클라우드 컴퓨팅 파라다임을 통한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 관리 설계 (A Design of Multimedia Content Management through Cloud Computing Paradigm)

  • 사용 조절 모델은 보호된 컨텐츠의 사용에 대한 포괄적인 기술을 허용하는 새로운 접근 조절 모델의 시초이다. 이 범례에서 객체로의 접근에 관련된 결정은 요청 시간에만 제한되어있지 않다. 그것은 보호된 객체의 사용과 결합되며 사용과 병렬식으로 진행되는 지속적 처리가 된다. 사용 조절의 실현은 오랫동안 보안 문서의 전파에 있어서 조절 능력을 잃게 되는 문제를 해결하려한 연구 과제이다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 발현으로 문서들이 클라우드에 저장이 되고 문서를 보거나 편집할 수 있는 프로세서들이 클라우드안에 상주하며 문서들은 브라우저와 같은 신 클라이언트에 의해 접근이 가능해진다. 우리는 그러한 시나리오가 이해 당사자의 정책에 기반을 둔 문서 사용 보안에 대한 사용 조절의 실행에 있어 이상적인 기회를 제공하는 사실에 주목한다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 기반의 어플리케이션에서 더 나은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 실행하기 위한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 관리(MCM)를 제안한다. 그리고 클라우드 컴퓨터의 발현과 사용을 통해 보안된 객체의 사용에 있어 매끄러운 조절을 제공하기 위한 강력한 구성을 설계한다. 우리는 이러한 실현을 위해 설계 원칙을 기술하고 제안 구조를 논한다.

Research on the Application of VR Technology in Meteorological Simulation

  • Recent years, due to the direct or indirect damages caused by meteorological disasters more and more attention have been paid to natural disasters. At same time, diversified and multi-sensory interactive meteorological services is increasingly demanded. In this study, novel interactive meteorological service was compared with the traditional communication methods. Combining with case studies and systems creation, a virtual reality weather simulation framework was proposed, and a realistic virtual game environment providing real-time and historical weather information was created. The primary goal of this study is to build a weather display cabinet game system by using virtual reality technology, and promoting public's understanding of the principles of weather changes. With the interactive games in realistic scenarios, public's awareness for disasters prevention could be promoted. It is helping to change public's traditional understanding of meteorological theories, and will provide a more convenient way for the public to explore more effective weather forecasts. The simulation system is supported by VR technology. It was combined with Leap Motion interactive equipment to make popularization games for weather science. T-test data analysis showed that the application of VR technology in weather games has strong operability and interactivity.

  • The emergence of programs like Midjourney, particularly known for its text-to-image capability, has significantly impacted design and creative industries. Midjourney continually updates its database and algorithms to enhance user experience, with a focus on character consistency. This paper's examination of the latest V6 version of Midjourney reveals notable advancements in its characteristics and design principles, especially in the realm of character generation. By comparing V6 with its predecessors, this study underscores the significant strides made in ensuring consistent character portrayal across different plots and timelines.Such improvements in AI-driven character consistency are pivotal for storytelling. They ensure coherent and reliable character representation, which is essential for narrative clarity, emotional resonance, and overall effectiveness. This coherence supports a more immersive and engaging storytelling experience, fostering deeper audience connection and enhancing creative expression.The findings of this study encourage further exploration of Midjourney's capabilities for artistic innovation. By leveraging its advanced character consistency, creators can push the boundaries of storytelling, leading to new and exciting developments in the fusion of technology and art.

  • 네트워크 게임은 네트워크상의 분산된 사용자들이 경쟁과 협력을 통하여 결과를 만들어 가는 것으로서 공동작업의 한 형태로 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 그룹 통신 플랫폼을 사용하여 네트워크 게임을 수행하기 위한 요구사항을 정리하고 이러한 요구사항을 수용하는 데드 리커닝의 설계와 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 이러한 노력은 게임 개발의 생산성을 높여주고, 사용자간 대화기능 등을 활용하여 게임의 질을 높일 수 있다. 또한 다양한 망과 단말의 능력 또한 게임 제공자, 게임 그룹 생성자의 의견에 따라서 유연한 형태로 다양한 결과를 제공할 수 있다.

QFD와 TRIZ의 통합에 의한 설계 단계에서의 창의적 문제 해결 방안 (Integration of QFD and TRIZ to Solve the Inventive Problem in the Design Process)

  • QFD(Quality Function Deployment) is a very important tool to improve market share by reducing the gap between the voice of customer and the product's performance. But QFD is not a problem solving tool, although it is very useful in identifying what has to be solved or improved in order to meet the customer's desires. TRIZ has proved to be a very strong tool to solve the difficult problems that requires inventive thinking. QFD integrated with TRIZ becomes hot research recently. But merely linking between HOQ(House of Quality) in QFD and the contradiction matrix in TRIZ can not provide designers with a concrete method to solve the technical problem in the design process. Practically, the contradiction matrix and 40 inventive principles are not helpful for solving the technical problem. To solve the technical problem using TRIZ, a search for the tool and the object involved in the problem is made, from which the wanted result should be derived. A practical method to integrate QFD and TRIZ is proposed in this paper.

