  • 최근 전세계적으로 저탄소, 녹색성장으로 인하여 원자력발전이 주목받고 있다. 또한 에너지의 고효율로 인한 발전소의 설비가 대형화가 됨에 따라 발전소의 수명평가와 건전성평가가 중요해지고 있다. 일반적으로 구조물 내에 존재하는 균열의 크기와 형상을 파악하여 피로균열전파속도를 평가함으로써 건전성평가를 확인하고 있다. 그리고 고온, 고압에서의 피로균열전파속도는직류전위차 (Direct Current Potential Drop : DCPD)법을 사용하고 있다. DCPD법은 균열의 정밀한 측정방법으로써 측정시 오차가 발생하기 때문에 ASTM에서 제시된 incremental polynomial 법을 권고하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 피로균열전파전파속도의통계적처리를 통해서 합리적인 곡선을 구하여 건전성평가에 활용하고자 한다. 실험에 사용된 시편은 두께 5mm, 폭 25.4mm CT시편을 사용하였으며, 1mm의 예비균열을 주었다. 그리고 실험온도는 상온에서 실시 하였으며, 주파수는 10Hz를 주었다. 그리고 DCPD 측정을 위해 5A의 전류를 주었으며, 이때 측정된 전압값을 ASTM에 제시된 관계식에넣어 균열길이로 환산하였으며, 데이터처리는 ASTM에 제시된 incremental polynomial법을 기본적으로 사용하였다. 또한 ASTM에 제시된 2n+1을 이용하여 데이터의 수 n을 1~7 까지 변화를 주어 3~15 point 까지 데이터를 처리하여곡선을 제시하였다. 분석결과 $R^2$값이 1을 기준으로 했을 때 3~7 point 까지는큰 차이를 보이지 않았지만 9-point 이후부터는 $R^2$ 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 적용된 데이터의수에 따라 피로군열전파속도 곡선에서 측정된 Paris law의 n값과 C 값은 큰차이를 보이지 않았다.

  • Karyological characteristics were investigated in 3 species of the genus Liobagrus from Korea. The diploid chromosome number in L. andersoni was found to be 28, with 9 pairs of metacentrics and 5 pairs of submetacentric chromosomes, and arm number (AN) was 56. L. mediadiposalis was found with 2n of 42, consisting of 13 pairs of metacentrics and 8 pairs of submetacentric chromosomes (AN=84). In the case of L. obesus 2n was 20, with 20 metacentric chromosomes (AN=40), which was the lowest among the species of the order Siluriformes. Sexual dimorphism or intraspecific polymorphism of the chromosomes was not observed in any species examined.

  • Vibratory pile driving has an advantage of reduced noise pollutions compared to impact pile driving and it has been very widely used in the installation of sheet piles. However, very little has been known about the driveability characteristics of sheet pile under vibratory driving. So, the proper sheet piles and vibratory hammer for an given soil profile and depth are determined on a empirical basis. In this study. the driveability of U-type sheet piles are analytically estimated using the commercial WEAP(Wave Equation Analysis of Piles) program. The WEAP analysis shows that penetration rate of sheet pile decreases as N value increases. And if penetration length is not over 20 meters, the rate of penetration decreases as the sectional area of sheet pile increases.

  • The pseudo-first order rate constants have been obtained for the solvolysis of pseudo-saccharinechloride in MeOH-$H_2O$, EtOH-$H_2O$, MeOH-MeCN and MeOH-$(Me)_2$CO solvents mixtures at various temperatures. Values of n and m in the Kivinen and Grunwald-Winstein plots, respectively, have been determined and the Taft's solvatochromic parameters were obtained; based on these solvent effect parameters as well as on the activation parameters it was concluded that reaction proceeds via an $S_N2$ mechanism.

  • The pseudo-first order rate constants have been obtained for the solvolysis of benzoyl cyanide in various aqueous solvent mixtures and ethanol-trifluoroethanol mixtures at 1, 5, 10, 15 and $20^{\circ}C$. Values of n in the Kivinen polt, m values of Grunwald-Winstein polt, $\beta$ values of Leffler relationship and values of m and l in the extended Grunwald-Winstein polt have been calculated and studied the transition state variation caused by solvent changes using the More O'Ferrall polt and quantum mechanical approach. It has been shown that the reaction proceed via the associative $S_N2$ mechanism, using the transition state parameters and quantum mechanical model approach.

