In regard to indoor air quality patterns, the government introduced various polices that were about managing and monitoring quality of indoor air as a major assignment, and also executed 'Indoor Air Quality Management Act' which was presented in the May, 2004. However, among the multi-usage facilities controlled by the Act, the school was not included yet. This study goal was to investigate PM 10 pollution patterns of the high school classrooms using a pattern recognition method based on cluster analysis and disjoint principal component analysis, and further to survey levels of inorganic elements in May, June, and September, 2004. A hierarchical clustering method was examined to obtain possible objects in pseudo homogeneous sample classes by transformation raw data and by applying various distance. Following the analysis, the disjoint principal component analysis was used to define homogeneous sample class after deleting outliers. Then three homogeneous Patterns were obtained as follows: the first class had been separated and objects in the class were considered to be sampled under semi-open condition. This class had high concentration of Ca, Fe, Mg, K, Al, and Na which are related with a soil and a chalk compounds. The second class was obtained in which objects were sampled while working air-conditioners and was identified low concentration of PM 10 and elements. Objects in the last class were assigned during rainy day. A chalk, soil element and various types of anthropogenic sources including combustions and industrial influenced the third class. This methodology was thought to be helpful enough to classify indoor air quality patterns and indoor environmental categories when controlling an indoor air quality.
In this paper, we present a robust global registration algorithm for multi-frame image mosaics. When we perform a pair-wise registration recovering a projective transformation between two consecutive frames, severe mis-registration among multiple frames, which are not consecutive, can be detected. It is because the concatenation of those pair-wise transformations leads to global alignment errors. To overcome those mis-registrations, we propose a new algorithm using multiple frames for constructing image mosaics. We use a graph to represent the temporal and spatial connectivity and show that global registration can be obtained through the search for an optimal path in the constructed graph. The definition of an adequate objective function characterizing the global registration provides a direct manipulation of the graph. In the presence of moving objects, especially large ones compared with low texture backgrounds, by using the likelihood ratio as the objective function, we can deal with some of the most challenging videos like basketball or soccer Moreover, the algorithm can be parallelized so it can be more efficiently implemented. Finally, we give some experimental results from real videos.
An algorithm to extract the 3-D geometric information of a static object was developed using a set of 2-D computer vision system and a laser structured lighting device. As a structured light pattern, multi-parallel lines were used in the study. The proposed algorithm was composed of three stages. The camera calibration, which determined a coordinate transformation between the image plane and the real 3-D world, was performed using known 6 pairs of points at the first stage. Then, utilizing the shifting phenomena of the projected laser beam on an object, the height of the object was computed at the second stage. Finally, using the height information of the 2-D image point, the corresponding 3-D information was computed using results of the camera calibration. For arbitrary geometric objects, the maximum error of the extracted 3-D feature using the proposed algorithm was less than 1~2mm. The results showed that the proposed algorithm was accurate for 3-D geometric feature detection of an object.
The octree model, a hierarchical volume description of 3D objects, nay be utilized to generate projected images from arbitrary viewing directions, thereby providing an efficient means of the data base for 3D object recognition and other applications. We present 2D projected image and made pseudo gray image of object using octree model and multi level boundary search algorithm. We present algorithm for finding feature points of 2D and 3D image and finding matched points using geometric transformation. The algorithm is made of data base, it will be widely applied to 3D object modeling and efficient feature points application for basic 3D object research.
C-ITS(Cooperative Intelligent Transport System) that pursues traffic safety and convenience uses various sensors to generate traffic information. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the sensor-related technology to increase the efficiency and reliability of the traffic information. Recently, the role of CCTV in collecting video information has become more important due to advances in AI(Artificial Intelligence) technology. In this study, we propose to identify and track dynamic objects(vehicles, people, etc.) in CCTV images, and to analyze and provide information about them in various environments. To this end, we conducted identification and tracking of dynamic objects using the Yolov4 and Deepsort algorithms, establishment of real-time multi-user support servers based on Kafka, defining transformation matrices between images and spatial coordinate systems, and map-based dynamic object visualization. In addition, a positional consistency evaluation was performed to confirm its usefulness. Through the proposed scheme, we confirmed that CCTVs can serve as important sensors to provide relevant information by analyzing road conditions in real time in terms of road infrastructure beyond a simple monitoring role.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm for generation of multi-view video from conventional 2 dimensional video. Color and motion information of an object are used for segmentation and from the segmented objects, multi-view video is generated. Especially, color information is used to extract the boundary of an object that is barely extracted by using motion information. To classify the homogeneous regions with color, luminance and chrominance components are used. A pixel-based motion estimation with a measurement window is also performed to obtain motion information. Then, we combine the results from motion estimation and color segmentation and consequently we obtain a depth information by assigning motion intensity value to each segmented region. Finally, we generate multi-view video by applying rotation transformation method to 2 dimensional input images and the obtained depth information in each object. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms comparing with conventional conversion methods.

