Dual Coupled Spiral 공진기를 이용한 X-대역 저위상 잡음 전압 제어 발진기 (X-band Low Phase Noise VCO Using Dual Coupled Spiral Resonator)

  • 본 논문에서는 낮은 위상잡음을 개선하기 위하여 마이크로스트립 사각 병렬 나선형 공진기를 이용한 향상된 전압 제어 발진기를 제시하였다. 마이크로스트립 사각 개방 루프 공진기는 큰 결합 계수 값을 갖는데 이는 Q값을 크게 만들고 전압 제어발진기의 위상 잡음을 줄일 수 있다. 1.8 V의 공급 전압을 사용한 전압 제어 발진기는 8.935~9.4 GHz의 주파수 조절 범위에서 -115.0~-117.34 dBc/Hz @100 kHz의 위상 잡음 특성을 갖는다. 마이크로스트립 사각 병렬 나선형 공진기와 일반적인 나선형 공진기를 비교했을 때, 개선된 Q값 특성은 -32.7 dB와 -57.6 dB이다. 제작된 저위상 잡음 전압 제어 발진기는 X-대역에서 전압 발진기로 이용될 수 있음을 확인 하였다.

  • In this paper, the linearization technique for CMOS low-noise amplifier (LNA) using the derivative superposition method through the multiple gated transistors configuration is presented. LNA based on 0.13um RF CMOS process has been implemented with a modified cascode configuration using multiple gated common source transistors to fulfill a high linearity. Compared with a conventional cascode type LNA, the third order input intercept point (IIP3) per DC power consumption (IIP3/DC) is improved by 3.85 dB. The LNA achieved 2.5-dBm IIP3 with 13.4-dB gain, 3.6 dB NF at 2.4 GHz consuming 8.56 mA from a 1.5-V supply.

  • The effect where the multiple sound arrest ing goes mad to the human being does the zone. From like that cotton, this dissertation the both sides flag executed the research regarding a sound arresting reduction in the object in one example. It compared the piping structure which generally is space-time and a specific piping structure and it tested and research and the modeling regarding a sound arresting reduction the simulation which leads and it executed result and comparison of existing it analyzed. The duplication where the reduction effect is bigger the result general VG2 piping structure than escape it did with the fact that it appears the large effect the piping structure which it connects. Also, the straight pipe effect of multiple sound arresting could not go mad with the fact that.

An Improved Stereo Matching Algorithm with Robustness to Noise Based on Adaptive Support Weight

  • An active research area in computer vision, stereo matching is aimed at obtaining three-dimensional (3D) information from a stereo image pair captured by a stereo camera. To extract accurate 3D information, a number of studies have examined stereo matching algorithms that employ adaptive support weight. Among them, the adaptive census transform (ACT) algorithm has yielded a relatively strong matching capability. The drawbacks of the ACT, however, are that it produces low matching accuracy at the border of an object and is vulnerable to noise. To mitigate these drawbacks, this paper proposes and analyzes the features of an improved stereo matching algorithm that not only enhances matching accuracy but also is also robust to noise. The proposed algorithm, based on the ACT, adopts the truncated absolute difference and the multiple sparse windows method. The experimental results show that compared to the ACT, the proposed algorithm reduces the average error rate of depth maps on Middlebury dataset images by as much as 2% and that is has a strong robustness to noise.

  • 측정잡음이 시간에 순차적으로 상관된 경우의 동적 시스템에서의 다중 고장들을 검출하고 진단하는 효과적인 방법을 제시하였다. 제안된 고장검출 및 진단기법은 수정된 상호간섭다중모델 추정 알고리즘을 기반으로 하며 이것은 유색잡음에 대해 자기회귀 모델을 사용하고 측정 차분법을 적용함으로써 일반 비상관 프로세스를 설계하여 상호간섭다중모델 추정 알고리즘에 적용한 것이다.

박막-공동계의 주파수 특성과 응용 (Frequency Characteristics of a Membrane-Cavity System and its Applications)

  • A system which is composed of a membrane and an air cavity is studied. To analyze the low frequency characteristics of a single membrane-cavity system, a plane wave model is derived. The relations among system variables, such as tension, density and stiffness, are investigated. Absorption coefficient has a maximum value at a peak frequency. In addition, a membrane-cavity system absorbs the low frequency noise with a band around peak frequency. This band is primarily determined by damping effect of the system. Furthermore, a multiple membrane-cavity system is investigated by using the transfer matrix method. To show the practical applicability of the proposed model, extensive experiments were conducted. Results show that a multiple membrane-cavity system can have broader noise reduction in the low frequency range than single.

Millimeter-Wave High-Linear CMOS Low-Noise Amplifier Using Multiple-Gate Transistors

  • A millimeter-wave (mm-wave) high-linear low-noise amplifier (LNA) is presented using a 0.18 ${\mu}m$ standard CMOS process. To improve the linearity of mm-wave LNAs, we adopted the multiple-gate transistor (MGTR) topology used in the low frequency range. By using an MGTR having a different gate-source bias at the last stage of LNAs, third-order input intercept point (IIP3) and 1-dB gain compression point ($P_{1dB}$) increase by 4.85 dBm and 4 dBm, respectively, without noise figure (NF) degradation. At 33 GHz, the proposed LNAs represent 9.5 dB gain, 7.13 dB NF, and 6.25 dBm IIP3.

  • In this study, we identify contribution of structure-borne-noise of vehicle HVAC system using Multi-Dimensional spectral analysis (MDSA) method. Firstly, to identify the applicability of MDSA method, the case of HVAC system was modeled with four input / single output system. The four inputs which is given vibration data is composed of blower, evaporator, heater and duct. The single output is noise data from driver's seat. When the blower motor is operating, we analyze the contributions of four input / single output. As a result of experiment, we identify efficiency of systems modeled with four input / single output through ordinary coherence function (OCF) and multiple coherence function (MCF).

Scaled-Energy Based Spectrum Sensing for Multiple Antennas Cognitive Radio

  • In this paper, for a spectrum sensing purpose, we heuristically established a test statistic (TS) from a sample covariance matrix (SCM) for multiple antennas based cognitive radio. The TS is formulated as a scaled-energy which is calculated as a sum of scaled diagonal entries of a SCM; each of the diagonal entries of a SCM scaled by corresponding row's Euclidean norm. On the top of that, by combining theoretical results together with simulation observations, we have approximated a decision threshold of the TS which does not need prior knowledge of noise power and primary user signal. Furthermore, simulation results - which are obtained in a fading environment and in a spatially correlating channel model - show that the proposed method stands effect of noise power mismatch (non-uniform noise power) and has significant performance improvement compared with state-of-the-art test statistics.

  • It is needed to assess the impact of the road traffic noise for city planning. In Korea, the current noise impact assessment h3s not yet considered the impacts of the multiple reflection, the deflection and the ground attenuation caused by buildings and other obstacles. A noise map is useful tool to solve this problems. But before everything else, suitability of noise map must be assessed for variety of geometry conditions. In this study, we assessed suitability of road traffic noise map by compared measured noise levels with predicted noise levels from each road traffic noise map for Site A, B and C.