선형 대향 타겟 스퍼터를 이용하여 성막한 Al-Ga-Zn-O 다성분계 박막의 두께에 따른 특성 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 선형 대향 타겟 스퍼터 시스템을 이용하여 Hetero sputtering 방법으로 증착한 AlGaZnO (AGZO) 박막의 두께에 따른 특성을 연구하였다. DC Power 250 W, Working pressure 0.3 mTorr, Ar 20 sccm의 고정된 성막 조건하에서, AGZO 박막의 두께가 25 nm에서 1 um로 증가함에 따른 전기적, 광학적, 구조적, 표면 특성을 Hall measurement, UV/visible spectrometry, Ellipsometry, XRD, FESEM 분석을 통해 분석하고 이를 설명할 수 있는 메커니즘을 제시하였다. 선형 대향 타겟 스퍼터의 장점으로 인해 상온에서도 우수한 특성을 갖는 AGZO 박막을 성장 시킬 수 있었으며 AGZO 박막의 전기적, 광학적특성은 다른 산화물 투명 전극 박막과 마찬가지로 두께에 매우 큰 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 두께에 따른 특성 변화는 상온에서도 Columnar 구조를 가지는 AGZO의 구조적 특성과 밀접한 연관이 있으며 특히 결정립 크기가 AGZO의 광학적, 전기적 특성에 큰 영향을 미침을 XRD 분석을 통해 확인하였다. 또한 AGZO 두께에 따른 결정성의 차이가 박막의 n값에도 영향을 미침을 엘립소미터 분석을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. Scherrer formula을 활용하여 계산한 결과 AGZO 박막의 두께 증가에 따라 결정성 향상 및 결정립의 크기가 증가함을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 FESEM 분석을 통해서도 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Kinetic studies on solvolytic reactions of 1-and 2-naphthalene sulfonyl chlorides in ethanol-water mixtures have been carried out by means of conductometry at several temperatures. The rate constant for 2-naphthyl compound was larger than that for 1-naphthyl compound. This was contrary to the prediction of MO theory and could be rationalized as due to the peri-hydrogen effect in the transition state for 1-naphthyl compound. Based on m values of Winstein plots and n values of Kivinen pacolots it was concluded that the solvolytic displacement of the two naphthalene sulfonyl chlorides in ethanol-water mixtures proceed via $S_N2$ process.

  • Though the pile skin friction can take substantial amount of load carrying capacity, it has often been ignored in the design. Even when the pile skin friction is taken into consideration, it is questionable about the reliability of estimating it. It has been even worse in Korea. since in most cases the available information is only the SPT N values and not much information has been known about the correlation between N value and the pile skin friction in residual soils. With SPLT (Simple Pile Loading Test) it is possible to measure the pile skin friction separately from the tip resistance. In this research, results of the measured pile skin friction in residual soils are analysed. And a new design correlation based on SPT N value is proposed.

  • This study proposed the method that can calculate discharge using hydraulic characteristics that can acquire easily-comparatively such as hydraulic radius, bed slope, depth to improve the stage-discharge curve equation considering only stage. Roughness coefficient n value and C value that hydraulic characteristics of rivers is reflected from Manning's equation and Chezy's equation using the measured data of the natural open channel in the report of Albert University estimated and calculated discharge on the basis of this. The method proposed in this study was calculated stunningly to measured discharge. And that compared with discharge by existent stage-discharge curve.

Adsorption of Butachlor on Soils (제초제 Butachlor 의 토양흡착)

  • The soil adsorption coefficient of butachlor was measured mainly following the guidelines of U. S. EPA and OECD. The soil adsorption coefficient, Koc, of butachlor agreed well with the values in the literature. It was observed that soil adsorption differed about 5% with an increase or decrease by $15^{\circ}C$, implying that temperature does affect soil adsorption. The estimated value of the soil adsorption coefficient using water solubility and molecular structure deviated by factors of 2 and 20, respectively. The soil adsorption coefficient, Koc, of butachlor was 543 so this value means that butachlor is tightly bound to organic matter in soil and is considered immobile. A novel trial estimating the soil adsorption coefficient by molecular structure might be utilized to design efficient and/or non-polluting agrochemicals by organic chemists.
