A Dynamic Resource Allocation Method in Tactical Network Environments Based on Graph Clustering (전술 네트워크 환경에서 그래프 클러스터링 방법을 이용한 동적 자원 할당 방법)

  • In a tactical-edge environment, where multiple weapon resources are coordinated together via services, it is essential to make an efficient binding between an abstract service and a resource that are needed to execute composite services for accomplishing a given mission. However, the tactical network that is used in military operation has low bandwidth and a high rate of packet loss. Therefore, communication overhead between services must be minimized to execute composite services in a stable manner in the tactical network. In addition, a tactical-edge environment changes dynamically, and it affects the connectivity and bandwidth of the tactical network. To deal with these characteristics of the tactical network we propose two service-resource reallocation methods which minimize the communication overhead between service gateways and effectively manage neutralization of gateways during distributed service coordination. We compared the effectiveness of these two - methods in terms of total communication overhead between service gateways and resource-allocation similarity between the initial resource allocation and the reallocation result.

ONO 삼중막 패시베이션 구조의 열적 안정성에 관한 연구

  • 현재 결정질 태양전지 제작에 있어 공정 단가 및 재료비 절감을 위해 실리콘 웨이퍼의 두께가 점점 얇아지는 추세이며, 이에 따른 장파장 영역 흡수 손실을 감소시키기 위한 방안으로 후면 패시베이션에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 후면 패시베이션층으로는 SiO2, SiNx, a-Si:H, SiOxNy 등의 물질이 사용되고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 SiO2/SiNx/SiO2 (ONO)의 삼중막 구조를 패시베이션층으로 하여 SiNx 단일막 구조와의 열처리 온도에 따른 소수캐리어 수명(${\tau}eff$), 후면 재결합속도(Seff), 확산거리(LD) 등의 파라미터 변화를 비교하였다. 증착 직후와 $350^{\circ}C$에서의 Forming Gas Annealing (FGA), 그리고 $800^{\circ}C$의 고온에서의 fast firing 후의 각각의 파라미터 변화를 관찰하였다. 증착 직후 SiNx 단일막과 ONO 삼중막의 소수캐리어 수명은 각각 $108{\mu}s$$145{\mu}s$를 보였다. 후면 재결합속도는 65 cm/s와 44 cm/s를 보였으며, 확산거리는 각각 $560{\mu}m$$640{\mu}m$를 나타내었다. FGA와 firing 열처리 후 세 파마미터는 모두 향상된 값을 보였으며 최종 firing 처리 후 단일막과 삼중막의 소수캐리어 수명은 각각 $196{\mu}s$$212{\mu}s$를 보였다. 또한 후면 재결합속도는 28 cm/s와 24 cm/s를 보였으며, 확산거리는 각각 $750{\mu}m$$780{\mu}m$를 보여 ONO 삼중막 구조의 경우에서 보다 우수한 특성을 보였다. 본 실험을 통해 SiNx 단일막보다 ONO 패시베이션 구조에서의 열적안정성이 우수함을 확인하였으며, 또한 ONO 패시베이션 구조는 열적 안정성뿐 아니라 n-type 도핑을 위한 Back To Back (BTB) 도핑 공정 시 후면으로 의 도펀트 침투를 막는 차단 층으로서의 역할도 기대할 수 있다.

Eco-friendly Esterification of Dicarboxylic Acid Using Recovered Boric Acid (회수 Boric Acid를 이용한 Dicarboxylic Acid의 환경친화적 에스터화 반응)

  • In this study, the boric acid which is a by-product in the esterification process to obtain norbornene diester derivatives was recovered, and then its reusability for esterification of norbornene was investigated. Four types of trialkyl borate (tributyl borate, tripentyl borate, and triisopentyl borate, trihexyl borate) were synthesized through the esterification with boric acid and four types of alcohol. Then, diester derivatives were synthesized by esterification with the synthesized trialkyl borate and norbornene dicarboxylic acid. The conversion of norbornene dicarboxylic acid is 89.50~99.31%. The boric acid which is a by-product in the esterification were recovered with NaCl salt and used for synthesizing trialkyl borate. The recovery rate was 92.43~99.35 %. When the recovered trialkyl borate was used in esterification, there are little losses of the yield. Since boric acid which is a major by-product is able to be recovered, the process is expected to be a clean technology to prevent an environmental pollution by the emission of chemical compounds.

