The purpose of this study was to examine how the purchasers perceive the effects of the unit characteristics within the complex on the apartment prices. Six major characteristics of the apartments : orientations and floors; views; structures; conditions and maintenances of interior materials; interior alterations; and access to the outdoor facilities were included for the analysis. The data were gathered from 284 households in seven private apartment complexes in Ulsan. It was found that the price of the apartment was higher if it was southward, on the royal or semi-royal floors, with the nice view for the riverside or any other landscape resources, or openness. Other characteristics which increase the price were the hall type not the corridor one, inner side of the building, good conditions of interior materials, and extended balcony.

In this paper it is proposed an advanced modified sliding mode control of a rotor field oriented control of induction motor. The application of this unconventional control has very good results, such as disturbance rejection and nice dynamic properties. Stability can be guaranteed even in the worst situation. A conventional "sliding mode" controller is characterised by fast switching control signal, which causes the chattering of the drive system. To overcome this problem, a modified law is used, by introducing a hysteresis band and a continuous control, which modifies the conventional law. The control is accomplished with dual TMS320C44 floating-point digital signal processor. The validity of the proposed method was verified by experiment on the propulsion system simulator, used for the development of Korean High-Speed Railway Train(KHSRT).in(KHSRT).

In DNA microarray studies, the number of genes far exceeds the number of samples and the gene expression measures are highly correlated. Partial least squares regression (PLSR) is one of the popular methods for dimensional reduction and known to be useful for the classifications of microarray data by several studies. In this study, we suggest a modified version of the partial least squares regression to analyze gene expression data with survival information. The method is designed as a new gene selection method using PLSR with an iterative procedure of imputing censored survival time. Mean square error of prediction criterion is used to determine the dimension of the model. To visualize the data, plot for variables superimposed with samples are used. The method is applied to two microarray data sets, both containing survival time. The results show that the proposed method works well for interpreting gene expression microarray data.

Free from curves and surfaces are frequently used in designing engineering products such as car, ship, airplane, and hosing of electronic households. In many aspect, it is very nice to use the cutter radius compensation function of CNC controller when contour machining a 2-dimensional curve. However, if the 2D curve is a parametric spline, it is not easy to apply the cutter radius compensation function of CNC controller to the NC data obtained from many commercial CAM system. This is mainly due to the error magnification effect when offsetting line segments with inevitable round-off error at their vertices. Proposed in this paper is an approach to contour machining a 2D parametric spline while using cutter radius compensation. Some implementation results are included.

The Geumsan is contiguous to Daejeon and population is decreasing every year. Consequently, the population influx, and securing source of revenue dimensional geographic and environmental benefits of the establishment of a pensions plan for the rural life style pensions research. The result is that Geumsan has a convenient traffic circumstance geographically and is a clean area as the high-level area of solid water system. Also, Geumsan forms the mountainous area whose sea-level elevation reaches to 2.5 times of the Chungcheongnam-do. Consequently, Geumsan has a suitable environment for locating many kinds of pensions like the riverside village style, the mountain village style and the villa style, the country style, the cafe style, experience style, theme style etc. So, Geumsan is found to be a suitable area to host 'rural life style' pensions, because it has wide area, small population and nice environmental conditions.

In order to enhance multi-channel audio signals, Dolby Pro Logic is widely used especially for the Hi-Fi audio system, since it can provide highly stereophonic effects and a nice separation of multi-channel sound. This paper describes an implementation of Dolby Pro Logic decoder with ARM-7 core. The code is modified for the fixed point operation and optimized. For the verification of the code, the operation time and the precision are estimated thoroughly. As a result, it is verified that Dolby Pro Logic decoder can be implemented with ARM-7 core operating at 54 MHz.

I am sure this report will become good references for the development of various problems such as item plan ad activity, promotion of sale, etc, applying GMPs so that the harmony according to reasonable ideas of both maker and designer and it may become on intensive study for the plans of export goods.

This was a systemized bed consisted of storage units, a desk, a drawer, a sofa and a shelf. This bed system was not designed only for a certain age group of children but also for various age groups of children, since each parts of the bed can be sued separately. Separation of parts of the bed allowed children to decorate their own living space and gives them a chance to express their own feeling and thoughts by layout of parts. Design adopts the beauty of nature such as smoothly curve lines which are perfectly fit for the children's living space. The moving sofa located under the bed and the book shelf lead children to establish a pattern of reading habit. The draw and storage units offer nice space for keeping children's goods.

This paper compares seat vibrations of a small passenger car and a SUV. The results also include the comparison of the human body accelerations and the ride values, such as the component ride values, and SEAT values of 12 axis accelerations obtained at the human body and seat track. The ride comfort evaluation is usually carried out by experiments of real cars which are expensive and sometimes may contain errors by passenger's postures. Simulations by computer, on the other hand, enable to solve these problems when the accuracy is proven. This paper, thus, also shows the correlation of human body vibration between experiments and computer simulations. For the computer simulation, korean dummy models are developed from the Hybrid III models by scaling the body data of Hybrid III to those of Korean men and women. From the comparison between the test data and simulation data, a nice correlation in trends was shown.

IT와 네트워크의 발전에 힘입어 많은 서비스를 인터넷을 통해서 제공하고 있다. 인터넷 사용자가 급증하면서 수많은 서비스 요청에 대한 효과적인 처리 방법에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 라우터에서 패킷을 대상으로 사용된 Percentile 스케줄 기법을 리눅스 커널 스케줄러에 적용하여, 다양한 서비스 요청에 대해서 적절한 기준에 따라 다른 등급으로 분류하고 차등적인 서비스를 제공하고자 하는 연구를 진행하였다. 논문에서는 리눅스의 기본 스케줄러에 nice()시스템 콜을 이용하여 차등화 스케줄을 적용한 것과 Percentile 스케줄 기법을 리눅스 커널 스케줄러에 적용한 것을 비교 실험하였다. Percentile 스케줄 기법을 적용한 경우 기존의 리눅스 커널에 비해서 등급에 따른 응답시간의 차이가 명확한 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.