Many commercial database systems maintain histograms to summarize the contents of relations, permit efficient estimation of query result sizes, and access plan costs. In spatial database systems, most query predicates consist of topological relationship between spatial objects, and ti is ver important to estimate the selectivity of those predicates for spatial query optimizer. In this paper, we propose a selectivity estimation scheme for spatial topological predicates based on the multi-dimensional histogram and the transformation scheme. Proposed scheme applies two partition strategies on transformed object space to generate spatial histogram, and estimates the selectivity of topological predicates based on the topological characteristic of transformed space. Proposed scheme provides a way for estimating the selectivity without too much memory space usage and additional I/Os in spatial query optimizer.
In this paper, we address the problem of improving the performance of multi-step k-NN search using multi-dimensional indexes. Due to information loss by lower-dimensional transformations, existing multi-step k-NN search solutions produce a large tolerance (i.e., a large search range), and thus, incur a large number of candidates, which are retrieved by a range query. Those many candidates lead to overwhelming I/O and CPU overheads in the postprocessing step. To overcome this problem, we propose two efficient solutions that improve the search performance by reducing the tolerance of a range query, and accordingly, reducing the number of candidates. First, we propose a tolerance reduction-based (approximate) solution that forcibly decreases the tolerance, which is determined by a k-NN query on the index, by the average ratio of high- and low-dimensional distances. Second, we propose a coefficient control-based (exact) solution that uses c k instead of k in a k-NN query to obtain a tigher tolerance and performs a range query using this tigher tolerance. Experimental results show that the proposed solutions significantly reduce the number of candidates, and accordingly, improve the search performance in comparison with the existing multi-step k-NN solution.
Even at this point in the era of digital transformation, we are still facing many problems in the safety sector that cannot prevent the occurrence or spread of human casualties. When you are in an unexpected emergency, it is often difficult to respond only with human physical ability. Human casualties continue to occur at construction sites, manufacturing plants, and multi-use facilities used by many people in everyday life. If you encounter a situation where normal judgment is impossible in the event of an emergency at a life site where there are still many safety blind spots, it is difficult to cope with the existing manual guidance method. New variable guidance technology, which combines artificial intelligence and digital twin, can make it possible to prevent casualties by processing large amounts of data needed to derive appropriate countermeasures in real time beyond identifying what safety accidents occurred in unexpected crisis situations. When a simple control method that divides and monitors several CCTVs is digitally converted and combined with artificial intelligence and 3D digital twin control technology, intelligence augmentation (IA) effect can be achieved that strengthens the safety decision-making ability required in real time. With the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Enterprise Punishment Act, the importance of distributing a smart location guidance system that urgently solves the decision-making delay that occurs in safety accidents at various industrial sites and strengthens the real-time decision-making ability of field workers and managers is highlighted. The smart location guidance system that combines artificial intelligence and digital twin consists of AIoT HW equipment, wireless communication NW equipment, and intelligent SW platform. The intelligent SW platform consists of Builder that supports digital twin modeling, Watch that meets real-time control based on synchronization between real objects and digital twin models, and Simulator that supports the development and verification of various safety management scenarios using intelligent agents. The smart location guidance system provides on-site monitoring using IoT equipment, CCTV-linked intelligent image analysis, intelligent operating procedures that support workflow modeling to immediately reflect the needs of the site, situational location guidance, and digital twin virtual fencing access control technology. This paper examines the limitations of traditional fixed passive guidance methods, analyzes global technology development trends to overcome them, identifies the digital transformation properties required to switch to intelligent variable smart location guidance methods, explains the characteristics and components of AI-based public facility smart fire safety integrated system (ISFS).
The purpose of this study is to analyze modern fashion culture in the 20th century through changes in transmedia in order to better understand characteristics of fashion contents. The study also strived to identify the characteristics of remediation in modern fashion and media by exploring the cultural code, and use it to establish an integrated view. The subjects and the method of the study are as follows. First, the study analyzed the development of transmedia and fashion culture since the 20th century. Second, it identified the transitional characteristics of transmedia. Third, the study analyzed the characteristics of remediation in modern fashion culture by using the characteristics of mediation, which appeared with the transitional characteristics of transmedia. The study results are as follows. First, the types of remediation are 'borrowing,' 'Representation,' 'Expansion,' 'Refashion,' and 'Absorb.' In old and new media, each type can be aesthetically experienced in 'transparency,' opaqueness,' 'Hypermediacy,' and 'Immediacy.' Second, fashion culture can undergo a transformation from its original form to a second and a third iteration, and this process allows for possibility of an expansion of multiple plots and well-rounded character settings. This opens up the possibility for fashion consumer participation, and signifies a transition into an environment where expansion of time and space is possible. The third finding is the non-mediation of fashion objects. The mediating relationship between clothes and media is directly connected to the development of new media. The immersion of new media by fashion consumers has the characteristics of 'transparency'/'Non-mediation,' and the reinterpretation and reproduction of original fashion styles have the characteristics of 'opaqueness'/'Hyper-mediation.' Fourth, fashion culture has data variability. Through 'Borrowing,' 'Representation,' 'Expansion,' 'Remodeling,' and 'Absorption,' the cultural hierarchy of reproduced fashion forms a multi-layered integrated network. Mediation code, which repurposes fashion culture contents, also creates new media fashion through transmedia.
