with these gloves or with other latex-containing equipment may show reactons. Far worse than skin problems is life-threatening anaphyaxis, which can be the first indication that a person has latex sensitivity. In conclusion, nurses shold know the latex precautions such as risk factors, adverse reactons to latex, emergent treatment and so on.
