For face recognition system, a face detector which can find exact face region from complex image is needed. Many face detection algorithms have been developed under the assumption that background of the source image is quite simple . this means that face region occupy more than a quarter of the area of the source image or the background is one-colored. Color-based face detection is fast but can't be applicable to the images of which the background color is similar to face color. And the algorithm using neural network needs so many non-face data for training and doesn't guarantee general performance. In this paper, A multi-scale, multi-face detection algorithm using PCA is suggested. This algorithm can find most multi-scaled faces contained in static images with small number of training data in reasonable time.

범죄 현장에서 발견되는 증거물에서 지문을 현출하는 다양한 방법이 있다. 다양한 기법 중에 증거물의 상태와 조건에 따라 가장 적합한 것을 적용해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 여러 색상으로 이루어진 복잡한 배경의 표면에 유류된 지문을 현출할 수 있는 법광원 이용 기법 세 가지를 비교하여 보았다. 색상, 표면의 모양, 표면의 질감에 따라 다양한 검체를 선정하였으며 형광 분말, 적외선 사진 촬영, 에피스코픽 동축 조명을 이용하여 잠재지문을 현출하였다. 형광 분말은 모든 표면에서 지문과 배경의 대조비가 커서 좋은 결과를 보였고 IR사진 촬영은 지문과 배경의 대조가 뚜렷하게 관찰되었으나 검정색이 포함된 배경에서는 대조비가 떨어졌다. 에피스코픽 동축 조명 촬영은 광택이 있는 평면 표면에서만 좋은 결과를 나타냈다. 전반적으로 형광 분말이 표면의 특성에 관계없이 지문 현출 효과가 우수하였으나 특정 표면에서는 IR사진 촬영이 더 뛰어나다는 것을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to set up the theoretical foundation for neon colors by recognizing them as important elements of sensitive design and by comprehending their existence as a color fashion responsive to psychological and social background. As the subject of the present the researcher has selected important oversea collections of these five years during which neon colors have fully emerged as popular colors of fashion. The procedure of research was to examine the concept and traits of colors and investigate the utility of neon colors in various fields. The important facts which are acquired from the present study are as follows. First, the analysis of frequency has found out the following color arrangements: neon color only-8.6%(35), neon color+colorless-58.3%(236), neon color+ colored -14.8%(60),neon color+colorless+colored-18.3%(74), and others. The case of neon color used as monochromatic (color) was distinguished into two: single neon color all through and the same color used differently. Color arrangements were divided into analogous arrangement, separation arrangement, dominant arrangement, multi-color arrangement, and accent arrangement. Second, the internal significance of neon colors expressed in fashion can be interpreted into three: emphasis, optical Illusion, and amusing. This study has attempted to raised up the aesthetic value of various color expression and to expand fashion image by interpreting the trends of color fashion together with the traits and aesthetic meaning of color in fashion. The future study intends to expand the expression area of fashion design and to interpret molding beauty through the image of color arrangement and through fashion style utilizing neon colors.

This study has it's purpose in examining the materialized background. characteristic of African traditional costume and the A fro fashion of the year 1960. and it's influence on the contemporary fashion. Then the findings are applied to suggest a new way of image creation. 1960' s was the year in which people tried to free oneself from the ruling culture of the social standards. war. and the development of science. By such movement. people started to get interested in the environment and ecology. This then lead to the interest of the rights of the minority. With the youngs as the central figure A fro hair style and dashiki appeared as the street fashion. The characteristics of African costume applied to A fro fashion in 1990' s is as below. First. the North African style. Djellaba. and wrap style in the most common silhouette. Second. heavy materials such as stone. copper. silver. and gold are used. Necklace can be classified according to it's simple but. modern style. delicate but grand style. Bracelets are however. broad in width and many rings are worn widely. Third. Multi colored stripe and prints inspired by tattoo and deformation using red brown. dark beige. and orange are printed on textiles such as see through. Fourth. image of tattoo and deformation are applied to make-up. A fro hair and corn beads are also African taste. Fifth. African taste in recent fashion showed off the black beauty by appointing black models at the collection. In analyzing the study done above. characteristic images of African costume. accessaries and body painting was applied in presenting 3 creative designs. The first design named "Geometric I", took it's motif from the geometric pattern of the body painting with the afro hair. "Geometric II", the second design, showed it's application of geometric pattern of mutilation and the silhouette of the costume by using the see through. The third design called the "Geometric III" showed that the aesthetic and decorative side of clothing can be satisfied by applying various form and color of accessaries as the motif. A fro fashion is chosen as one of the folklore mood and it's beauty is conveyed on till today.

