The purpose of this study was to investigate dining-out behavior at ethnic restaurants and its relationship with ethnic restaurant satisfaction based on the food-related lifestyle (FRL) of undergraduate students. A total 306 of questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS ver. 12.0 package. The data were analysed using frequency, chi-square, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. According to the results of factor analysis, the FRL of undergraduate students categorized into health factor, taste factor, convenience factor and ethnic restaurant satisfaction was influenced by four elements: service & hygiene, food quality & convenience, atmosphere & image and unique culture. In addition, visiting frequency and visiting motivation of all dining-out behaviors at ethnic restaurants were significantly different and the FRL groups had differences in the influence of food quality & convenience, atmosphere & image and unique culture. Futhermore, the health factor of FRL was influenced by all elements of ethnic restaurant satisfaction. The findings indicate that ethnic restaurant owners should provide food with healthy ingredients in addition to unique culture and atmosphere to customers.
Caffeine has a long history of human consumption but the consumption of caffeine due to caffeinated energy drinks(CEDs) is rapidly growing. Marketing targets of CED sales are children, adolescents and young adults, possibly caffeine-sensitive groups and its effect for them can be significantly different from healthy adults. Caffeine-related toxicities among these groups are growing in number and a number of countries are recognizing severity of caffeine toxicities. Previous research showed prediction of maximal plasma caffeine concentration profiles after the single CED ingestion and the primary aim of this study is to visually predict plasma caffeine concentration after the single and multiple ingestion of standard servings of CED. Based on the population pharmacokinetic model using Monte Carlo simulation, prediction of caffeine concentration leading to caffeine intoxication in the sensitive groups is quantitatively presented and visualized. This research also broadens the perspective by creating and utilizing diverse open science tools including R package, Edison Science App and Shiny apps.
This research utilized integrated package program of PASW Statistics 18.0 and AMOS 22.0 to analyze how the influence of service quality factor of coffee chains affects customer satisfaction and intention of customer behavior. The utilized statistics techniques were frequency analysis, exploratory, confirmatory factor analysis, covariance structure analysis, multiple group structure equation model analysis, etc. As a result of hypothesis verification, first of all, it was verified that the service quality factor of coffee chains affected positive (+) effect on service justice. Second, it was verified that the service justice affected positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction. To see it detailed, it is possible to see that all factors, perception of interactive justice, distributive justice, procedural justice, were adopted as the case of affecting service satisfaction (p<.001). Third, it was verified that among the circumstances that service quality affected to satisfaction, justice played a role as intermediary role. Fourth, it was verified that service satisfaction affected positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction, finally, the influence that customer satisfaction affecting behavioral intention has no effect on behavioral intention by brands of domestic or abroad.
The purposes of this study were to verify the effects of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) selection attributes on satisfaction and loyalty for HMR. In addition, the moderating role of customer value was examined among selection attributes of HMR, satisfaction and loyalty for HMR. Using a convenience sampling method, the data were collected from those who have bought HMR in Seoul and Kyonggi area. After a total of 235 responses were collected, 220 were used for the analyses. The multiple regression analyses were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, it was found that product practicality and cooking convenience of HMR selection attributes had an effect on satisfaction of HMR but that ingredients safety and package & circulation period did not have an effect on satisfaction of HMR. Second, satisfaction of HMR significantly impacted loyalty for HMR. Third, in low group for customer value, product practicality of HMR selection attributes had an positive effect on satisfaction of HMR, and ingredients safety of HMR selection attributes had an negative effect on satisfaction of HMR. In high group for customer value, cooking convenience of HMR selection attributes had an positive effect on satisfaction of HMR. In low group as high group for customer value, satisfaction of HMR had a greater impact on loyalty for HMR.
This study aimed to identify whether or not four service situations varying according to positive and negative combinations of physical evidence and functional service influence store image and purchase behavioral intentions of customers at bulgogi restaurants. The video-scenario technique was used for the study. Data were analyzed with the SPSS (Window 19.0) package using frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, 2 by 2 factorial ANOVA, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis to confirm the hypotheses. The combined effect of functional service and physical evidence influenced store image and purchase intention. In terms of seperate effect of physical evidence and functional service, the effect of employee service on store image was more powerful than that of physical evidence, even though the effect differed depending on the situation. Purchase intention was only influenced by functional service quality from employees under the four different scenarios. Thus, when opening a Korean restaurant, proper management of tangible evidence suitable to service, and the prices expected from local customers should be determined. Additionally, extremely high or low levels of physical evidence management should be avoided.

