분말사출성형으로 제조된 다극 이방성 SF-폐라이트 소결자석 (Mu7i-pole anisotropic Sr-ferrite sintered magnets fabricated by powder injection molding)

  • Multi-pole anisotropic Sr-fertile sintered magnets has been studied by powder injection molding under applied magnetic field. The orientation of anisotropic Sr-ferrite powders higher than 80% during injection molding is achieved at the following conditions; apparent viscosity lower then 2500 poise in 1000 sec$\^$-1/ shear rate and applied magnetic field higher then 4 kOe. For the high fluidity and strength of injection molded compact, and the effective binder removal without defects during solvent extraction and thermal debinding, the optimum multi-binder composition is paraffin wax(PW)/carnauba wax(CW)/HDPE = 50/25/25 wt%. The rate of binder removal is proportional to the mean particle size of Sr-ferrite powders whereas it is inversely proportional to the content of Sr-ferrite powders and the sample thickness. The high magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite sintered magnets are; 3.8 kG of remanent flux density, 3.4 kOe of intrinsic coercivity, and 1.2 kG of surface flux density (1-mm-thick) in the direction of applied magnetic field.

회전자 돌극 설계를 이용한 다극 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 토크리플 저감 연구 (Study of the Reduction of Torque Ripples for Multi-pole Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors using Rotor Saliency)

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자동차용 견인전동기로서의 다극 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 회전자 돌극 설계에 의한 토크리플 개선 방안을 연구하였다. 다극 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 경우 영구자석에서 발생되는 자속이 고정자에 쇄교되지 않고 회전자 브릿지를 통해 누설되는 자속이 크다. 이러한 누설자속을 줄여 출력밀도를 향상시키고 토크리플을 저감하기 위해 영구자석 사이의 회전자 표면에 슬릿을 적용하였다. 슬릿에 적용되는 두 설계 파라미터를 제안하고 반응표면법을 이용하여 토크리플 감소와 출력 향상 최대화 설계를 수행하였다. 자속의 포화를 고려하기 위해 본 논문에서는 2차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 특성해석을 수행하고 이를 분석하였다.

STRONG GRAVITATIONAL LENSES AND MULTI-WAVELENGTH GALAXY SURVEYS WITH AKARI, HERSCHEL, SPICA AND EUCLID

  • Submillimetre and millimetre-wave surveys with Herschel and the South Pole Telescope have revolutionised the discovery of strong gravitational lenses. Their follow-ups have been greatly facilitated by the multi-wavelength supplementary data in the survey fields. The forthcoming Euclid optical/near-infrared space telescope will also detect strong gravitational lenses in large numbers, and orbital constraints are likely to require placing its deep survey at the North Ecliptic Pole (the natural deep field for a wide class of ground-based and space-based observatories including AKARI, JWST and SPICA). In this paper I review the current status of the multi-wavelength survey coverage in the NEP, and discuss the prospects for the detection of strong gravitational lenses in forthcoming or proposed facilities such as Euclid, FIRSPEX and SPICA.

Optimal Rotor Shape Design of Asymmetrical Multi-Layer IPM Motors to Improve Torque Performance Considering Irreversible Demagnetization

  • A study on the multi-objective optimization of Interior Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motors (IPMSMs) with 2, 3, 4 and 5 flux barriers per magnetic pole, based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) is presented by considering the aspect of irreversible demagnetization. Applying the 2004 Toyota Prius single-layer IPMSM as the reference machine, the asymmetrical two-, three-, four- and five-layer rotor models with the same amount of Permanent-Magnets (PMs) is presented to improve the torque characteristics, i.e., reducing the torque pulsation and increasing the average torque. A reduction of the torque pulsations is achieved by adopting different and asymmetrical flux barrier geometries in each magnetic pole of the rotor topology. The demagnetization performance in the PMs is considered as well as the motor performance; and analyzed by using finite element method (FEM) for verification of the optimal solutions.

  • When the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV) initially rise, The MAGLEV has a weak point that is very large variation of the electric current. In this paper, The author applied the multi-loop-control to stably control the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV). The gains of the control algorithm were selected based on pole locations formulated from a prototype Bessel transfer function model. The design incorporate tradeoffs in DC-to-DC converter hard-ware para-meters and pole locations. In order to confirm the superiority of the proposed pole selection and controller, MATLAB simulation and experiment results are presented.

A Study on Development Direction of Smart Pole for Smart City Construction

  • Smart pole is one of mega trend in smart city development. It has multi-function to get as much as data from the street to better city management. And smart street lighting of smart pole as core part of smart city development is being implemented by many cities in globally. Refer to the latest edition of Navigant Research's Smart City Tracker includes smart city projects in 221 cities, a quarter of which are deploying smart street lighting ranging from initial pilots to citywide and regional deployments that span tens and even hundreds of thousands of lights. The most important feature of smart street lighting solution is "Connectivity" through the IoT technology. In order to implement the smart city, we should have so-called intelligent watchdog and mesh networked post for keeping the various smart city technology development progress and operation properly. Smart street lighting solution could be main infrastructure as an enabler for a range of smart city applications. We can talk about the expected role of smart street lighting for the smart city development on this paper.

