Impedance Analysis of Resistance Anomaly of $BaTiO_3$ based PTC thermistor

  • The effect of Re-oxidation on the PTCR properties of Sm-doped barium titanate ceramics was investigated by means of impedance spectroscopy. Electrical properties such as resistance vs. temperature, I-V curve were measured and microstructure was observed with SEM photography. Sample was fabricated with thick film process such as tape casting of green sheet, screen printing of electrode pattern, stacking, firing in reduced atmosphere and re-oxidation, etc. As the temperature of re-oxidation increases, resistance jump as a function of temperature enhances but resistance at room temperature increases. These behavior of resistance as a function of temperature, dependent on the re-oxidation condition, is analyzed with Cole-Cole impedance plot and is shown to be related with the degree of oxidation of grain boundary regardless of grain core during re-oxidation process of sample.

Critical Factors for Container Terminal Productivity

  • The awareness of the high-value industry for container terminal leads competitiveness of container terminals to keep high fiercely. In regards to competitive factors of container terminal, the most important point among several factors is seemed to be the speed of container loading and unloading on quayside. In container terminals in Korea, the productivity shows big difference even though its condition is similar to each terminal. The objective of this paper is to find the critical factors of container terminal productivity, which is dependant upon the capability, quantity of quay crane, transfer vehicle, and so on. For this purpose, we have researched related literatures, and collected data about container terminals in South Korea. Furthermore, we tested sensitive analysis to evaluate the extent of productivity by changing independent variable. And then we established the regression model to evaluate which factor has had the biggest impact on productivity. The results of this paper can give terminal operators guideline to improve productivity.

  • Silver nanoparticles were synthesized by polyol process and its particle size observed with TEM is about 20nm. Silver nanoparticle ink with metal content of 30wt% was prepared using solvent of ethanol and has low viscosity of 5cps (10rpm). This ink was printed by as ink-jet printer on Al2O3 and Silicone substrate. The resistivity and morphology of the printed film was investigated as a function of sintering termperature.

  • 고저항지락사고시 선로의 지락후비보효용인 지락거리계전기 및 변압기 후비보호용 방향지락과 전류계전기의 비협조 문제로 인하여 광범위한 정전이 유발될수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 대책으로 고저항지락보호용 과전류계전기의 도입과 적용방안에 대하여 제안한다.

  • 인터넷 서비스의 발전에 따라 보안성이 높고 경제적인 VPN 의 필요성이 대두되었다. 여러 방식의 VPN 구성 방법 중 향후 멀티미디어 실시간 서비스 등에 필요한 QoS 및 트래픽 엔지니어링에 장점을 갖는 MPLS 기반의 VPN기술이 활발히 논의되고 있으며 현재 BGP/MPLS VPN 이 표준으로 정립되고 있다. 본 연구팀은 현재 활성화되고 있는 Mobile computing 기술과 이러한 VPN기술을 접목시켜 MPLS VPN 망에서의 이동성을 지원을 위한 방안을 제시 및 구현한 바 있으며 본 연구에서 기 제안한 방식에서 추가적으로 고려해줘야 할 문제점 및 해결방안에 대해 연구하였다.

  • The etching characteristics of Zirconium Oxide ($ZrO_2$) and etch selectivity of $ZrO_2$ to Si in HBr/$SF_6$ plasma were investigated. It was found that $ZrO_2$ etch rate shows a non-monotonic behavior with increasing both HBr fraction in $SF_6$ plasma, Source power, Bias Power, gas pressure. The maximum $ZrO_2$ etch rate of 54.8 nm/min was obtained for HBr(25%)/$SF_6$(75%) gas mixture. From these data, the suggestions on the $ZrO_2$ etch characteristics were made.
