다차원 스펙트럼 해석법을 이용한 PDP TV의 저소음화 (Noise Reduction of PDP TV Using Multi-dimensional Spectral Analysis Method)

  • The method is introduced for estimating the noise source contribution on the noise of PDP TV in a multiple-input system where the input sources may be coherent with each other. By the coherence function method, it is found that the biggest part of the noise source in the PDP TV noise is generated by the PCB boards which consume high power and produce high heat. This analysis is modeled as three-input/single-output system because the noise is generated by three main boards, X-board, Y-board, SMPS that are located close to each other. The coherence function method is proved to be useful tool for identifying of noise source. In this study, Transfer Path Analysis using MDSA is implemented to determine the quantitative noise contribution of each board for PDP TV with the rear case closed and with the rear case open. And the possibility of noise reduction is confirmed through the experimental method that isolates the most contributing board by adding sound-absorbing materials to it.

  • 본 논문의 part-I에서는 연속 및 분산의 두 가지 부채널 구조에 대해 부채널 상에서의 SNR분포를 라이스 분포로 모델링하고 이의 통계적 속성을 살펴보았다. 이번 Part에서는 직교 주파수분할 다중접속 시스템의 하향링크 전송을 위해 두 라이스 파라미터를 CQI정보로 이용하는 일반화된 2단계 자원할당 알고리즘을 제시하고 각 부채널 구조에 대해 시스템의 평균 주파수 효율 성능을 분석한다. 연속 부채널 구조의 경우 부채널 대역폭은 시스템 설계의 핵심적인 파라마터로서 이에 따른 주파수 효율 성능의 변화에 초점을 두고 분석을 수행하였다. 수치적인 분석결과에 의하면 연속 부채널 구조에서 부채널 대역폭이 채널 coherence 대역폭보다 작은 경우 정상적인 다중 사용자 이득(multiuser diversity gain)을 얻을 수 있으나 부채널의 대역폭이 채널 coherence 대역폭보다 커지면서 이득은 점차 줄어든다.

  • A majority of infrastructures has been deteriorated over time. Therefore, it is very important to verify the quality of construction, and the level of structural deterioration in existing structures, to ensure their safety and functionality. Many researchers have studied non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to identify structural problems in existing structures. The impact echo technique is one of the widely used NDT techniques. The impact echo technique has several inherent problems, including the difficulties in P-wave velocity evaluation due to inhomogeneous concrete properties, deterioration of evaluation accuracy where multiple reflection boundaries exist, and the influence of the receiver location in evaluating the thickness of the tested structures. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to propose an enhanced impact echo technique that can reduce the aforementioned problems and develop a Virtual Instrument for the application via a thickness evaluation technique which has same technical background to find deterioration in concrete structures. In the proposed impact echo technique, transfer function from dual channel system analysis is used, and coherence is improved to achieve reliable data. Also an averaged signal -ensemble- is used to achieve more reliable results. From the analysis of transfer function, the thickness is effectively identified.

주행 차량의 로드 노이즈 예측을 위한 각 입력원의 기여도 평가 (Transfer Path Analysis and Estimation of the Road Noise for the Driving Vehicle)

  • The reduction of the vehicle interior noise has been the main interest of noise and vibration harshness(NVH) engineers. A passenger vehicle has various and complicated transmission paths of sound and vibration. In order to identify the mechanism of transfer path, estimation of excitation force and exact modeling of transfer path are required. This paper presents method for estimating the noise source contribution on the road noise of the vehicle in a multiple input system where the input sources may be coherent with each other. And vector synthesis technique is employed to identify the characteristics of road noise and its transmission to vehicle compartment through noise and vibration analysis. Vibration reduction efficiency of each transfer path is evaluated by comparing individual vector components obtained virtual simulation.

음향 홀로그래피에 의한 실린더의 와류 유동 소음 가시화 및 기여량 분석 (Visualization and contribution analysis of the vortex shedding noise due to a cylinder by acoustic holography)

  • This paper exploits how vortex noise is generated around a cylinder. This is done by utilizing an acoustic holography. In this experiment. compressed air was Infected to tile cylinder through a hose. Therefore, major noise sources were at a hose end as well as around the cylinder: vortex shedding noise. The holography results show a resultant noise picture there it is not easy to clearly sort out the shedding noise and what is generated at the end of the tube. We attempted to separate those noise by the method we developed : contribution analysis scheme. The method, in fact, was found to be efficient and practical to separate the noise field into independent noise sources. The highlights of the results are. we believe, that lift and drag noise picture are now available. This procedure does not limit its application. therefore we may use this to visualize any noise field that we want to understand.

자동차 외부 공기음향 소음원들의 실험적 실내 기여도 분석 기술 개발 (Experimental contribution analysis of external aeroacoustic noise sources to interior noise of automobile)

  • 자동차 실내음에 대한 다양한 외부 공력 소음원들의 기여도 분석은 저소음 자동차를 개발하기 위해 단순히 외부 공력 소음원들을 파악하는 것보다 개발 효율성 측면에서 더 중요하다. 파악된 외부 공력 소음원들의 실내음 기여도를 분석하기 위하여 촐레스키 분리(Cholesky Decomposition, CD) 방법이라는 새로운 기법을 활용하여 전체 실내 소음 스펙트럼을 다수의 스펙트럼으로 분리하였다. 이를 통해 분리된 각각의 스펙트럼은 실내 소음에 대한 특정한 개별 소음원들의 기여도로 분석될 수 있다. 이 방법을 검증하기 위해 세가지 실험들이 수행되었다. 더 나아가 CD에 기초한 실내음 기여도 분석 방법은 실차 무향 풍동에서 마이크로폰 어레이를 통한 외부 소음원 가시화 결과와 결합하여 바람소리 개발 효율성을 향상시키는 데 활용이 가능한 지를 2개의 스피커 소음원 실험을 통해 검증하였다.
