상대 평균화법에 의한 초퍼구동 DC모터 제어 시스템의 해석 (Analysis of the Chopper Fed DC Motor Control System Using State Space Averaging Method)

  • 본 논문은 직류초퍼구동 전동기 제어시스템을 해석 대상으로 하여 전류 연속모드와 전류 불연속모드의 양 모드 동작시에 있어서의 해석을 상태변수법과 상태평균화법을 적용하여 해석하였으며 두 해석 방법의 결과를 비교 검토함과 동시에 상태평균화법에 의하여 시스템의 해석이 근사적이지만 해석이 용이하다는 것을 나타내고 있다. 또한, 본 시스템의 궤환루프 제어시스템에 있어서 상태평균화법을 이용한 평형점 근방의 근사 선형화 방법을 적용함으로써 전달 매트릭스의 형태로 동특성을 표현할 수 있으며, 이것을 이용한 선형 제어법을 적용하여 궤환루프 제어계의 설계기법을 제시하고 있다.

  • This paper describes the reduction of vibration and position error of Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) with the control method of PWM duty ratio by using Motion Controller in LPM. The LPM is operated on micro-stepping drive, that the linear scale is sequently returned the position signals of a micro-meter And next micro-step is controlled with the scale factor when position error is occurred. The scale factor is experimently acquired.

  • Electric Power Steering(EPS) system is superior to conventional Hydraulic Power Steering(HPS) system in aspect of fuel economy and environmental concerns. The EPS system consists of torque sensor, electric motor, ECU(Electric Control Unit), gears and etc. Among the elements, the torque sensor is one of the core technologies of which output signal is used for main input of EPS controller. Usually, the torque sensor has used torsion bar to transform torsion angle into torque. The torsion angle of both ends of a torsion bar is measured by a contact variable resistor. In this paper, the sensor is accurately analyzed using 3D finite element method and its characteristics with respect to four different shapes of the stator teeth are compared. The four shapes are rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal and circular type.

시뮬레이션 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Horse-back riding Simulation Machine Training on Balance ability in Patients with Stroke)

  • Purpose : Investigate the effects of Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training on the Balance ability in Patients with Stroke. Method : The patients were divided to control group(n=18) with conventional rehabilitation conventional rehabilitation 60min/day and experimental group(n=17) with hippotherapy simulator 15 min/day after conventional rehabilitation 45min/day, 5 time/week for 4 weeks. Balance ability of both groups was assessed using Timed Up and Go(TUG), Berg balabce scale(BBS) and Center of pressure area(COPA). In the present result, there was a no significant(P>0.05) Results : The results of this study showed that Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training, after training, had meaningful difference of TUG, BBS and COPA. Conclusion : This study showed that Horse-back riding Simulation Machine training increased balance ability that resulted in enhancement of motor performance.

  • According to the needs of change to hybrid, fuel cell and electric vehicle, and to the increasing demand for safety and eco-friendliness, the necessity of Electro-Mechanical Brake(EMB) is being increased. But, one of the most important problems for realizing EMB to the practical use is that the required motor power for braking is too high. So the high braking efficient EMB is required. In recent years, the Electronic Wedge Brake(EWB) is noticeable for the high braking efficiency. In this research, we examine the improvable matter of the recent published EWB, and we propose the improved mechanism and the cost effective control method using this mechanism. And we test these feasibility by experiment and discuss these meaning and effect.

비선형 단순 모델을 이용한 차량 안정성 해석 (Vehicle Stability Analysis using a Non-linear Simplified Model)

  • Vehicle stability is a very important subject in vehicle design and control, because vehicle safety is closely dependent upon its dynamic stability. For the vehicle stability analysis, the nonlinear vehicle model of a mid-size car with three DOF - longitudinal, lateral and yaw - is employed. A rigorous method is used to determine the vehicle stability region in plane motion. An algorithm is used to materialize a topology theorem, which enables to find the exact stability region. A stability criterion for the critical cornering is proposed.

A Study of General AC Machine Modeling with Matrix Vector Using DQ Transformation

  • AC machines are in wide use in industry and d-q transformation from 3 phase of a, b, c is commonly used to analyze these kinds of machines. The equivalent circuits of d and q axis are, however, generally cross coupled and difficult to analyze. In this study, a modeling technique of AC machine including induction and PM synchronous motors using matrix vector is proposed. With that model, it can not only explain the AC machines physically but also make it simple to analyze them. The separating process of d and q components is not needed in this model and this model can be applied to analyze asymmetric motors like IPMSM machine. With this technique, the model becomes simple, easy to understand physically, and yields results that are the same as those from other models. These simulation results of the proposed model for induction motor are compared with those of other models to verify the method proposed.

  • This paper presents a high performance ZPE(zero-phase-error) speed controller for PMSM(permanent magnet synchronous motor) drives. A comparison study between conventional general purpose speed controller in modern industry fields such as PI, IP and 2-degree of freedom controller presented also. The proposed ZPE speed controller is found suitable for vector controlled PMSM drives in giving the high level of performance while maintaining the excellent response at the time of speed command changing. In MATLAB-based comparative simulation and experiment results with commercial drive system, the proposed method shows a superior control performance compared with the conventional speed controller widely-used.

로봇 관절의 백래쉬 보상을 위한 외란관측기 설계 (A Disturbance Observer Design for Compensating Backlash at Robot Joint)

  • In mechanical system, gear trains have backlash innately. With the presence of inherent backlash, the overall system performance is limited in many practical control systems. It has been reported that a disturbance observer has the property of effective removing disturbance and cutting measurement noise off. The plant is remodeled with modified disturbance observer to observe and compensate backlash characteristics. And this paper describes a method to design Q filter and to analyze the effects of disturbance and measurement noise to the output. It is shown that the vibration and tracking error caused by backlash were decreased and the time constant and relative degree are important factor to design Q filter.

  • The errors in machining process by CNC machining center are due to many elements, such as the delay of the servo drivers, friction and the gain mismatch between x-axis and y-axis motors and so on. We made a counter circuit to measure the output of motor encoders for the motion error analysis of a CNC machining center, and have measured the errors experimentally when the CNC performs a circular interpolation. We have also used an iterative learning method to reduce the radius errors and stick motion errors generated by the CNC machining center performing a circular interpolation. The proposed learning scheme worked well and the circle obtained has smaller error.
