In order to achieve success in ground operations, searching for moving targets is one of critical factors. Usually, the system of searching for adversary ground moving targets has complex properties which includes target's moving characteristics, camouflage level, terrain, weather, available search time window, distance between target and searcher, moving speed, target's tactics, etc. The purpose of this paper is to present a practical quantitative method for effectively searching for infiltrated moving targets considering aforementioned complex properties. Based upon search theories, this paper consists of two parts. One is infiltration route analysis, through terrain and mobility analysis. The other is building dynamic probability maps through Monte Carlo simulation to determine the prioritized searching area for moving targets. This study primarily considers ground moving targets' moving pattern. These move by foot and because terrain has a great effect on the target's movement, they generally travel along a constrained path. With the ideas based on the terrain's effect, this study deliberately performed terrain and mobility analysis and built a constrained path. In addition, dynamic probability maps taking terrain condition and a target's moving speed into consideration is proposed. This analysis is considerably distinct from other existing studies using supposed transition probability for searching moving targets. A case study is performed to validate the effectiveness and usefulness of our methodology. Also, this study suggests that the proposed approach can be used for searching for infiltrated ground moving target within critical time window. The proposed method could be used not only to assist a searcher's mission planning, but also to support the tactical commander's timely decision making ability and ensure the operations' success.

Color image processing based on smoke detection is suitable detecting target to early detection of fire smoke. A method for detecting the smoke is processed in the pre-processing movement and color. And Next, characteristics of smoke such as diffusion, texture, shape, and directionality are used to post-processing. In this paper, propose the detection method of density distribution characteristic in characteristics of smoke. the generate a candidate regions by color thresholding image in Detecting the movement of smoke to the 10Frame interval and accumulated while 1second image. then check whether the pattern of the smoke by candidate regions to applying OBTP(Object Block Ternary Pattern). every processing is Block-based processing, moving detection is decided the candidate regions of the moving object by applying an adaptive threshold to frame difference image. The decided candidate region accumulates one second and apply the threshold condition of the smoke color. make the ternary pattern compare the center block value with block value of 16 position in each candidate region of the smoke, and determine the smoke by compare the candidate ternary pattern and smoke ternary pattern.

We propose a fabrication method for refractive lens by variable velocity moving mask lithography and slit pattern. Distribution of exposure dose should be controlled for the curved photoresist surface that works as a refractive surface. We analyze theoretically the distribution of exposure dose by change of moving velocity, moving direction of mask and the shape of mask pattern, and confirm for the curved surface experimentally. The lens could have sag height of a few of hundreds ${\mu}m$, by using thick photoresist or Deep RIE process.

In the cloud computing environment, there has been a lot of research into the Fog/Edge Computing (FEC) paradigm for securing user proximity of application services and computation offloading to alleviate service delay difficulties. The method of predicting dynamic location change patterns of edge devices (moving objects) requesting application services is critical in this FEC environment for efficient computing resource distribution and deployment. This paper proposes an optimal moving pattern extraction algorithm in which variable weights (distance, time, congestion) are applied to selected paths in addition to a support factor threshold for frequency patterns (moving objects) of edge devices. The proposed algorithm is compared to the OPE_freq [8] algorithm, which just applies frequency, as well as the A* and Dijkstra algorithms, and it can be shown that the execution time and number of nodes accessed are reduced, and a more accurate path is extracted through experiments.

This paper presents the sensorless position control of an auxiliary scaffolding step system for vehicles using DC motors. The designed auxiliary scaffolding step has a mechanical protector at the stop position. At this position, the scaffolding is forcibly stopped by the mechanical protector, and the motor current is dramatically increased to the stall current of the DC motor, thereby increasing the electrical damage. In this study, the estimated back EMF- and current model-based observers are proposed to estimate the motor speed and stop position. A simple V/F acceleration voltage pattern is used to operate the auxiliary scaffolding system. The estimated moving position is adopted to determine the stop position of the DC motor with the load current state. The operating current of the DC motor can be reduced by the estimated moving position and V/F acceleration pattern. At the stop position, the proposed sensorless position controller can smoothly stop the DC motor with the estimated moving position and reduced load current without any mechanical and electrical stress from the stall current from the mechanical protector. The proposed control scheme is verified by the comparison of simulations and experiments.
With the development of information technologies and the wide spread of smart devices, the number of users of social network services has increased exponentially. Studies that identify user preferences and recommend similar users in these social network services have been actively done. In this paper, we propose a new scheme to recommend social network friends with similar preferences through the moving pattern analysis of mobile users. The proposed scheme removes the meaningless trajectories via companions, short time trajectories, and repeated trajectories to determine the correct user preference. The proposed scheme calculates user similarity using the meaningful trajectories and recommends users with similar preferences as friends. It is shown through performance evaluation that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes.
A Laser Doppler Vibrometer(LDV) was developed using He-Ne laser as a light source. The heterodyne method was employed and its output signal was digitally processed with a $\mu$-processor and the result was displayed with LCD. The frequency shifted object beam(40 MHz) by a Bragg cell was focused on the surface of the moving target and the Doppler shifted reflected beam was recombined with reference beam at the fast photodetector to produce frequency modulated signal centered at 40 MHz. The signal from the detector was amplified and downconverted to intermediate frequency centered at 1 MHz after mixing process. The voltage output that was proportional to the velocity of the moving surface was obtained using PLL. With the same method, the fringe pattern signal of the moving surface is obtained. This fringe pattern signal is converted to TTL signal with ZCD(zero-crossing detector) and then counted to calculate the displacement due to the vibration, which is displayed with LCD. This LDV can be used to measure the resonant frequency of the electric equipments such as circuit breakers and transformers, of which resonant frequencies are changed when they are damaged.

An experimental investigation was conducted to study natural convection due to temperature and concentration differences between the two opposite end walls of a rectangular enclosure of aspect ratio 0.2. Flow motion in the enclosure appears as a uni-cell flow pattern for the relatively lower concentration and higher temperature differences and vice versa, while it appears as a multicell flow pattern for the comparable temperature and concentration differences. In the multi-cell flow regime, when the cellular flow motiion is very slow, vertical temperature differences within the cells are negligible while the vertical concentration differences are large. In addition, both the temperature and concentration differences are negligible across the interface between the slowly moving cells. For the fast moving cellular flow motion, on thel contrary, vertical temperature differences within the cells are large while the vertical concentration differences are negligible. In this case, temperature differences are negligible and the concentration differences are large across the interface between the fase moving cells.

This wear debris can be harvested from the lubricants of operating machinery and its morphology is directly related to the damage to the interacting surface from which the particles originated. The morphological identification of wear debris can therefore provide very early detection of a fault and can also often facilitate a diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to attempt the developement of intelligent system for moving condition diagnosis of the machine driving system. The four shape parameter(50% volumetric diameter, aspect, roundness and reflectivity) of war debris are used as inputs to the neural network and learned the moving condition of five values(material3, applied load 1, sliding distance 1). It is shown that identification results depend on the ranges of these shape parameter learned. The three kinds of the wear debris had a different pattern characteristics and recognized the moving condition and materials very well by neural network.

This paper proposes a new construction method of neural networks. The construction method consists of two fundmental ideas, which are a parallel selection-style evaluation and rules evolution. A new collision avoidance algorithm using genetic and neural network is proposed to avoid moving obstacles such as mobile robots. The input parameters of this algorithm is position of moving obstacles and target. Output is a regenerated direction of mobile robot. This algorithm is very simple and so, it is available to application of real time process. The pattern of collision avoidance is learned through test execution.
