The primary goal in this paper is to analyze urban growth patterns using multi-temporal remote sensing images and geographic information data. In order to accomplish this purpose, firstly data pre-processing is carried out, and then land-use maps are generated with ancillary data source by heads-up on-screen digitizing. Lastly, using the results of the previous stages, the patterns of land-use and urban changes are monitored by the proposed scheme. In this research, using the multi-temporal images and geographic information data, monitoring of urban growth was carried out with the application of urban land-use changes.

This study sought to understand the clothing consumption values of male consumers and analyze the attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores. The study examined the effect of clothing consumption values of male consumers on the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and use intention. The study also aimed to investigate whether online information search moderated the relationship between the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and use intention. An online survey of male consumers in their 20s and 30s was conducted, and a total of 338 responses were analyzed. The SPSS 24.0 program was used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and stepwise-regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, fashionableness out of the four attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores (fashionableness, entertainment, variety, and scarcity) influenced the practical and conspicuous values of clothing consumption values. Entertainment had a significant effect on all clothing consumption values. Variety had a significant impact on practical and conspicuous values and the scarcity factor influenced epistemic and conspicuous values. Second, while entertainment, variety, and scarcity influenced sharing intention, fashion, entertainment, and variety influenced purchase intention. Third, online information search moderated the relationship between the perceived attributes of online fashion multi-brand stores and sharing intention but not purchase intention.

This paper analyzes how levels of logistics standardization are related to logistics costs. The study surveyed ratios of standard pallet use in order to measure levels of firms' standardization in logistics management. Research focused on how firms' logistics costs were related to their levels of logistics standardization and ratios of standard pallet use. After measuring use of standard pallets and logistics costs, optimal levels of logistics standardization were estimated based on survey data. Logistics costs and standardization were more related to labor than to freight volume or export. Results indicated that firms could reduce logistics costs by raising levels of logistics standardization; optimal levels of standard pallet use out of Korean firms' total manufacturing cargo volume were estimated at 44.26% for multi-standard pallets and 57.99% for a single standard pallet (a unit load system). The study demonstrated that adopting a single standard pallet results in better cost saving logistics systems than use of multi-standard pallet types. These results may explain why firms pursue standardization in logistics systems.

The purpose of the study is to establish models of land use prediction system for development and management of land resources using remotely sensed data as well as ancillary data in the context of multi-disciplinary approach in the application to CheJoo Island. The model adopts multi-date processing techniques and is a spatial/temporal land-use projection strategy emerged as a synthesis of the probability transition model and the discriminant-annlysis model. A discriminant model is applied to all pixels in CheJoo landscape plane to predict the most likely change in land use. The probability transition model provides the number of these pixels that will convert to different land use in a gives future time increment. The synthetic model predicts the future change in land use and its volume of pixels in the landscape plane.

Multi-modal techniques have received increasing interest in the neuroscientific and brain computer interface (BCI) communities in recent times. Two aspects of multi-modal imaging for BCI will be reviewed. First, the use of recordings of multiple subjects to help find subject-independent BCI classifiers is considered. Then, multi-modal neuroimaging methods involving combined electroencephalogram and near-infrared spectroscopy measurements are discussed, which can help achieve enhanced and robust BCI performance.

In this paper, we propose a method for transmitting SMS(Short Message Service) for VoIP(Voice over IP) service supporting multi-protocol. The multi-protocol VoIP under consideration are generally composed of H.323, SIP and MGCP and Most ITSPs(Internet Telephony Service Provider) provide VoIP service with H.323 and SIP now. SMS is killer application in mobile telecom service and many people of various field use that service. For example, user can send many SMS messages and substitute e-mail. Also SMS can be provided with various internet application. Ahn, legacy phone of KT, can use SMS. Therefore VoIP phone also can be required with the same requirement. With the multi-protocol VoIP we will propose several methods sending efficiently SMS. To show the validity of the proposed method some examples are given in which the results can be expected by intuitive observation.

In this paper, we suggest a new space vector PWM modulation method with very short processing time which does not need identification of nearest three vectors(NTV) and duty ratio for each vector. The suggested PWM method makes mean value of phase voltage to be same as reference during every modulation period by use of a triangle in small hexagon on multi-level vector space. This paper described the suggested modulation method can be successfully applied to the space vector modulation use of multi-level inverter by computer simulations and experiments.

Online or sequential learning is one of the most basic and powerful method to train neuron network, and it has been widely used in disease detection, weather prediction and other realistic classification problem. At present, there are many algorithms in this area, such as MRAN, GAP-RBFN, OS-ELM, SVM and SMC-RBF. Among them, SMC-RBF has the best performance; it has less number of hidden neurons, and best efficiency. However, all the existing algorithms use signal normal distribution as kernel function, which means the output of the kernel function is same at the different direction. In this paper, we use multi-variable normal distribution as kernel function, and derive EKF learning formulas for multi-variable normal distribution kernel function. From the result of the experience, we can deduct that the proposed method has better efficiency performance, and not sensitive to the data sequence.

A MultiSIM software is very friendly tool that analysis of electronic circuits. The integrated capture and simulation is much easier to use and provides features that currently meet or exceed those of another capture and simulation tools. And actual hardware use the NI ELVIS to easily and quickly measure circuits and comparison and analysis of simulated actual data. In this paper, we introduce a combination of MultiSIM, the NI ELVIS, and NI LabVIEW and this combination gives to college and university a comprehensive, hands-on experience throughout the entire educational cycle.
