입자수치모의를 통한 낙동강 하구 부유(해안)쓰레기 거동특성 (Characteristics of the Behavior of Floating Debris in the Nakdong River Estuary using a Simple Numerical Particle Model)

  • 본 연구는 낙동강 하구역에 유입되거나 발생된 부유(해안)쓰레기의 거동특성을 파악하기 위해 2003년 태풍 "매미" 내습시 하구둑 최대 방류량을 조건으로 해수유동장을 재현하고 재현된 유동장에 부유쓰레기로 대표되는 입자를 방출하여 입자들의 거동특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 그 결과에 따르면 낙동강 하구역내 존재하는 부유쓰레기는 홍수유량시 72시간 경과시에 낙동강 하구역내 입자분포 및 거동이 안정상태에 도달하였다. 공간상으로는 진우도를 포함한 가덕도 동측 해안의 경우 초기 33시간까지는 40%까지 증가하나 그 외 주변해역의 경우 $20{\sim}40$ % 범위를 유지하였다.

GIS 및 공간통계를 활용한 낙동강 유역 수생태계의 건강성 평가 (Health Assessment of the Nakdong River Basin Aquatic Ecosystems Utilizing GIS and Spatial Statistics)

  • 본 연구는 낙동강 유역의 수생태계 건강성 조사지점에서 생물 및 서식환경, 수질에 대한 건강성을 조사 및 평가한 결과자료를 이용하여 공간정보로 재구축하고 공간분석기법을 활용하여 낙동강 유역의 수생태계 보전 및 복원 정책의 합리적인 의사결정을 지원하고 효율적인 관리방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 낙동강 유역의 수생태계 건강성을 분석하기 위하여 250개 조사구간의 수생태계 건강성 조사 및 평가 결과자료를 각 지점별 위치정보를 기반으로 점형 자료로 구축하였다. 그리고 공간적인 분석기법의 적용을 위해 면형 자료로 재구축 할 필요성이 있으며, 이를 위해 Kriging 보간법(ArcGIS 10.1, Geostatistical Analysis)을 활용하여 공간적 영향력 및 트랜드를 분석하였고 면형 자료로 재구축 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 낙동강 유역 건강성의 공간분포 특성을 분석하기 위해 Hotspot(Getis-Ord Gi, $G^*_i$)과 LISA(Local Indicator of Spatial Association), 표준편차타원체(Standard deviational ellipse) 분석을 활용하였다. Hotspot 분석 결과 생물지수(TDI, BMI, FAI)의 Hotspot 유역은 안동댐 상류, 왕피천, 임하댐 유역으로 생물지수의 건강성 등급이 양호한 것으로 분석되었으며, Coldspot 유역은 낙동강 남해, 낙동강 하구, 수영강 등의 유역으로 나타났다. LISA 분석 결과 이례지역은 가화천, 합천댐 상류, 영강 상류 유역으로 분석되었으며 이 지역은 생물 건강성 지수가 높은 유역이지만 주변 유역의 건강성이 낮아 수생태계 건강성에 대한 관리가 필요한 유역으로 분석되었다. 이화학적 요인(BOD)의 Hotspot 유역은 낙동강하류 유역과 수영강, 회야강, 낙동강남해 유역으로 나타났으며, Coldspot 유역은 안동댐, 임하댐, 영강 등 낙동강 지류의 상류 유역으로 분석되었다. 서식 및 수변환경(HRI)요인의 Hotspot과 LISA 분석결과 요인별 Hotspot과 Coldspot이 다르게 분석되었으나 일반적으로 낙동강 상류, 안동댐, 임하댐, 합천댐 유역 등 낙동강 본류와 지류의 상류 유역 서식 및 수변환경 건강성이 좋은 것으로 분석되었다. 서식 및 수변환경 요인이 Coldspot으로 나타난 유역들은 생물지수와 이화학적 요인의 건강성 지수도 낮게 나타나 서식 및 수변환경의 관리가 필요한 유역으로 판단할 수 있다. 표준편차타원체로 분석한 시계열 분석결과 생물과 서식 및 수변환경에 의한 수생태계 건강성이 좋은 지역이 점점 북쪽으로 이동하는 경향을 나타내고 있으며 BOD 결과는 조사년도에 따라 방향과 집중도가 각각 다르게 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 수생태계 건강성 분석 결과는 조사지점별 건강성 관리정보뿐만 아니라 향후 공간정보 기술기반 수환경 연구와 실무연구진을 위한 집수구역 단위 수생태계를 관리할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

하천유역에서 기후변화에 따른 이상호우시의 최적 수문예측시스템 (The Optimal Hydrologic Forecasting System for Abnormal Storm due to Climate Change in the River Basin)

  • In this study, the new methodology such as support vector machines neural networks model (SVM-NNM) using the statistical learning theory is introduced to forecast flood stage in Nakdong river, Republic of Korea. The SVM-NNM in hydrologic time series forecasting is relatively new, and it is more problematic in comparison with classification. And, the multilayer perceptron neural networks model (MLP-NNM) is introduced as the reference neural networks model to compare the performance of SVM-NNM. And, for the performances of the neural networks models, they are composed of training, cross validation, and testing data, respectively. From this research, we evaluate the impact of the SVM-NNM and the MLP-NNM for the forecasting of the hydrologic time series in Nakdong river. Furthermore, we can suggest the new methodology to forecast the flood stage and construct the optimal forecasting system in Nakdong river, Republic of Korea.

