The research conducted a survey using convenience sampling for adult women (from 20 years to 60 years) who purchased cosmetic items within 6 months. A total of 463 samples were used for the final analysis. Data analysis consisted of descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, a confirmatory factor analysis, and a structural equation modeling analysis. Customer cosmetic consumption need had six factors: exhibition need, safety need, need to look younger and to pursue beauty, need to go along with others, eco-friendly need, and pleasure need. The buying motive had four factors: others-oriented motive, motive to keep skin healthy, economic motive, and motive to change products. The causality model showed that customer consumption need influenced buying motive, brand satisfaction, brand attachment, and brand loyalty. There were also significant effects on buying motive for brand satisfaction, brand attachment, and brand loyalty. In addition, there were indirect effects on the relationship between customer consumption need and brand loyalty. The pursuit for pleasure had a significant indirect effect on brand loyalty.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of adolescents' need on their attitudes to aesthetic surgery and clothing. Subjects were 627 middle and high school students. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was used to calculate percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Also, these data were verified by Factor analysis, t-test, One-way Anova, Duncan' multiple range, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research were as follows: Adolescents with higher need for achievement showed negative attitudes toward the secret and risk of aesthetic surgery. On the other hand, those with higher need for dominance and exhibition were in favor of the surgery and willing to have it despite its high cost and risk. Individuality of clothing was directly affected by need for achievement and dominance. Adolescents with higher need for achievement and dominance considered individuality as one of the most important factors. And sexual attractiveness of clothing had a positive correlation with both need for dominance and exhibition. Such a fact leaded that adolescents with higher need for dominance and exhibition considered sexual attractiveness as one of the most important factors, along with individuality. As a conclusion, adolescents' need play an important role in explaining the recently observed trends among adolescents in aesthetic surgery attitude and clothing attitude.

Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS/WIN program. The results obtained are as follows ; 1. The mean score of the general need of rehabilitation day care program of stroke survivors was 2.78(range 1-4). The highest need among the service categories of the rehabilitation day care program was self-care and restorative activities category, and health services referral category, recreation category, psychosocial activities category in order. The need for the effect related to the utilization of rehabilitation day program displayed a correlation with the level of education, ADL, and the level of depression. The stepwise multiple linear regression analysis revealed following results : 1. For the need for rehabilitation day care program service, 28.4% of the variance was initially explained by one variable, level of depression. The level of depression plus two variables, survivors' age and ADL, explained 34.2% of the variance in the need for rehabilitation day care program service. 2. For the need for the effect related to the utilization of rehabilitation day care program, 12.4% of the variance was initially explained by one variable, level of depression. The level of depression plus one variable, level of education, explained 20.4% of the variance in the need for the effect related to the utilization of rehabilitation day care program. In conclusion, above characteristics should be considered when we are planning to develop stroke survivors' rehabilitation day care program.

Purpose : The objective of this study was to provide information about the need and perception of continuing education(CE) according to gender in physical therapists. This study also aimed to provide basic data for the improvement of quality of the CE program with physical therapists. Methods : The study analyzed basic data from Korea Physical Therapy Association regarding the 350 physical therapists in Gwangju metropolitan city (Male; 102, female; 248). The questionnaire consisted of 3 categories: general characteristics, need of CE, and perception. For need of CE and perception, it assessed using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, and simple regression analysis using dummy variable. Results : The need of CE showed a weak positive correlation in the only the pediatric physical therapy according to gender in physical therapists (R2=.012) (p<.05). Both male and female physical therapists had the highest need in the musculoskeletal system, followed by nervous system. The perception of CE were not significantly correlated according to gender in physical therapists (p>.05). Both male and female physical therapists were high on the cyber-CE (Q4) and on the need for CE (Q1, Q2, Q3). Whereas, a lower score was found in category that CE helped in the performance of the work (Q6, Q7, Q8). Conclusion : In this study, there was little or no significant correlation between need and perception of CE according to gender in physical therapists. Both male and female physical therapists recognize the need for CE, whereas they are less satisfied the efforts of CE in the performance of the work. Therefore, improvement of CE through various programs should be made to enhance the perception of CE.

Data were collected through a survey of adults in their 20's and 30's with 48 questionnaires for statistical analysis. The collected data were processed with the programs AMOS 16.0 and SPSS 18.0 for windows and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis, and structural equation analysis were conducted to analyze the data. The results in this research are follows. First, the clothes consumption value influences the importance of apparel product attributes both directly and indirectly and the importance of store attributes indirectly through use information sources. Second, the need for uniqueness influences the importance of apparel product attributes indirectly and importance of store attributes both directly and indirectly through clothes consumption value and use information sources. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.
