Recently the Northeast Asia region, which includes Korea, China and Japan, has become one of the top three regions for trade and, therefore, is being recognized as a new hub for the global economy. Meanwhile, tourism not only improves the economy, but also enhances mutual understanding through interchange and has cultural functions such as that of the sharing of human values for a bright future. In addition, the promotion of the tourism industry will not only ensure Korea of becoming a hub for the Northeast Asia economy, but it can be a win-win plan that contributes in forming a future Northeast Asian community achieved through peace and prosperity based on the social and cultural connections within the region. Taking the above into consideration, there is a need to carefully scrutinize the status of tourism in Northeast Asia for the management of the future of Korea.

The data were collected from the total of 600 obese students from middle and high schools in Pusan. The author used a convenience sampling method. The data collection was done from March 2 to July 11, 1999. The analysis of the data was done with SPSS Win(10.0) for descriptive statistics and factor analysis. The preliminary tool was composed of 72 items(stress items: 34, coping method items: 38) with the five point Likert scale. Item analysis and inter consistency were calculated for reliability and validity through pre-test. The preliminary tool was analyzed for reliability and validity. Finally, the tool was of 65 items(stress items: 33, coping method items: 32). The results were as follows: 1. Cronbach Coefficient Alpha for the 33 items of stress was .9485 and the 32 items of coping method was .8534. 2. The factor analysis was done in order to confirm construction and the items were extracted Oblimin rotation and Maximum likelihood extraction method. 3. The factor analysis showed 6 factors in stress and 10 factors in coping method. These 6 factors of stress explained 62.4% and 10 factors of coping method explained 57.4%. 4. Six factor of stress lable were 〈outward appearance〉, 〈boyfriend/ girlfriend〉, 〈occur an outbreak of disease〉, 〈mutual relation of family〉, 〈an obese figure〉, 〈be a burden on exercise〉. 5. Korea's LNG and crude oil are the most important energy and export raw materials, but 100% import resources by overseas. However, tanker shipping companies, which play the most crucial role in energy cargo security, are very small in number and size, which can be a factor in the supply chain crisis. Therefore, this paper studied the policy of expanding tanker transportation necessary for the transport of crude oil and LNG in Korea. In the existing literature, there was no policy study necessary for tanker ships, but referring only to the importance of overseas energy development and transportation, so we tried to derive various demands necessary for expanding the tanker fleet through expert interviews and AHP which was conducted on 89 related energy institutions to derive policies and their priorities. The results of the study are as follows. As for the policy, the financial support policy was the highest priority, followed by the business and the mutual cooperation policy of related agencies. Tax support (22.6%) and ship financing (19.4%) were the highest priorities, followed by the Energy Intermediate Promotion Act (11.9%), Tanker Guarantee Insurance (10.6%), Energy Budget Independence (9.3%), and Korea Trader Development (8.2%). Energy governance (6.3%), information center establishment (6.2%), and energy procurement committee (5.5%) ranked seventh, eighth, and ninth. The research results show that it is necessary to supply sufficient ships to the market through the expansion of ship finance for tankers and to follow business support policies such as guarantee insurance. In addition, it was also possible to derive that the financial resources need to be determined by law and independent budgets for consistency and continuity.
The purpose of this study is to discover the plans for Yangyeongsi in Daegu, one of the most traditional streets and a tourist spot in South Korea, by preserving the historical place, reviving the historical characteristics and identity, revitalizing the uniqueness of the location, and developing the environment. This paper also illustrates the problems of the place through a investigation into its current state in order to promote the district and conduct a fundamental research framework to suggest future development methods and directions based on the problem statements. Daegu Yangyeongsi was chosen through frequency analysis and a survey asking for a suitable location and local characteristics to be developed for the local promotion through the field investigation of 158 cultural assets registered in the local government. This survey was conducted through the development process of the Regional Design Innovation Center to revitalize the traditional streets and places of interest. Through this investigation, 19 sites and traditional streets, which can be cultural resources for sightseeing and contribute to the local promotion, were extracted. Yangyeongsi, was selected from the finalists. The research methodology will be 1) to identify things for improvement potentiality through an in-depth analysis of Yangyeongsi, 2)to examine the mutual relationship between the revitalization strategy of Yangyeongsi and the city promotion strategy, and 3) to integrate the problems and improvements based on the results of the analysis. The notion of SWOT analysis synthetically considering the elements of opportunity and intimidation, strength and weakness to come up with the development direction was introduced to discover the local characteristics of Yangyeongsi and deduce the problem statement through the state analysis. Based on these results, the future development method and direction will be suggested in this paper through the revitalization study of Yangyeongsi.

Purpose: This study was to describe the process of healthy dieting and develop a substantive theory that explains lifestyle in obese male college students. Methods: The participants were 11 students who had participated in self-dieting program in a health center. Data were collected with in-depth interviews and analyzed by grounded theory in Strauss and Corbin (1990). Results: Through analyzing process, 36 concepts, 18 subcategories, and nine categories were deduced. In axial coding, casual condition, 'shrinking themselves' and 'oriented to selfish lifestyle', context condition, 'distress in mutual understanding' impacted on phenomenon, 'making health with autonomous living pattern'. Intervening conditions were 'practicing with active measures' and 'growing the willpower' and action-interaction condition, 'devoting realistic plan with positiveness' totally lead to consequence in 'regaining social relationship' and 'pursuing harmonious sound of mind and body'. The periods of process were divided four stages, reflecting self-characteristics, situational copping phase, applying period realistic strategies, and developing phase of social relationship. The core category, 'developing communication competency' incorporated the relationship between and among all categories and explained the process. Conclusion: The findings indicate that self leading health program helped to develop the communication competency. Therefore, we would consider about internalized motives and external incentives in health programs.
Over the last 10 years, the number of cancer survivors in South Korea has reached nearly one million with a survival rate of 49.4%. However, integrated supportive care for cancer survivors is lagging. One area in which the current cancer control policy needs updating is in the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT). The remarkable progress in the field of ICT over the past 10 years presents exciting new opportunities for health promotion. Recent communication innovations are conducive to the exchange of meta-information, giving rise to a new service area and transforming patients into active medical consumers. Consequently, such innovations encourage active participation in the mutual utilization and sharing of high-quality information. However, these benefits from new ICTs will almost certainly not be equally available to all, leading to so-called communication inequalities where cancer survivors from lower socioeconomic classes will likely have more limited access to the best means of making use of the health information. Therefore, most essentially, emphasis must be placed on helping cancer survivors and their caregivers utilize such advances in ICT to create a more efficient flow of health information, thereby reducing communication inequalities and expanding social support. Once we enhance access to health information and better manage the quality of information, as a matter of fact, we can expect an alleviation of the health inequalities faced by cancer survivors.
This study analyzed symbolically the win-win cooperation(or win-win growth) policies and laws of large and small business to Roland Barthes and Greimas's semiotics model, and suggested that the company win-win ecosystem(cooperation) and sanggeuk(competition) shoule from a mutual harmony and balance rather than being separated from eace other like yin(-) and yang(+) theory. The results of these studies, unlike the coexistence cooperation Promotion Law of large and small business is the original intent in the ecosystem of companies, there will also be acting as a regulatory rather to officials of large and small business. In this study, because it is limited to the analysis of large and small business win-win cooperation policies and laws, it must be supported in the future of the specific empirical research.
