Pressure sore is an area of ulceration and necrosis of the skin and underlying tissues usually occuring over the bony prominences of the body after prolonged or often repeated pressure. We reviewed and summarized the published articles and treatise on the treatment of pressure sore. The results were as follows : 1. Pressure sore occur due to prolonged or often repeated pressure. So it is better than decubitus ulcer that is called pressure sore. 2. The most common lesions of pressure sore are sacrum, ischial tuberosity, greater trochanter. 3. The cause of pressure sore are change of comprehension. urine, moisture, change of the ability of activity and exercise, shearing force. 4. The elements to influence on wound healing are collagen accumulation velocity, nutrition condition, Vitamine C, copper, iron. oxygen pressure, steroids, cell-toxic drug, radiation. 5. Non-operative treatments are managements of skin such as avoiding consistant pressure, dressing, preventing moisture, understanding patient and protecter, preventing spasm, improvement of systemic nutrition condition. 6. Operative treatements are debridement, suture, skin transplantation, muscle flap and musculaocutaneous flap surgery. Recently V-${\Gammer}$ advancement surgery in use of muscle and musculocutaneous flap is generally maded. 7. Complications of post-operation are wound rupture, infection, disappearance of transmitted skin, necrosis of flaps.
1. The human body is the unification related to the powerful fascial network, I think. 2. Myofascial not only prevent and support the human body structure curdling but also keep the physical balance by dispersing traumatization properly. 3. Myofascial restriction will be developed into muscle deficiency and cause pains without releasing the muscle tension and the spasm. 4. Myofascial restriction affect and change the physical posture by losing the muscle elasticity and flexibility and by losing muscle supporting ability from gravitation. 5. The partial myofascial restriction affect the muscle and the adjoining joint supporting gravitation and cause the unbalance of the entire body.
It has been reported that administration of Ginseng powder to the Guinea pig reduces anaphylactic shook induced by horse serum (Lee, 1939). However, Lee et al. (1960) and Paik et al. (1976) have demonstrated that Ginseng increases capillary permeabilites and histamine release from the mast cell. These facts suggest that Ginseng acts directly on the bronchial muscle causing it to dilate. Recently, a number of investigators(Kidakawa & Iwasiro 1963; Takagi et al. 1973) have reported that Ginseng reverses acetylcholine- or histamine- induced contraction in the isolated Guinea pig ileum. We, therefore, undertook the present study to examine if Ginseng relaxes the spasm of bronchial muscle induced by acetylcholine or histamine. We have also attempted to identify the mechanism of the Ginseng effect. Male Guinea Pig was sacrificed by a blow on the head, The trachea was removed and sectioned with scissors into about 12 rings. After the 'C' shaped ring of cartilage was sectioned the one end of ring was tied to the bottom of the incubation bath and the other end was connected to a force transducer (FTO 3C) to record tension on a Polygraph. When the antispasmodic action of Ginseng effect was first examined in the normal trachea which was not treated by the drug. And then the Ginseng effect was tested in the muscle treated by histamine hydrochloride, acetylcholine hydrochloride or barium chloride. The results indicate that Ginseng alcohol extract relaxes the contraction of isolated tracheal muscle induced by histamine $(1{\mu}g/ml{\sim}10{\mu}g/ml)$, acetylcholine $(1{\mu}g/ml{\sim}5{\mu}g/ml)$ and barium chloride (1.5 mg/ml). The mechanism of this action is in Pa.1 due to nonspecific antimuscarinic and antihistaminic effect and in part by predominant action in the adrenergic ${\beta}-receptor$ although the ${\alpha}-receptor$ is also involved. We, therefore, conclude that Ginseng can be act as a bronchodilator.
Objective : This study was performed to understand about the concept of Meridian muscle which is the method explaining the muscular system in the Oriental Medicine. Methods : To reveal the concept and the course of formation of Meridian muscle, we have compared the route and symptoms of meridian muscle with the Meridian route and Symptoms of <>, <> and <>. Results & Conclusion : 1. The concept of "Keun(筋)" reported in the <> include muscle, tendon, superficial vein and nerve. and in the <>, it means muscle and tendon. 2. The route of the Meridian muscle is facing toward the heart or head from the limbs, and the symptoms is mostly muscle spasm or pain according to the route, therefore the symptoms of the Meridian muscle are similar to the meridian symptoms of <>. 3. The twelve-Meridian muscle had been made by classifying the whole muscle into twelve sections with making reference to the Meridian system.

