Cross-domain recommender system transfers knowledge across different domains to improve the recommendation performance in a target domain that has a relatively sparse model. However, they suffer from the "negative transfer" in which transferred knowledge operates as noise. This paper proposes a novel Multiple Fusion-based Deep Cross-Domain Recommendation named MFDCR. We exploit Doc2Vec, one of the famous word embedding techniques, to fuse data user-wise and transfer knowledge across multi-domains. It alleviates the "negative transfer" problem. Additionally, we introduce a simple multi-layer perception to learn the user-item interactions and predict the possibility of preferring items by users. Extensive experiments with three domain datasets from one of the most famous services Amazon demonstrate that MFDCR outperforms recent single and cross-domain recommendation algorithms. Furthermore, experimental results show that MFDCR can address the problem of "negative transfer" and improve recommendation performance for multiple domains simultaneously. In addition, we show that our approach is efficient in extending toward more domains.

In highly reliable and durable systems, failures due to aging might result in catastrophes. Aging monitoring techniques to prevent catastrophes by predicting such a failure are required. Aging can be monitored by performing a delay test at faster clocks than functional clock in field and checking the current delay state from the test clock frequencies at which the delay test is passed or failed. In this paper, we focus on test clock control scheme for a system-on-chip (SoC) with multiple clock domains. We describe limitations of existing at-speed test clock control methods and present an on-chip faster-than-at-speed test clock control scheme for intra/inter-clock domain test. Experimental results show our simulation results and area analysis. With a simple control scheme, with low area overhead, and without any modification of scan architecture, the proposed method enables faster-than-at-speed test of SoCs with multiple clock domains.
This research was designed to illuminate that work domains and family domains are not separated but interacting spheres and to suggest efficient coping strategies than alleviate work/family role conflicts. The subjects of this study were 395 employed professional wives living in Seoul. Korea. Survey methods were questionnaires. Data analysis strategies were percentile, frequency, one-way-anova and multiple classification analysis. The results were as follows; 1)Employed wives experienced time-based conflicts and strain-based role conflicts. This finding supports the scarcity approach that multiple roles inevitably create strain. 2) Individual, family and work-related variables were predictors of work/family role conflicts. This findings indicate that work domains and family domains cannot be regraded as separated spheres. 3) Employed wives tried to meet all the given roles demands not by reducing role responsibilities, but by increasing the efficiency of role performance. This finding reflects the characteristics of employed wives who try to perform successfully all the responsibilities. 4)The negative correlation of coping strategies and work/family role conflicts suggests that strategies can function effectively in alleviating the work/family role conflicts.

A separable identity-based ring signature scheme has been constructed as a fundamental cryptographic primitive for protecting user privacy. Using the separability property, ring members can be selected from arbitrary domains, thereby, giving a signer a wide range of ways to control privacy. In this paper we propose a generic method to construct efficient identity-based ring signature schemes with various levels of separability. We first describe a method to efficiently construct an identity-based ring signature scheme for a single domain, in which a signer can select ring identities by choosing from identities defined only for the domain. Next, we present a generic method for linking ring signatures constructed for a single domain. Using this method, an identity-based ring signature scheme with a compact structure, supporting multiple arbitrary domains can be designed. We show that our method outperforms the best known schemes in terms of signature size and computational costs, and that the security model based on the separability of identity-based ring signatures, presented in this paper, is highly refined and effective by demonstrating the security of all of the proposed schemes, using a model with random oracles.
Periostin, a component of extracellular matrix (ECM) protein, is produced and secreted by the fibroblasts that are involved in chronic allergic inflammation diseases and various types of human cancers. Periostin protein is composed of multiple domains including four FAS1 domains which play important roles in cell adhesion and tumor metastasis by interacting with integrins. In spite of their important biological role, the structural information of periosin FAS1 domains was not revealed yet. Recently we systemically prepared various constructs of the FAS1 domains and tried to express them in E. coli. Of them, only single FAS1-II and -IV domains were highly soluble. Circular dichroism (CD) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies revealed that the FAS1-IV domain might be suitable for three-dimensional structure determination using NMR spectroscopy.