A Study of NO Fmission Characteristics in a Non-premixed Counterflow Flame with $H_2/CO_2/Ar$ Blended-fuel (수소/이산화탄소/알곤 혼합 연료의 비예혼합 대향류 화염에서 NO 배출 특성 연구)

  • The detailed chemistry with reaction mechanism of GRI 2.11, which consists of 49 species and 279 elementary reactions, have been numerically conducted to investigate the flame structure and NO emission characteristics in a non-premixed counterflow flame of blended fuel of $H_2/CO_2/Ar$. The combination of $H_2,\;CO_2$, and Ar as fuel is selected to clearly display the contribution of hydrocarbon products to flame structure and NO emission characteristics due to the breakdown of $CO_2$. Radiative heat loss term is involved to correctly describe the flame dynamics especially at low strain rates. All mechanisms including thermal, $NO_2,\;N_2O$, and Fenimore are also taken into account to separately evaluate the effects of $CO_2$ addition on NO emission characteristics. The increase of added $CO_2$ quantity causes flame temperature to fall since at high strain rates diluent effect is prevailing and at low strain rates the breakdown of $CO_2$ produces relatively populous hydrocarbon products and thus the existence of hydrocarbon products inhibits chain branching. It is also found that the ratio of the contribution by Fenimore mechanism to that by thermal mechanism in the total mole production rate becomes much larger with increase in the $CO_2$ quantity and strain rate, even though the absolute quantity of NO production is deceased. Consequently, as strain rate and $CO_2$ quantity increase, NO production by Fenimore mechanism is remarkably augmented.

The Effect of Pre-Wilting Herbage on the Composition and Feeding Value of Silage (예건의 Silage의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Experiment were conducted to study effect of pre-wilting on the quality of silage. Herbage samples were taken on November 11, 1981. Italian ryegrass and rye plant at grazing stage were taken and wilted to adjust their dry matter contents to the range of 15.8 to 53.2% and ensiled in order to evaluate the effect of pre-wilting on the chemical composition and nutrient loss of silage. Both prewilted and unwilted grass material were ensiled in small polyetylene film bag and stored under room temperature. 1. The formation of total acid decreased by increasing DM content, however, lactic acid content of the total organic acid increased. 2. In the silage, the loss of DM declined as DM content increased. 3. The quality of silage estimated by organic acid constituent was improved as DM content in the herbage increased. 4. The production of $NH_3-N$ decreased by increasing degree of prewilting. 5. In vitro dry matter digestibility was not affected by prewilting.

Effect of Mixing Ratio on Rheological Properties of Kochujang (배합비를 달리한 고추장의 레올로지 특성)

  • 찹쌀가루와 메주가루의 배합비율(무게비)을 달리한 고추장(찹쌀가루 : 메주가루 = 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 2:1, 3:1)의 숙성 중 품질 변화를 평가하기 위해 12주 동안 숙성시키면서 고추장의 이화학적 특성, 효소 활성 및 레올로지 특성을 연구하였다. 숙성 중 고추장의 수분함량은 $47.4{\sim}47.9%$에서 점차 증가하여 8주에는 최대 수분함량을 보였다. 환원당 함량은 $2{\sim}4$주에 가장 높았으며 이후에서는 점차 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 아미노태 질소 함량은 지속적으로 증가하였다. ${\alpha}-amylase$${\beta}-amylase$ 활성은 숙성 $2{\sim}4$주에 최대 역가를 나타냈다. Acidic protease와 neutral protease는 각각 숙성 2주와 4주에 가장 높은 활성을 보였다. Power law 모델에 의한 유동성 측정에서 고추장은 낮은 유동성지수(flow behavior index, $n=0.21{\sim}0.36$)를 가진 전단담화(shearing-thinning)거동을 보여주었으며, 점조도 지수(consistency index, K)와 겉보기점도 $({\eta}_{a,10})$는 숙성 2주에 급격히 증가하고 이후에는 감소하였다. Casson 모델식에 의한 항복응력$({\sigma}_{oc})$은 숙성 2주에 급격히 증가하고 이후에는 감소하였다. 동적 점탄성 측정에서는 저장 탄성률 (G#)이 손실탄성률 (G') 보다 높은 수치를 나타내었고 주파수(frequency, ${\omega}$)가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보여주었다. 또한 숙성기간이 경과함에 따라 (G#)과 (G@)이 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다.