The present paper introduced a computer program, called WISH, which is based on a time-domain Rankine panel method. The WISH has been developed for practical use to predict the linear and nonlinear ship motion and structural loads in waves. The WISH adopts three different levels of seakeeping analysis: linear, weakly-nonlinear and weak-scatterer approaches. Later, WISH-FLEX has been developed to consider hydroelasticity effects on hull-girder structure. This program can solve the springing and whipping problems by coupling between the hydrodynamic and structural problems. More recently this development has been continued to more diverse problems, including the motion responses of multiple adjacent bodies, the effects of seakeeping in ship maneuvering, and the floating-body motion in finite-depth domain with varying bathymetry. This paper introduces a brief theoretical and numerical background of the WISH package, and some validation results. Also several applications to real ships and offshore structures are shown.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate current packaging modules and design the most acceptable packaging module for domestic and international distribution systems. An optimum packaging module can reduce package costs as well as total distribution costs such as transport, materials handling and warehouse costs. Three different sizes of packaging modules, namely U-type($600{\times}500\;mm$), K -ype($550{\times}366\;mm$) and I-type($600{\times}400\;mm$), were evaluated in terms of the area efficiency and MOEs(measures of effectiveness) for the T-11($1100{\times}1100mm$) and T-12($1,200{\times}1,000\;mm$) pallets. The results showed that the U-type module could fit very well for both pallets and the area efficiency of each module was more than 99 percents. Area efficiency of K-and I-type modules was greatly affected by the pallet footprint dimensions. U-type module also performed better result from MOEs evaluation. Twenty sub-multiple sizes derived from the U-type module were suggested for the future development of the Korean and ISO standards on dimension of transport packages.
The purposes o this study were to investigate buying behaviors of patrons of six retail store types for clothing and the satisfaction levels of the six store types (department stores, specialty stores, chain store, discount stores, bonded goods stores and traditional market), and to test the differences in purchase behaviors and store satisfaction levels among the groups determined by demographic characteristics. A questionnaire survey was administered to male and female university students living in the Seoul metropolitan area from April 27 to May 11, 1999 ; 443 were collected and 391 were used for the data analysis. Data were analyzed by SPSS statistical package. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square analysis and Duncan's multiple range test were employed for the data analysis. In terms of the store usage, most of the subjects tended to choose the store types they patronized for buying coats, suits, blouses, T-shirts, slacks/skirts and jeans items ; but, they used department store and specialty store for coat, suit, blouse, T-shirt, slacks/skirt and jeans for purchasing selected clothing items. Regarding criteria used for store selection, the most important criterion was the diversity of products offered and other store types. In terms of the store satisfaction levels of the six store types, the patrons of all store types were most satisfied with the stores they patronaged.
In recent years there has been a significant growth in the use of the automated and/or robotic welding system, carried out as a means of improving productivity and quality, reducing product costs and removing the operator from tedious and potentially hazardous environments. One of the major difficulties with the automated and/or robotic welding process is the inherent lack of mathematical models for determination of suitable welding process parameters. Partial-penetration, single-pass bead-on-plate welds were fabricated in 12mm AS 1204 mild steel flats employing five different welding process parameters. The experimental results were used to develop three empirical equations: curvilinear; polynomial; and linear equations. The results were also employed to find the best mathematical equation under weld bend width to assist in the process control algorithms for the Gas Metal Arc Welding(GMAW) process and to correlate welding process parameters with weld bead width of bead-on-plates deposited. With the help of a standard statistical package program. SAS, multipe regression analysis was undertaken for investigating and modeling the GMAW process, and significance test techniques were applied for the interpretation of the experimental data.
The purpose of this study are to examine the influential variables between general character, family system, coping strategies, social support and stress of main caregivers for disordered elderly family. This study was conducted by interviewing of 177 family-members care to giving disordered elderly families in Taegu and Kyeongbuk province. The data were analyzed with the SPSS statistical package using frequency and percentage, multiple regression and path analysis. The results of this study were as follow : The variables influencing stress related to the disordered elderly family are the degree of disorder (${\beta}=.348^{***}$), caring-time-per day (${\beta}=.303^{***}$), employment status of main caregivers (${\beta}=.223^{***}$), social support (${\beta}=.241^{**}$), relational coping strategies (${\beta}=.199^{**}$), problem-avoidance coping strategies (${\beta}=.327^{***}$). Thus, in disordered elderly families, a high-stress situation arises with a highly-educated caregiver when problem-avoidence coping strategies or relational coping strategies are used or when daily caring time is great. A low-stress situation results when the caregiver is employed and the social support level is high.
