EDF 모델링을 이용한 저궤도위성 다중 출력 컨버터 설계 및 검증 (Low-earth orbiting satellite multi-output converter design and verification by using EDF modeling)

  • 위성의 전력 시스템은 전력의 생산, 변환 및 분배를 담당하는 주요한 시스템으로, 임무 수명뿐 아니라 임무 횟수, 시기 등의 설계에 사용된다. 이중 전력의 변환을 담당하는 변압기의 부하와 입력 조건에 따라 안정화 설계가 이루어 져야 하지만, 실지 궤도상에서 Test 및 check-out을 진행할 수 없는 특성으로 다양한 입출 조건 변화에 대한 성능 및 안전성을 확인하기위한 방법이 요구된다. 일반적으로 위성 컨버터는 다양한 부하 조건에 따라 설계되므로, 부피 및 설계의 효율성을 위해 다중 출력 및 여러 개의 stage를 거쳐서 전력 변환이 이루어지게 된다. 하지만, 이로 인해 분석에 많은 어려움을 지니게 되어 직관적인 회로의 파악은 쉽지 않게 된다. 또한 일반적인 분석으로는 모든 상태 방적식의 해를 구하기 쉽지 않아서 실제 운용 시에 가해질 수 있는 소자에 대한 영향성에 대한 분석이 힘들 수 있게 된다. EDF model은 fundamental 주파수 분석을 통해 모든 소자에 대한 분석이 가능한 방법이며 multi-stage의 경우에도 입력 모델링으로 한꺼번에 1st stage와 2nd stage의 분석이 가능한 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 EDF 방법을 통한 modeling과 시뮬레이션 modeling을 비교하여 적용의 타당성을 분석하고, 이를 통해 제어기를 설계하여 multi-stage 컨버터의 직관적인 회로 분석이 가능함을 확인 하였다.

  • This paper is focused on the optimum design for decreasing volume and increasing reliability of multi-stage gear drive. For the optimization on volume and reliability, multi-objective optimization is used. The genetic algorithm is introduced to multi-objective optimization method and it is used to develop the optimum design program using exterior penalty function method to solve the complicated subject conditions. A 5 staged gear drive(geared motor) is chosen to compare the result of developed optimum design method with the existing design. Each of the volume objective, reliability objective, and volume-reliability multi-objectives are performed and compared with existing design. As a result, optimum solutions are produced, which decrease volume and increase reliability. It is shown that the developed design method is good for multi-stage gear drive design.

3단 응축 고온/고효율 열펌프의 전산해석 (Compute simulation of a three-stage condensation heat pump)

  • In this study, the performance of a multi-stage condensation heat pump was examined. Computer simulation programs were developed for 1-stage, 2-stage, and 3-stage heat pumps and R11, R123, R141b were tested as working fluids. The results showed that coefficients of performance(COPs) of an optimized 3-stage condensation heat pump are 25∼40% higher than those of a conventional 1-stage heat pump. The increase in COP, however, differed among the fluids tested. The improvement in COP largely stems from the decrease in average LMTD values in the condensers of the multi-stage system. For the 3-stage condensation heat pumps, optimized UA values of three condensers were determined to be 30∼40% of the UA value of the total condenser regardless of the working fluid. When the amount of cooling water entering into the intermediate and high-stage subcoolers is roughly 10% of the total condenser cooling water respectively, the optimum performance was achieved for the 3-stage condensation heat pump.

중금속[Cu(II), Zn(II)]의 분리 및 농축을 위한 역삼투 판틀형 모듈의 적용 (Application of Reverse Osmosis Plate and Frame Type for Separation and Concentration Heavy Metal[Cu(II), Zn(II)])

  • This study was focused on experiment for the separation and concentration process of Cu(II), Zn(II) solution with the variation of applied pressure and concentration using reverse osmosis plate and frame modules. Rejection coefficient and degree of concentration for Cu(II) component using single and multi-stage reverse osmosis process were showed 96.3~97.8%, 0.044~0.191(in single-stage), 96.3~98.4%, 0.400~2.264(in multi-stage) within the range of experimental condition, respectively. Those of Zn(II) were 93.3~97.1%, 0.019~0.395(in single-stage), 96.3~98.2%, 0.365~1.454(in multi-stage), respectively. Degree of concentration of multi-stage were higher than those of single-stage. Heavy metal[Cu(II), Zn(II)] separation was very efficient in using reverse osmosis plate and frame type modules. Separation efficiency for a mixed solution Cu(II) and Zn(II) was higher than those of each one of Cu(II) and Zn(II).