Determination by Neutron Analysis of Mercury Residues in Foodstuffs (방사화분석법에 의한 식품중의 잔류수은의 정량)

  • In order to find out the degree of mercury contamination of common foodstuffs a series of determination was carried out by a highly sensitive activation analysis and the following results were obtained. 1. Polished rice contained 0.050 ppm of mercury whereas rice bran had 0.095 ppm mercury which was found in other grain in lesser degree. 2. Vegetables and fruits also contained $0.035{\sim}0.190\;ppm$ of mercury with relatively small variations from sample except persimmon which had a considerably higher amount of mercury. 3. Soybean sprout contained an unexpectantly high amount of mercury. 4. Of the animal products chicken and egg contained more mercury than the meat.

Evaluation of Performance Simulation for Bridge Substructure Due to Types of Scour (지반세굴 유형에 따른 교량 하부구조의 해석적 거동 예측)

  • The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the behavior of a bridge substructure subjected to scouring during flood. A finite element (FE) study was carried out on a substructure modeled using the standard section specified for highway bridges. The three-dimensional FE model consists of non-linear springs with tri-axial load capacities at the base in order to consider the loss of bearing capacity of the substructure by local scour phenomenon. Various time varying loading conditions and scouring patterns were considered in the analysis. The results indicate a change in the structural behavior of substructure depending on the eroded area and pattern. The outcome of this research will be useful to suggest basic design guidelines for ground sills of the bridge substructure.

A Study on Fabrication and Performance Evaluation of Wideband Receiver using Bias Stabilized Resistor for the Satellite Mobile Communications System (바이어스 안정화 저항을 이용한 이동위성 통신용 광대역 수신단 구현 및 성능 평가에 관한 연구)

  • A wideband RF receiver for satellite mobile communications system was fabricated and evaluated of performance in low noise amplifier and high gain amplifier. The low noise amplifier used to the resistive decoupling and self-bias circuits. The low noise amplifier is fabricated with both the RF circuits and the self-bias circuits. Using a INA-03184, the high gain amplifier consists of matched amplifier type. The active bias circuitry can be used to provide temperature stability without requiring the large voltage drop or relatively high-dissipated power needed with a bias stabilized resistor. The bandpass filter was used to reduce a spurious level. As a result, the characteristics of the receiver implemented here show more than 55 dB in gain, 50.83 dBc in a spurious level and less than 1.8 : 1 in input and output voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR), especially the carrier to noise ratio is a 43.15 dB/Hz at a 1 KHz from 1537.5 MHz.

Hybrid Main Memory Systems Using Next Generation Memories Based on their Access Characteristics (차세대 메모리의 접근 특성에 기반한 하이브리드 메인 메모리 시스템)

  • Recently, computer systems have encountered difficulties in making further progress due to the technical limitations of DRAM based main memory technologies. This has motivated the development of next generation memory technologies that have high density and non-volatility. However, these new memory technologies also have their own intrinsic limitations, making it difficult for them to currently be used as main memory. In order to overcome these problems, we propose a hybrid main memory system, namely HyMN, which utilizes the merits of next generation memory technologies by combining two types of memory: Write-Affable RAM(WAM) and Read-Affable RAM(ReAM). In so doing, we analyze the appropriate WAM size for HyMN, at which we can avoid the performance degradation. Further, we show that the execution time performance of HyMN, which provides an additional benefit of durability against unexpected blackouts, is almost comparable to legacy DRAM systems under normal operations.
