  • The Windows Event Log is a Log that defines the overall behavior of the system, and these files contain data that can detect various user behaviors and signs of anomalies. However, since the Event Log is generated for each action, it takes a considerable amount of time to analyze the log. Therefore, in this study, we designed and implemented an XML-based Event Log analysis tool based on the main Event Log list of "Spotting the Adversary with Windows Event Log Monitoring" presented at the NSA.

  • Background: Deficiency in scapular muscle endurance (SME) is a risk factor for rotator-cuff-related shoulder pain (RCRSP). However, the exact relationship among SME, pain, and functionality remains unclear. This study aims to compare SME, pain, and functionality in RCRSP patients to those in age-sex-matched healthy controls. Methods: Twenty-three patients with RCRSP and 23 age-sex matched healthy controls were included in the study. SME was measured using a 1-kg dynamometer. Self-reported pain level was assessed using a visual analog scale. The Functional Impairment Test-Hand, Neck, Shoulder, and Arm (FIT-HaNSA) was also used to assess functional impairment. Results: The control group had higher SME and total FIT-HaNSA scores than the patient group (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant and positive correlation between SME and FIT-HaNSA scores in both groups (P<0.05). Conclusions: SME was affected by RCRSP. Pain and functional impairment were correlated with low SME.

  • Highly conducting Polypyrroles soluble in organic solvents were synthesized using functional doping agents, such as mixed dopants [sodium di(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate (DEHSNa) Naphthalenesulfonic acid (NSA), DEHSNa Toluenesulfonic acid (TSA), DEHSNa Dodecylbenzensulfonic acid (DBSA)] and mixed oxidants [$(NH_4)_2S_2O_8{\cdot}FeCl_3$, $(NH_4)_2S_2O_8{\cdot}Fe_2(SO_4)_3$]. Ppy-DEHS powder using an oxidant, such as $(NH_4)_2S_2O_8$ (10 wt%/vol.) showed higher solubility than the mixed dopant (DEHSNa NSA, 3 wt%/vol.) and mixed oxidant [$(NH_4)_2S_2O_8{\cdot}Fe_2(SO_4)_3$, 4 wt%/vol.] in DMF solvent. But Ppy-DEHS free standing film using a mixed dopant, such as DEHSNa NSA (16 S/cm) and a mixed oxidant, such as $(NH_4)_2S_2O_8{\cdot}Fe_2(SO_4)_3$ (13 S/cm) cast from DMF solvent showed higher electrical conductivity than $(NH_4)_2S_2O_8$ (2 S/cm). For the Ppy-DEHS films using various condition cast from DMF solvent, three dimensional various range hopping model (3D VRH ; $\{{\sigma}_{dc}(T)={\sigma}_oexp[-(T_o/T)^{1/4}]\}$) provided fit to the results of temperature dependence of electrical conductivity measurement.

  • Antioxidant compounds and activities of raw and cooked (blanching, pan-frying, soy sauce pickle, Kochugang pickle) domestic garlic stems were investigated. The contents of chlorophyll, carotenoid, vitamin C, phenolic compounds and allicin in raw and cooked garlic stems were measured. Various cooking process increased significantly chlorophyll and $\beta$-carotene contents of garlic stem, but decreased vitamin C, phenolic compounds and allicin contents (p<0.05). Antioxidant activities of methanol extracts from raw and cooked garlic stem such as electronic donating ability (EDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity and nitrite scavenging ability (NSA) were compared. The antioxidant activities were found to have lowered in the order of raw> pan-frying> blanching> garlic stem soy sauce pickle> garlic stem Kochujang pickle. Antioxidant activities of cooked garlic stems were more than 65% of cooked garlic bulbs.

  • The concept of SDN (Software Defined Networking) endows the network with programmability and significantly improves the flexibility and extensibility of networks. Currently a plenty of research works on introducing SDN into wireless networks. Most of them focus on the innovation of the SDN based architectures but few consider how to realize the global perception of the network through the controller. In order to address this problem, a software defined carrier grade Wi-Fi framework called SWAN, is proposed firstly. Then based on the proposed SWAN architecture, a blueprint of introducing the traditional NSA (Network Situation Awareness) into SWAN is proposed and described in detail. Through perceiving various network data by a decentralized architecture and making comprehension and prediction on the perceived data, the proposed blueprint endows the controllers with the capability to aware of the current network situation and predict the near future situation. Meanwhile, the extensibility of the proposed blueprint makes it a universal solution for software defined wireless networks SDWNs rather than just for one case. Then we further research one typical use case of proposed NSA blueprint: network performance awareness (NPA). The subsequent comparison with other methods and result analysis not only well prove the effectiveness of proposed NPA but further provide a strong proof of the feasibility of proposed NSA blueprint.

