This study is intended to suggest an improvement scheme of activating container multiplex cultural space through an analysis of container architecture characteristics and a survey of user satisfaction, focusing on container multiplex cultural space located in Seoul city. Hence, the elements of multiplex cultural space and the characteristics of container architecture were deduced and analyzed through precedent study and literature review relating to multiplex cultural space and container architecture, and then an analysis framework was established with items to measure the user satisfaction. Based on this, a questionnaire was created, and users were surveyed through on-site visit. The results of analyzing the container multiplex cultural space users' satisfaction are as follows. First, in order to increase user satisfaction, it is necessary to highlight visual element. Second, there is necessity for distinct space configuration, such as connection, stack and extension by utilizing the fixed specifications, the characteristics of container. Third, there is necessity for extended space where people feel a sense of openness. Fourth, it should be improved so that air is well circulated by installing glass, operable window, etc. In further research, it is thought necessary to make a study of commercial space and facilities inside university besides multiplex cultural space.

The value of space is changing with change of modern society value. In this change, there is consistent subject about 'public'. So, design studies of public space for indoor and outdoor space are being carried out. Also, the concept of total design for space is a essential element and substance plan about space design and marketing is accomplished based on the total design. Now days, multiplex cultural space which have the concept of public and total design is increasing interest. Therefore, a case of multiplex cultural space, a purpose of this paper is elements investigate which design elements in public space of indoor and outdoor how it have been connecting fundamental design elements.

논고는 복합문화적인 측면에서 바라 본 현대도시와 공공디자인의 특징 등에 대한 것이다. 본 연구는 현대도시와 문화에 대한 연구를 위해 관련 문헌 조사 및 다양한 이론적 고찰 등 실증주의적 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 문화와 복합문화에 대한 논의와 그에 따라 현대도시와 공공디자인과의 관계성을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 대표적 복합문화 공간으로서 스타필드 코엑스 사례를 분석하고 이를 공공디자인의 개념으로 재해석하였다. 덧붙여 현대도시가 가진 문화적 혼종성과 복합성의 성격을 공공공간에 융합하여 공공시설물에서의 사적공간의 필요성을 제언하였다. 하지만 본 연구는 우리나라의 복합문화의 개념 정의에 있어서 이론적 논의는 있었으나 이를 뒷받침 할 수 있는 실증적 사례를 제시하지 못하는 한계점을 가지고 있다. 이는 후속연구인 현대도시의 복합문화공간에 관한 고찰을 통해 실제 사례를 조사 연구를 통해 보완하도록 하겠다.

Major companies have launched into the film industry since 1990s, which resulted in competition in facilities. In addition, restriction for the number of the prints was removed. Under these circumstances, the cinema has been transformed and developed from the established one-hall cinema into multiplex cinema with large-scaled halls. Contrary to the established cinema, modern cinema are a cultural place within easy access. They accommodate diverse social and cultural needs and their functions have been extending gradually. The waiting areas should not function only as the waiting space for the audience but also the places to attract the audience and provide them with various cultural and art information, and temporary restful break. For this study, the inter-relationship between the structure of the area and the audience are identified objectively by analyzing audience distribution and their routes within the area. The purpose of the study is to provide basic data about the design of the waiting area based on the findings above.

Adolf Loos showed important directionality in the thought of modem culture and architecture. The thought about the architecture of Adolf Loos was gathered by "Raumplan". It is the solution of the plan in space. But the concept and method of the "Raumplan" had not been synthesized until near the end of Loos's life. Loos's first reference to the "Raumplan" appears in 1929. I think that "Raumplan" became the solution of the plan in space with a formation process of the thought about the architecture and culture of Adolf Loos. Therefore, the purpose of this paper derived a characteristic of "Raumplan" from the relations between the architectural thought of Adolf Loos and "Raumplan". The processes of the study are as follows. (1)Consideration about the growth background of Adolf Loos and the social situation of Vienna. (2)Analysis about architecture and the cultural critic of Adolf Loos. (3)Analysis of "Raumplan" based on architectural thought of Adolf Loos. As a result, I got the four characteristics of "Raumplan" as follows. (1) Separation and continuation of "Raum". (2) Fragment of "Raum". (3) Overlay and transmission by the axis of multiplex eyes. (4) Structural adjustment of the "Raum" by Hierarchy. Finally, I understood the architecture which Adolf Loos pursued in "Raumplan" had a high function and contained the clear meaning and contents which had practical use and economic value, and it were not a results of the simple logic.

의도치 않은 "코로나 19"시대로 전 세계는 혼란을 맞이했다. 일시적인 현상이 아닌 지속적인 현상이 되었고 사람들은 이 시대에 점점 익숙해지고 있다. 그중 우리는 한국 영화 산업을 좌우하고 멀티플렉스의 역할을 하는 "영화관"의 형태를 다양하게 접하고 있다. 이제는 우리 문화 산업에 자리 잡은 뉴 플랫폼 OTT를 통해 변화한 영화제 영화관람 형태를 기반으로 앞으로의 한국 영화 산업이 어떻게 발전하게 될 것인지 연구하였다. 연구결과, 오늘날 하나의 장르로 자리 잡고 있는 OTT플랫폼이 영화를 발전시킬 기회로 여겨야 하며, 영화 산업발전에 한 부분인 영화관이 OTT 플랫폼과 다른 점인 "공간의 기억"으로 "관객들의 발걸음이 다시 움직일 수 있다"라는 결과를 내릴 수 있었다. 코로나 19라는 위기에서 기회로 변화하는 결과를 가져와야 한다.