Milojevic 경험식을 활용한 주요 국가하천 유역에서 방사형집수정의 강변여과수 취수가능량 평가 (Evaluation of pumping capacity of radial collector wells using Milojevic's equation in the National River Watershed, Korea)

  • The pumping capacity of riverbank filtration using radial collector wells at the Geum, Yeongsan, Seomjin, and Nakdong rivers was evaluated using Milojevic's equation. Assessment of the radial collector wells' pumping capacity in riverbank filtration was carried out using a case study in which one set of collector wells is installed in the watershed of each river. Nakdong River was evaluated to have the highest pumping capacity for riverbank filtration. The areas capable of producing over 10,000 $m^3$ per day were found mostly in the Nakdong River.

  • Nakdong river estuary is located at south-eastern coast if the Korea. Especially, Complicating topography change is generated by interaction of much sediment, wave and tide. This study is investigated into observation data of grading size distribution in the post and surface sediment characteristics is investigated into grading size analysis using sieve analysis in Nakong river estuary. As a result, mean diameter of surface sediment is distributed to front of shoal as a size with 0.1~0.2 mm and mean diameter of the last generated shoal is about 0.2~0.3 mm.

낙동강 주요지점에서 유량-수질의 관련특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Related Characteristics of Discharge-Water Quality in Nakdong River)

  • This study aims at the examination of the relative characteristics of discharge and water quality in river basins using statistical methods. For it, water quality and discharge data was collected in observed stations of Nakdong river and carried out correlation analysis, regression analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis. And it was investigated the applicability of water quality prediction using Nearest-neighbor method. As a result, it grasped a trenditional characteristics and mutual relations between discharge an water quality data. Therefore, this results were suggested the comprehensive data and methods for a management of water quality, effective operation and policy development in Nakdong river basin.

낙동강 하구수의 변이원성에 대한 연구 (Mutagenicity of River Water of Nakdong River Estuary in Korea)

  • The mutagenicity of the river water of Nakdong river estuary was determined by Ames test using the blue rayon suspension method. Samples were collected from 10 sites in the estuary once in each season of 1998. The samples collected from the sites where industrial waste discharge on May were mutagenic, but the other samples were not mutagenic. The sample collected from the site 1 located near the industrial area (Hadan-dong) were highly mutagenic in the TA98 with (+S9) and without (-S9) mix as well as in the TA100 with (+S9) and without (-S9) S9 mix, suggesting that the river water of this site is polluted by direct and indirect mutagens of frame-shift type as well as direct and indirect mutagens of base-replacement type. The positive mutagenicity, although relatively low, was also detected in TA98 with (+S9) and without (-S9) S9 mix in the extract of the site 4 near the industrial area(Jangrim-dong), suggesting that the primary mutation type is frame-shift. The negative mutagenicity from July to December at the sites (1-4) near the industrial area seems to be affected by the low economic growth rate in 1998 in Korea. On the other hand, the negative mutagenicity in all extracts collected from the sites 5-10 near the residential area where living sewage discharge, suggests that the river water was not polluted by mutagens.

유역특성인자를 이용한 설계홍수량 추정에 관한 연구 (Study of Design Flood Estimation by Watershed Characteristics)

  • Through this research of the analysis on the frequency flood discharges regarding basin property factors, a linear regression system was introduced, and as a result, the item with the highest correlation with the frequency flood discharges from Nakdong river basin is the basin area, and the second highest is the average width of basin and the river length. The following results were obtained after looking at the multi correlation between the flood discharge and the collected basin property factors using the data from the established river maintenance master plan of the one hundred twenty-five rivers in the Nakdong river basin. The result of analysis on multivariate correlation between the flood discharges and the most basic data in determining the flood discharges as basin area, river length, basin slope, river slope, average width of basin, shape factor and probability precipitation showed more than 0.9 of correlation in terms of the multi correlation coefficient and more than 0.85 for the determination coefficient. The model which induced a regression system through multi correlation analysis using basin property factors is concluded to be a good reference in estimating the design flood discharge of unmeasured basin.

낙동강 하천 토지이용 변화에 따른 미세규모 기상 요소의 변동에 관한 수치 연구 (Numerical Study on the Changes in Microscopic Meteorological Elements due to Land Use Variations in the Nakdong River Basin)

  • A numerical assessment using mesoscale-CFD (computational fluid dynamics) coupled A2C (atmosphere to CFD) model was carried out to analyze the variation of microscopic air flow pattern due to the construction of the Chilgok barrage in the Nakdong River. Scenarios with air flow patterns were classified into pre- and post-construction. The increased width of the river due to the construction of the Chilgok barrage induced obvious changes in moisture and the thermal environment around the river. However, air temperature variation was restricted within an area along the windward side in the numerical assessment. The impact of barrage construction on air temperature tends to be stronger during the nighttime than the daytime. It also stronger during the winter than the summer. In the simulation, the convergence of mesoscale wind is more pronounced after barrage construction than before. This is caused by the change of heat flux pattern induced by the widening of the river. Although this work is a case study with restricted atmospheric stability conditions that has several limitations in the numerical simulations, the impacts of the land-use changes brought about by the construction of the barrage in the river acceptable.