가시광통신(VLC)은 가까운 장래에 각광받을 무선 통신 기술로서 전자파 간섭 없이 무료로 넓은 대역폭을 사용할 수 있기 때문에 RF에 민감한 운용 환경에 유용성이 매우 기대된다. 무선통신에 제약을 받는 병원 등에서 의료장비들 운용에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있는 음성인식 시스템을 포함한 LED 기반의 VLC 시스템을 제안한다. 특히 주변 빛에 의한 잡음 영향을 극복하기 위해 색채공간을 기반으로 한 새로운 변조기법을 제안하고, 또한 BER을 줄이기 위해 심벌 수에 따른 다양한 색채공간 성좌도의 가능성을 제시한다. 끝으로 VLC에서의 다중 사용자 접속을 위해 Slotted ALOHA 및 TDMA MAC 프로토콜의 정당성을 기술하였다.

The achievement of notable social reoforms attained during the period of 19th and 20th centuries needlessly speaking remodelded the social environmental into several different patterns such as :1) high industrialization 2) propensity to consume 3) up graded overall social stands. Accordingly the industrial world of the but-tons too established the mess production syhstem by breaking from convention of hand-craft work of 17th century. The raw materials used in the production line on buttons during the 20th century are almost all-kind of materials one can possibly named including cheap plastic which enabled production lines to produce cheaper but higher productivities of the buttons being produced, The design (incused design) used in the 19-20h centuries are : men landscape, sports features, birds, livestocks, bugs, or geomatric features, tec, 1, The classification o f the buttons by materials Techniques shapes colors marking (Incused design) used in the productionof buttons in the England United States of America Laska Italy france Denmark Japan and India are categolizzed as : natural raw materials and syntetical resines. 1) Of the natural raw materials used are : Matal Enamel Iodine Agate, Coral, Green jade(Jasper) Granite, Wood, Ivory, Horn and bone etc. 2) The sythetical resin used in the button in-dustries are : Artificial jewell glass Acrylic material Styroform Celluloid and Nylon etc. 2. The thecnique quoted in producing buttons are hand craft work inlay work precision casting press mosic dye etching, processing, engraving and embossed carving etc. 3. The major designs used in the buttons in -dustries are : Round shape however elliptical column angular and edge shape often used. 4. The colors used are : The multi-colors were highly used than mono-colored materials such as : Adjoining Color and Contrast Color. The highest consideration to be considered in choosing the colors for the buttons are harmonization and matching factor with the garment or dresses to be wore. 5. The major design(incused design) on the buttons are embodiment and the design were also used in order of abstractive-combination abstractive with has offers much surprising. The button industries during the 19th and 20th centuries were not only the determination factors those can judge the value of self-pride of Nation and which were far beyond the in-dustrial arts in those days but also highly refelected and influenced by cultural sense ideology and self-pride of the Nation of those period. The followings are details of the role of the buttons categolized in the order of functional ornamental and symbolical aspects : 1. The functional role : The functional role of the buttons were simply designed for dress how-ever the buttons beyond from this role of function now a days. 2. The ornamental role : The ornamental role of he button beyond from this role of the button were effectuated by : 1) shape materials colors 2) technique locations size and design (incused design) 3) The ramaterials used for buttons shall not be over looked because it is highly depends on the taste sense and combination of harmony with the garment to be wore. 4) The color of the buttons are made well contrasted with the color of garments just as in the case of other artistical area such as matchs with the color of garment of contrast with brigtness of colors contrasted as complementary color and so and so. 5) The technique being adoped are: precision casting press handcraft inlay work etching mosic etc,. Since the buttons are no longer a simple catching devise used to fasten together the different part of the dress but now it has formed own and occupied the independent role in the garment or dresses location can be de-termined and varying depending on the ideas of designers. The size of the buttons has no specific limits, However the variation has widely dependined on the entire circumperence rhythm contrast harmonization of the garments. 3. The symbolical role : Since the button is no longer a just a simple devise for catching and fastening device used fastening together the different part of the garments but now were built a independent area as major part of the Garment and well reflected all kinds of occupations political background cultural as-pect etc. on the buttons. The design of buttons in the western circles are more simplified but they are polished looks and their techniques of manufacturing are comination of both machanis and handcraft. The colors used in the buttons are pretty well harmonized with garment(dress). Almost all kind of materials can be used in the but-tons however materials used in the buttons are : Bone of livestocks ivory, turtle shell are no longer used because the prevention of cruely of animal. On the contraly the level of buttons indus-try of Korea is far to reach and catch up with the level of western circles. It is highly suggested therefore the but-tons industrial field of Republic of Korea shall place and encouragement in producing beter industrial environment of the buttons based on the traditional and cultural aspect of republic of Korea to produce both manufacturing of qulified and best designed and colored buttons.