이시오까 에이꼬 석강영자(石岡瑛子)의 영화 의상에 나타난 디자인 특성에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Design Characteristic Shown in Movie Costume of Ishioka Eiko)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze movie costume of main character and find design characteristic and historical spirit focusing on the movie, in which Ishioka Eiko, Japanese movie costume designer constructing unique design world, participated. The study captured images of three movies such as , and with Digital Multimedia Converting System and analyzed them by focusing on the pictures showing designer's intention and design characteristic well among acquired 319 pictures. The costumes addressing movie costume designer's sense of values are recreated as future-oriented new works and are expressed as creative costumes by acquiring inspiration from past factors, dissolving them and applying up-to-date technology. Movie costume shall reflect historical spirit of our age as movie shows social cultural trend including fashion trend of manufactured age. Ishioka Eiko has searched for the design, which is proper for three principles such as 'be unique', 'be eternal' and 'be innovative' and from the result of analyzing movie costume, it is found that she showed characteristics of symbolism(transmission of the sensitivity), ornamentalism(effective representation as a decorative effect attention) and multiculturalism(harmony of time and culture) as well as uniqueness. The movie costume are different mutually and create new hybrid culture, in which different costume cultures are mixed with current costumes without the restriction to other culture. It is proper for the age of globalization and localization so it is expected that the multiculturalism will be enlarged more.

광통신망 구축의 효과적인 설계 및 MAC고려 요소 (The Efficiency Design & MAC Function of the Composition Optical Network)

  • The paper describes SR3 (Synchronous Round Robin with Reservations), a collision-free medium access control protocol for all-optical slotted packet networks based on WDM multi-channel ring topologies where nodes are equipped with one fixed-wavelength receiver and one wavelength-tunable transmitter SR3 is derived from the SRR and MMR protocols previously proposed by the same authors for the same class of all-optical networks. SRR and MMR already achieve an efficient exploitation of the available bandwidth, while guaranteeing a throughput-fair access to each node. SR3, In addition, allows nodes to reserve slots. thereby achieving a stronger control on access delays; it is thus well suited to meet tight delay requirements, as it is the case for multimedia applications. Simulation results show that SR3 provides very good performance to guaranteed qualify traffic, but also brings signigicant performance improvements for best-effort traffic. Energy effciency is an important issue for optical network since they must rely on their batteries. We present a novel MAC protocol that achieves a good energy efficiency of optical interface of the network and provides support for diverse traffic types and QoS. The scheduler of the base station is responsible to provide the required QoS to connections on the optical link and to minimise the amount of energy spend by the High speed Network. The main principles of the MaC protocol are to avoid unsuccessful actions, minimise the number of transitions , and synchronise the mobile and the base-station. We will show that considerable amounts of energy can be saved using these principles.

  • 본 연구는 인지 부하 이론에서 도출된 설계 원리를 적용하여 PDA를 활용한 학습 프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 인지 부하 이론에 따르면, 학습 프로그램은 학습자의 활성기억고 내의 인지 부하를 최적화하도록 설계되어야 한다. 최적화란 학습자의 활성기억고 내에 있는 인지 부하 중에서 학습에 효과적인 인지 부하를 높이거나 비효과적인 인지 부하를 낮춘 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 비효과적인 인지 부하 중 하나인 외재적 인지 부하를 낮추는 양식, 중복, 주의 분산 멀티미디어, 해결된 예 원리를 적용하여 PDA 기반 학습 프로그램을 개발함으로써 효과적인 모바일 학습 프로그램을 위한 가능성을 탐색해보았다.

  • Digital textbook project is one of government-driven project to improve education due to integrating technology. Digital textbook need to be universally designed to fit for each student. Recently, universal design for learning( UDL) gains great attention as one of promising approaches for the development of the digital textbook through giving various options and flexibility to all students. UDL has three main principles, first provide multiple means of representation, second provide multiple means of action and expression, third provide multiple means of engagement. The purpose of the study is to analyze fourth grade science textbook according to three UDL guidelines and suggest implications to improve an existing science textbook. The results indicated that fourth grade science digital textbook has been partly applied UDL guidelines like implementing multimedia and multi- mode contents, learning and communication tools, and motivation strategies. But options which students can choose according to their needs and styles are insufficient and tools for expression and communication need to enhance for helping each student to overcome his/her obstacles for learning and need to be more and elaborate to support learner-centered science digital textbook.

  • Today, further education of adults in the UK is one of the developing areas of continuing education. The Open University with distance learning, in the process of which innovative forms and methods based on computer and telecommunication technologies are used, is particularly successful in the organization of additional education of the adult population. The advantages of distance learning, multimedia - the latest information technologies, which provide the combination of graphic images, video, sound with the help of modern computer tools, are noted. The basic principles and forms underlying the technologies and forms of work with the elderly are defined. The international experience of implementing "Universities of the Third Age" is summarized. The most widespread approach in adult education in Great Britain is informational. The use of computer technologies motivates a new paradigm in educational methods and strategies, which requires new approaches, forms of learning, and innovative ways of delivering educational materials to adult learners. Information technologies have gained great popularity in such activities as distance learning, online learning, assistance in the education management system, development of programs and virtual textbooks in various subjects, online search for information for the educational process, computer testing of students' knowledge, creation of electronic libraries, formation of a single scientific electronic environment, publication of virtual magazines and newspapers on pedagogical topics, teleconferences, expansion of international cooperation in the field of Internet education. The information technology of synchronous distance learning "online" has gained considerable popularity in the educational process today. A promising direction is the use of multimedia technologies in educational activities to create a design of a virtual computer environment by decoding audiovisual information.
