웨이블릿 영역에서의 선택적인 보간에 의한 반화소 단위 움직임 추정 (Half-pel Accuracy Motion Estimation Algorithm using Selective Interpolation in the Wavelet Domain)

  • 본 논문에서는 저해상도 대역에서의 움직임 벡터를 고려한 고해상도 대역의 영역에서 움직임 탐색을 행함으로써 밀-소 다중해상도 움직임 추정의 과도한 계산량을 줄일 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 정확한 움직임을 찾아서 복원 영상의 화질을 높이기 위해 반화소 단위 움직임 추정을 사용하는데, 많은 계산량이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인접 화소들간의 상관관계를 이용해 오차가 최소가 되는 방향을 예측하여 선택적 보간을 이용하여 계산량을 줄일 수 있었다.

직선베어링 안내면의 운동오차 해석 (Analysis of the Motion Errors in Linear Motion Guide)

  • Motion errors of linear motion guideway are analyzed theoretically in this paper. For the analysis, an new algorithm predicting motion errors of bearing and guideway is proposed using the Hertz's elastic deformation theory. Accuracy averaging effect can be calculated quantitatively by analyzing relationship between motion errors of guideway and spatial frequency of rail form error. Influences of design parameters on the motion errors including the number of balls, preload, ball diameter, bearing length and the number of bearings are analyzed. As it is difficult to measure the rail form error, experimental results are compared with results analyzed by the equivalent analysis method which evaluate the motion errors of guideway using the measured errors of bearing. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that the proposed analysis method it effective lo analyze the motion errors of linear motion bearing and guideway.

  • Recently, the machine tools called multi-task machines, which mounted rotary axes on the table or spindle are used increasingly. Accordingly, multi-task machine tool takes a growing interest on the motion accuracy of feed drive system. In this study, measurement and diagnosis of motion errors ware attempted from circular pattern obtained by using DBB (Double ball bar) device. Those were obtained at both clockwise and counter clockwise motions in mutually perpendicularly intersecting three planes. The reliability of error measurement system for multi-task machine tool was verified by the direct test cutting.

  • 최근 동영상 압축 표준은 세밀한 움직임 정보를 확보하기 위해 1/4 화소 단위의 움직임 예측 알고리즘을 사용하고 있다. 일반적인 동영상 부호화기에서 사용하는 공간 영역에서의 움직임 예측은 부화소 단위 움직임 예측을 위한 보간 기술의 적용으로 인한 계산량 증가 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 주파수 영역에서 shifting matrix를 이용한 부화소 정밀도의 움직임 예측 알고리즘을 제안한다. 주파수 영역에서 shifting matrix 알고리즘을 사용함으로써 낮은 계산량으로 부화소 움직임 예측을 수행할 수 있었으며, 실험 결과 공간 영역에서의 움직임 예측 알고리즘에 비해 낮은 비트량과 높은 PSNR(peak signal-to-noise ratio)을 제공함을 확인하였다.

근육 활성화 모델 기반의 데이터 증강을 활용한 동시 동작 인식 프레임워크 (Simultaneous Motion Recognition Framework using Data Augmentation based on Muscle Activation Model)

  • Simultaneous motion is essential in the activities of daily living (ADL). For motion intention recognition, surface electromyogram (sEMG) and corresponding motion label is necessary. However, this process is time-consuming and it may increase the burden of the user. Therefore, we propose a simultaneous motion recognition framework using data augmentation based on muscle activation model. The model consists of multiple point sources to be optimized while the number of point sources and their initial parameters are automatically determined. From the experimental results, it is shown that the framework has generated the data which are similar to the real one. This aspect is quantified with the following two metrics: structural similarity index measure (SSIM) and mean squared error (MSE). Furthermore, with k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) or support vector machine (SVM), the classification accuracy is also enhanced with the proposed framework. From these results, it can be concluded that the generalization property of the training data is enhanced and the classification accuracy is increased accordingly. We expect that this framework reduces the burden of the user from the excessive and time-consuming data acquisition.

허혈성심장질환 진단에서 심장초음파의 국소벽운동이상과 심장효소의 정확성 평가 (Accuracy Evaluation of Regional Wall Motion Abnormality in Echocardiography and Cardiac Enzymes in the Diagnosis of Ischemic Heart Disease)

  • Echocardiography and cardiac enzymes test are the tests to assess ischemic heart disease. The purpose of this study was to verify the accuracy by comparing and analyzing two tests for the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease. A retrospective study was conducted on 393 study subjects who underwent echocardiography and cardiac enzymes test. As a result of the study, regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA) increased as the age of the study subjects increased. As a result of ROC analysis, RWMA showed a larger area under the curve (AUC) than cardiac enzymes. RWMA showed the highest accuracy with 81.1% of all cardiac enzymes. Among cardiac enzymes, cTnI showed the highest accuracy. Thus, It was confirmed that RWMA of echocardiography is more accurate than cardiac enzyme is in diagnosing ischemic heart disease.

스테레오 연속 영상을 이용한 구조 복원의 정제 (A New Refinement Method for Structure from Stereo Motion)

  • For robot navigation and visual reconstruction, structure from motion (SFM) is an active issue in computer vision community and its properties arc also becoming well understood. In this paper, when using stereo image sequence and direct method as a tool for SFM, we present a new method for overcoming bas-relief ambiguity. We first show that the direct methods, based on optical flow constraint equation, are also intrinsically exposed to such ambiguity although they introduce robust methods. Therefore, regarding the motion and depth estimation by the robust and direct method as approximated ones. we suggest a method that refines both stereo displacement and motion displacement with sub-pixel accuracy, which is the central process f3r improving its ambiguity. Experiments with real image sequences have been executed and we show that the proposed algorithm has improved the estimation accuracy.