북극해 항로시대와 강원권 항만의 복합운송 물류네트워크 구축전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multi-modal Transport Logistics Network Buildup of Harbors in Gangwon in the North Pole Route Era)

  • 본 연구는 최근까지 이루어진 북극해 항로 관련 선행연구에 대한 고찰을 바탕으로 강원권 항만의 이니셔티브에 대한 분석을 통해 북극해 항로시대에 유라시아에서 한반도 전체의 물류효율화를 위한 강원권 항만의 복합운송 물류네트워크 구축 전략을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강원권 지역의 철도 중심의 교통인프라 확충 노력을 지속적으로 시도해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 강원도 항만들의 기능을 1항 1특화 기능으로 분담하고 철도중심의 배후 교통망을 이용하여 항만들 간의 연계성을 강화시킬 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 강원도 동해안에 지정된 EFEZ의 산업개발과 북한 극동러시아, 북극해의 자원을 연결하는 전략을 지속적으로 추진해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 국내 극지 탐사선인'아라온 호'의 출항 기지를 유치하여 강원도 항만들이 북극해 항로에 대한 선제적 역할을 수행할 수 있는 기회를 만들어야 할 것이다. 다섯째, 현재 건설 중인 삼척 LNG 기지의 역할을 지속적으로 강화시켜 나가야 할 것이다. 여섯째, 탄소배출을 최소화 할 수 있는 친환경 수송기술 도입에 대해서도 적극적인 검토가 요구되어 진다. 마지막으로, 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 수도권(광역 경제권) ${\leftrightarrow}$ 강원권 도로, 철도 ${\leftrightarrow}$ 강원권 항만 ${\leftrightarrow}$ TSR, 북극해 항로 ${\leftrightarrow}$ 유럽을 연결하는 최적의 북방 물류 루트를 개척하는 것이 가까운 장래 국가 무역경쟁력을 강화 시키는 지름길이라 생각되어진다.

FDTD 방법과 분수 함수 근사법을 이용한 다층 구조에서의 Green 함수 근사화 (Approximate Method of Multi-Layer Green's Function Using FDTD Scheme and Rational Function Approximation)

  • 본 논문에서는 1차원 모드 방정식의 FDTD 해석 결과와 분수 함수 근사법을 이용하여 다층 구조의 Green 함수를 근사화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 파수 값에 따른 FDTD 해석 결과를 Fourier 변환 과정을 거쳐 spectral domain 상에서 Green 함수를 계산한다. FDTD 수치 해석 결과로 얻은 Green 함수에 분수 함수 근사법을 적용하여 pole과 residue를 계산하여 Green 함수를 분수 함수로 근사화 한다. 제안된 방법은 path-loss 계산 방법 중 하나인 정상 모드(normal mode)에 사용할 수 있다. 단일 주파수 해석에 유효한 기존의 정상 모드 방법과는 달리 본 논문에서 제안하는 FDTD 기반 방법은 광대역 해석을 할 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 유용성을 입증하기 위해 정상 모드 해석기반의 Kraken 시뮬레이터 결과와 공진 모드의 pole 값을 비교한다. 또 알려진 해석해를 갖는 문제에 제안된방법을 적용하여 정확도를 검증하였다.

부분 음영에서의 태양광 발전 효율을 높이기 위한 MPPT 전략 (MPPT Strategy to Improve Photovoltaic Power Generation Efficiency in Partial Shadows)

  • In order to increase the power generation efficiency of the photovoltaic system, a new algorithm that can follow the maximum power point of the photovoltaic power generation system having nonlinear output characteristics is proposed. Conventional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms such as Perturbation and Observation (P&O) and InCond (Increment and Conductance) schemes can not find the global maximum power point at a plurality of pole points in the unmatched state of unbalanced PV modules. However, even if the global maximum power point is found at a plurality of pole points, the global maximum power that can not be the real maximum power by the photovoltaic generation system. In order to solve this problem, a few PV companies propose installing several small PV inverters instead of if big one. However, since this will require additional costs, we herein propose a Multi-MPPT system using individual 3-point MPPT to track true MPPT at a plurality of pole points in the unmatched state of unbalanced PV modules.

파이프 골조 온실의 조립 연결구 내력 시험 (Experimental Analysis on Yield Strength of Pipe Connectors and Joints for Pipe Framed Greenhouses)

  • Experiments on the yield strength of pipe connectors made of metal wire, joint pins, pole pipes, multi span insertion joints, and T-clamp joints used in pipe houses were conducted. The strength of connections of a pipe connector made of metal wire was adequate but it had a big difference according to loading direction. Therefore as it is installed, its direction should be taken into consideration. The collapse load of pipes connected with a joint pin was lower than that of single pipes. In the part of frame member at which the great bending moment occurs, the use of joint pin should be avoided. Also experimental results showed that pole pipes for use in a part of frame buried under the ground were safe, and the strength of multi span insertion joints should be increased. The resistant moment of T-clamp was about 13.7% of a single pipe. In case that the external forces acting on left and right rafter are different. a unsymmetrical rotational force is produced at the multi span joint. If it is expected that the actual bending moment on the multi span joint is larger than resistant moment of T-clamp, a reinforcement to safely resist the rotational force is required.