Most of the existing Distributed Denial-of-Service mitigation schemes in Software-Defined Networking are only implemented in the network domain managed by a single controller. In fact, the zombies for attackers to launch large-scale DDoS attacks are actually not in the same network domain. Therefore, abnormal traffic of DDoS attack will affect multiple paths and network domains. A single defense method is difficult to deal with large-scale DDoS attacks. The cooperative defense of multiple domains becomes an important means to effectively solve cross-domain DDoS attacks. We propose an efficient multi-domain DDoS cooperative defense mechanism by integrating blockchain and SDN architecture. It includes attack traceability, inter-domain information sharing and attack mitigation. In order to reduce the length of the marking path and shorten the traceability time, we propose an AS-level packet traceability method called ASPM. We propose an information sharing method across multiple domains based on blockchain and smart contract. It effectively solves the impact of DDoS illegal traffic on multiple domains. According to the traceability results, we designed a DDoS attack mitigation method by replacing the ACL list with the IP address black/gray list. The experimental results show that our ASPM traceability method requires less data packets, high traceability precision and low overhead. And blockchain-based inter-domain sharing scheme has low cost, high scalability and high security. Attack mitigation measures can prevent illegal data flow in a timely and efficient manner.
This study analyzed the pattern of preschool children's abilities based on Project Spectrum and compared the relationship between intelligence domains with working styles of children. Generally, children showed both strengths and weaknesses in specific Spectrum domains, but some children had only strengths and others had only weaknesses without strengths. It appeared that working style does not relate to children's strong domains, but individual disposition was reflected by characteristics of the task. During both individual and group spectrum activities, children with strengths were more "easily engaged in activity", "confident", and "focused" than those without strong intelligence domains. During individual activities, the "reflective" domain showed children with strengths in intelligence domains are more reflective than those without strengths.

A method of the shape design sensitivity analysis based on the boundary integral equation formulation is presented for two-dimensional inhomogeneous thermal conducting solids with multiple domains. Shape variation of the external and interface boundary is considered. A sensitivity formula of a general performance functional is derived by taking the material derivative to the boundary integral identity and by introducing an adjoint system. In numerical analysis, state variables of the primal and adjoint systems are solved by the boundary element method using quadratic elements. Two numerical examples of a compound cylinder and a thermal diffuser are taken to show implementation of the shape design sensitivity analysis. Accuracy of the present method is verified by comparing analyzed sensitivities with those by the finite difference. As application to the shape optimization, an optimal shape of the thermal diffuser is found by incorporating the sensitivity analysis algorithm in an optimization program.
We consider the several plane sector domains which are bonded together along common edges with vertex at the origin. Such domains appear in electric conducting problem with multi-layered heterogeneous media. Our aim is to give a structure theorem of the singularities of the electric field at the corner. Also, we provide a regularity theorem for the electric field.
The purpose of this study is first to examine the relative influence of each error source and to investigate the optimal measurement conditions to ensure satisfactory multiple reliability coefficients based on the teaching aptitude and personality test for pre-service teachers. Participants were 33 students enrolled in mathematics education in a graduate school of education located in the Seoul metropolitan area from 2013 to 2017. The main results were as follows. First, the estimated variance due to residual was highest, followed by nesting of items within domains, graduate students, interactions of graduate students with domains, and domains. Second, total 96 items, with 12 domains containing 8 items in each domain, with cut score of 598, and original 210 items, with 14 domains containing 15 items in each domain, with cut scores of 615 or 716 were optimal measurement conditions to reach acceptable reliability levels based on the joint consideration of dependability coefficients, cut score dependability coefficients, adjusted dependability coefficients, and standard errors of measurement. Third, larger deviations between the arithmetic mean and the cut score indicated higher reliability coefficients of the test results. Finally, this study suggests ways for practitioners to consider how to apply generalizability theory for criterion-referenced tests and how to develop future research based on limitations.