  • The existing self-supervised learning-based CutPaste generated synthetic data by cutting and attaching specific patches from normal images and then performed anomaly detection. However, this method has a problem in that there is a clear difference in the boundary of the patch. NSA for solving these problems have achieved higher anomaly detection performance by generating natural synthetic data through Poisson Blending. However, NSA has the disadvantage of having many hyperparameters that need to be adjusted for each class. In this paper, synthetic data similar to normal were generated by a simple method of making the size of the synthetic patch very small. At this time, since the patches are so locally synthesized, models that learn local features can easily overfit synthetic data. Therefore, we performed anomaly detection using gMLP, which learns global features, and even with simple synthesis methods, we were able to achieve higher performance than conventional self-supervised learning techniques.

  • Coefficients of the adaptive filter are misadjusted by primary signals which are uncorrelated with reference signals of the adaptive filter. In this paper, the normalized sign algorithm is analyzed and compared with the NLMS algorithm by the steady state performance and the transient characteristics when target signals are included in primary signals. The excess mean square error of the NLMS algorithm is proportional to the power of target signals. That of normalized sign algorithm is proportional to the square root of the target signal power. However, the convergence speed of the normalized sign algorithm is slower than that of NLMS algorithm. In this paper, it is shown that theoretical analysis of the steady state performance and the transient characteristics are well consisted with the results of computer simulation.

  • In this article, we model the distributed relay assignment network as a many-to-one matching market with peer effects. We discuss two scenarios for throughput optimization of relay networks: the scenario of aggregate throughput optimization and the scenario of fairness performance optimization. For the first scenario, we propose a Mutual Benefit-based Deferred Acceptance (MBDA) algorithm to increase the aggregate network throughput. For the second scenario, instead of using the alternative matching scheme, a non-substitution matching algorithm (NSA) is designed to solve the fairness problem. The NSA improves the fairness performance. We prove that both two algorithms converge to a globally stable matching, and discuss the practical implementation. Simulation results show that the performance of MBDA algorithm outperforms existing schemes and is almost the same with the optimal solution in terms of aggregate throughput. Meanwhile, the proposed NSA improves fairness as the scale of the relay network expands.

  • The residual displacement ratio (RDRs) response spectra have been generally used as an important means to evaluate the post-earthquake repairability, and the ratios of residual to maximum inelastic displacement are considered to be more appropriate for development of the spectra. This methodology, however, assumes that the expected residual displacement can be computed as the product of the RDRs and maximum inelastic displacement, without considering the correlation between these two variables, which inevitably introduces potential systematic error. For providing an adequately accurate estimate of residual displacement, while accounting for the collapse resistance performance prior to the repairability evaluation, a probability-based procedure to estimate the residual displacement demands using the nonlinear static analysis (NSA) is developed for single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) systems. To this end, the energy-based equivalent damping ratio used for NSA is revised to obtain the maximum displacement coincident with the nonlinear time history analysis (NTHA) results in the mean sense. Then, the possible systematic error resulted from RDRs spectra methodology is examined based on the NTHA results of SDOF systems. Finally, the statistical relation between the residual displacement and the NSA-based maximum displacement is established. The results indicate that the energy-based equivalent damping ratio will underestimate the damping for short period ranges, and overestimate the damping for longer period ranges. The RDRs spectra methodology generally leads to the results being non-conservative, depending on post-yield stiffness. The proposed approach emphasizes that the repairability evaluation should be based on the premise of no collapse, which matches with the current performance-based seismic assessment procedure.

  • Mugwort and pine needle were extracted with water and 70% ethanol. Electron donating ability(EDA) of extracts were ranged from 50% to 57% in mugwort water extract(MGW) and ranged from 51% to 64% in mugwort ethanol extract(MGE) at 300-1,000ppm. EDA of extracts were ranged from 52% to 60% in pine needle water extract(PNW) and ranged from 68% 71% in pine needle ethanol extract(PNE) at 100-500ppm. EDA of PNW was 70% and that of PNE was 77% at 1,00(ppm. Nitrite scavenging ability(NSA) of extracts measured at various pH(1.2, 3.0, 4.2, 6.0) was the highest in all extracts at pH 1.2 and decreased with increasing pH, suggesting it is pH dependent. NSA of mugwort extracts at 1,000ppm, water extract was 37% and ethanol extract was 27% at pH 1.2. NSA of pine needle extracts at 1,000ppm, water extract was 65%and ethanol extract was 53% at pH 1.2. EDA and NSA of pine needle extracts were higher than mugwort in both of water and ethanol extract. EDA of ethanol extracts were higher than water extracts while NSA of water extracts were higher than ethanol extracts in both of mugwort and pine needle.