Cephalic tetanus is a rare subtype of tetanus in which trismus is a charateristic symptom. The paralysis of one or more cranial nerves can occur. The 7th cranial nerve is most frequently involved. It account for 1 to 3% of the tetanus and has a mortality of 15 to 30%. The incubation period is 1 to 14 days, and approximately two thirds of tetanus cases progress to generalized tetanus. Generally, the symptoms of cephalic tetanus can include : facial pain, trismus, dysphagia, muscle twitching spasms of the face and jaw (risus sardonicus), neck stiffness and malaise. We present a case of cephalic tetanus who 54-year male patient had trismus and dysphagia. There was no history of trauma. As there was a delay in diagnosis of cephalic tetanus, respiratory disorder and intermittent general spasm occurred. The patient was treated by injection of antibiotics, muscle relaxant, and human anti-tetanus immunoglobulin. His symptoms were disappeared, and he was discharged ambulatory.

Generalized anaphylaxis is a most dramatic and acutely life-threatening allergic reaction. Most fatalities from anaphylaxis occur within the first 30 minutes postantigenic exposure. The mechanism of generalized anaphylaxis is the reaction of IgE antibodies to an allergen that causes the release of histamine, bradykinin, and others. These chemical mediators cause the contraction of smooth muscles of the respiratory and intestinal tracts, as well as increased vascular permeability. Four major clinical symptoms are recognized: skin reactions, smooth muscle spasm (gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts and respiratory smooth muscle), respiratory distress, and cardiovascular collapse. Epinephrine is the drug of choice for the management. Its syrnpathomimetic effects directly counteract most aspects of the attack. Respiration must be immediately supported by the establishment of a patent airway along with artificial ventilation. The circulation should be supported and the existing hypotension overcome by placing the victim in a position to allow gravity to aid venous return and by administering intravenous fluids, vasopressors, and corticosteroids. When an imperceptible pulse is evident, external cardiac compression must also be instituted. This is a case report of anaphylactic shock care during general anesthesia, possibly due to penicillin, pancuronium and others.
We report here on a case of right side spasmodic torticollis (ST) that was refractory to botulinum toxin type A injection and medication. The patient finally underwent a selective ramisectomy with ipsilateral sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) resection, but the remaining symptoms slowly aggravated, and a contralateral left side SCM spasm began. As conservative therapy for reducing the spasmodic symptoms, accessory nerve block, upper cervical plexus block and stellate ganglion block were performed twice in a week. After 6 months, the spasmodic symptoms significantly decreased. The Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale (TWSTRS) decreased by more than 70%. After one year of serial intermittent local anesthetic blockade therapy, the patient became almost free from the original ST symptoms (TWSTRS = 1). Serial local anesthetic interventions for the ST patient may have a beneficial role on the pathological peripherocentral neural activity of the ST patient and can modulate motor-sensory integration in the patient.
Bradykinin receptor B2 (B2R) is a GPCR protein which binds with the inflammatory mediator hormone bradkynin. Kallidin, a decapeptide, also signals through this receptor. B2R is crucial in the cross-talk between renin-angiotensin system (RAS) and the kinin-kallikrein system (KKS) and in many processes including vasodilation, edema, smooth muscle spasm and pain fiber stimulation. Thus the structural study of the receptor becomes important. We have predicted the peptide structures of Bradykinin and Kallidin from their amino acid sequences and the structures were docked with the receptor structure. The results obtained from protein-protein docking could be helpful in studying the B2R structural features and in the pathophysiology in various diseases related to it.

The usages of botulinum toxin were most commonly for the treatment of spasmodic dysphonia in the otolaryngology field. It has been not only widely used in otolaryngology-Head Neck surgery but also plastic surgery, ophthalmology, rehabilitation medicine, and orthopedics. Now botulinum toxin is used such as blepharospasm (excessive blinking), strabismus, cosmetic, muscle spasms, upper motor neuron syndrome, severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis), chronic migraine, bruxism, and achalasia. The indication of this drug still gradually expanding with the times. In this articles, the author will demontrate how to use the botulinum toxin for treating cricopharyngeal spasm, arytenoid dislocation, sialocele, Frey syndrome, contact granuloma, bilateral vocal fold paralysis, and mutaional falsetto instead of conventional surgical treatment.
Heating of injured tissue has been used for centuries for pain relief and reduction of muscle spasm. In physical therapy locally applied heating gents are used not only to promote relaxation and provide pain relief, but they are also used to increase blood flow, to facilitate tissue healing, and to prepare stiff joints and tight muscles for exercise. Superficial heating agents primarily cause in increases in skin and superficial cutaneous tissue temperature. Superficial heating agents such as hot packs, paraffin wax, Deep heating agents, including shortwave diathermy and continuous-wave ultrasound, can increase tissue temperature at depths ranging from 3to 5cm without overheating the skim and subcutaneous tissue.