알루미늄 판재의 다단계 드로잉에 있어서 원통컵의 치수 정밀도 비교 (Dimensional Accuracy of Cylindrical Cups in Multi-Stage Drawing of Aluminum Sheet Metal)

  • Deep drawing of cylindrical cups is one of the most fundamental and important processes in sheet metal forming. Circular cups are widely used in industrial fields such as automobile and electronic appliances. Some of these cups are formed by a one-stage process, others such as battery cases and beverage cans are made by a multi-stage process. In the current study the multi-stage deep drawing of aluminum sheet metal is examined. The process consists of two deep drawing operations followed by two ironing operations. The press die, which can be used for the four-stage forming process, was manufactured allowing punch and die components to be easily changed for various experiments. The rolling direction of both the sheet and the drawn cups was always positioned toward the horizontal x-direction on the die face to minimize experimental errors during the progressive forming. The dimensional accuracy of the cylindrical cups formed at each stage and the earing defect due to the anisotropy of sheet were investigated. The influence of anisotropy on the thickness distribution was also examined. Both the thickness and the outer diameter of the cups were measured and compared for each set of experimental conditions. It was found that the dimensional accuracy of cups rapidly improves by employing the ironing process and also by increasing the amount of ironing.

  • 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 로켓의 자동점화를 위한 다단 방식의 촉매점화시스템에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 다단 촉매점화기의 열분해 성능을 평가하기 위해 1단 점화기에 촉매를 충전하여 예열 후, 1단 점화기와 2단 점화기에 각각 저유량과 고유량을 공급하여 실험을 진행하였다. 이때 저유량의 $N_2O$가스를 분해하여 생성된 고온의 가스로 고유량의 $N_2O$가스를 분해하였다. 실험 결과 기존 점화기보다 점화 시간이 감소되었다. 또한 1단 점화기에서 분해된 가스를 이용하여 2단 점화기에 공급된 고유량 $N_2O$가스의 분해 가능성을 확인하였다.

4자유도 모션이 가능한 복합 무대 시스템 개발 (Development of the Multi-stage System with 4 DOF)

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 무대연출이 가능한 전(Omni)방향 이동무대와 수직 상승 무대로 구성된 복합형 무대 시스템의 설계 및 제어 방법에 대해 제안하였다. 복합 무대 시스템은 전후/좌우/회전 등 3 자유도 모션의 이동무대와 1 자유도 상/하 모션의 상승 무대 등 총 4 자유도 동작이 가능하도록 개발 되었다. 이동무대는 2개의 구동 휠과 조향 휠 구조로 설계하여 기존 차동 방식의 이동무대에 비해 기동성을 높였으며, 상승무대는 전고대비 수식 상승비가 10배 이상 가능하도록 맞물림 방식의 구조로 설계하였다. 또한, 공연연출에 필요한 모션 구현을 위해 경로계획 방법과 계획된 경로를 추종하기 위한 제어방법에 대해서도 제안하였다. 그리고 복합형 무대 시스템의 수평 이동 및 수식 상승 등 복합 모션 실험을 통해 그 성능을 검증하였으며, 공연 공간 디자인 도록을 제시하여 개발된 시스템이 공연에서 다양한 연출에 활용이 가능함을 보였다.

중력에 의해 진동하는 2단 축방향 전개 보의 유한요소 모델링 (Finite Element Modeling of 2-stage Axially Deploying Beams Vibrating Under Gravity)

  • Multi-stage deploying beams are useful for transporting parts or products handling in production lines. However, such multi-stage beams are often exposed to unwanted vibration due to the presence of their flexibility and time-varying properties. This paper is concerned with dynamic modeling and analysis of 2-stage axially deploying beams under gravity by using the finite element method. A variable domain finite element method is employed to develop the dynamic model. A rigorous method to account for engagement of two-stage beams during the deploying procedure is introduced by breaking the entire domain into three variable domains. Several deploying strategies are tested to analyze the residual vibrations. Several examples are illustrated to investigate the self-induced damping and the effects of deploying strategy on the vibrations.

  • In this paper, a multi-step optimization using a G.A. (Genetic Algorithm) with variable penalty function is introduced to the structural design optimization of a 5-head route machine. Our design procedure consist of two design optimization stage. The first stage of the design optimization is static design optimization. The following stage is dynamic design optimization stage. In the static optimization stage, the static compliance and weight of the structure are minimized simultaneously under some dimensional constraints and deflection limits. On the other hand, the dynamic compliance and the weight of the machine structure are minimized simultaneously in the dynamic design optimization stage. As the results, dynamic compliance of the 5-head router machine was decreased by about 37% and the weight of the structure was decreased by 4.48% respectively compared with the simplified structure model.

초경 다단 다이를 적용한 냉간 압조용 인발 선재 제조 (Fabrication of Drawing Wire for Cold Rolling Mill using Tungsten Carbide Multi-Stage Dies)

  • Wire drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the cross-section of a wire by pulling the wire through multi-stage drawing dies. The aim of this study is to fabricate a drawing wire using 2 stage drawing process. The finite element analysis of wire drawing was conducted to validate the efficiency of the designed process and the experiment was performed to validate the designed wire drawing process using 2 stage tungsten carbide die. Dry lubricant with powder was applied for producing a wire of desired diameter. Finally, a drawing wire using 2 stage die for cold rolling mill was developed.
