조명환경이 제공하는 MOOD에 대한 고객의 선호도 조사연구-Coffee Shop을 중심으로- (The Study of Costomer's Mood Preferences Influenced From The Lighting Environment-In Coffee Shop-)

  • Although it has been suggested that lighting influences our moods, little is known about dimensionality of mood patterns. The knowledge of consumer's mood pattern in lighting condition may provide interior designers with a valuable information for the lighting design. This article investigates the underlying structure of moods occuring in lighting conditions. Meanwhile, this examines custom-ers' desired mood type of lighting, and explores the influ-ence of individual characteristics on selecting the preffered lighting moods. The result uncovers five discriminable patterns of mood-dynamic, intimate, delightful, elegant, and serene feeling results from well organized lighting system. Among the five moods, serene atmosphere appears to be the most preffered mood from respondants. It is also found that the perceived preference of lighting atmo-sphere varies across personal characteristics of the cus-tomers, socio-economic differences and the visiting pur-poses to the coffeeshop. These findings present interest-ing and potentially valuable implications for interior de-signers that proper planning of lights which inducemoods can achieve dramatic effects and aid in the cre-ation of the desired atmosphere.

의류 통신판매 이용자의 충동구매 성향과 충동구매 자극 (The Catalogue and Online-Order Apparel Shoppers Impulsive Purchase Orientation and Impulsive Purchase Stimuli)

  • The purposes of this study were to find out the catalogue and online-order apparel shoppers' impulsive purchase orientation and impulsive purchase stimuli. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to women over than 20 years, and collected from middle to the end of November in 2000. Frequencies, percentages, and mean were calculated. One-way ANOVA, chi-square test, factor analysis, and cluster analysis were used, and Duncan's Multiple Range test was followed. 1. Factors of impulsive purchase orientation were relax from negative moods, design property, inducement from neighbors, taste congruence, price property of apparel, positive moods, and loose-control, and were segmented into the low impulsive purchaser, the reasonable purchaser, the fulfilled with positive moods, and the high impulsive purchaser. The factors of impulsive purchase stimuli were apparel property, consumer service, sales promotion on the point of sales, and low price. 2. The low impulsive Purchaser was affected little by impulsive purchase stimuli, spent a little money on apparel, and the married with high education level were the most. The reasonable purchaser was affected by sales promotion on the point of sales or low price, spent a little money on apparel, and students or house-wives were the most The fulfilled with positive moods was affected by low price, and students or career women with high education level were the most, but spent less money on apparel. The high impulsive purchaser was affected by various impulsive purchase stimuli, the young unmarried with high education level were the most, and spent more money on apparel. 3. The younger, the unmarried, students or career women, and shoppers with higher income or apparel expenditure showed a higher impulsive purchase tendency for relax from negative mood, design property, for inducement from neighbor, taste congruence, and positive moods. 4. The older, the married, house wives, and shoppers with higher apparel expenditure were stimulated by apparel property or consumer services.

Investigation of the Influence of Induced Mood on Rehabilitation Engagement: a Study Focusing on Muscle Activity

  • Engagement is an important factor in the field of rehabilitation as it is a known factor that have a positive influence on functional gaining in people who receive rehabilitation therapy. Although a number of measurements for engagement have been recently developed, investigation of possible factors that may have influence on engagement is not well established. Currently available evidence suggests that engagement is affected by mood and it is hypothesized that a personal factor may contribute to engagement. Therefore, this study aims to test the hypothetical relationship between mood and engagement while performing a manual dexterity task through an experiment in healthy participants prior to investigation on people with medical condition who requires rehabilitation therapy. After inducing target mood (positive or negative mood) for study participants by asking them to recall autobiographical memories, change in muscle activity, which was operationalized as an indicator of engagement, was investigated. Electromyogram (EMG) was recorded from four muscle areas in non-dominant hand side to quantify muscle activity. The results show that the target moods were appropriately induced with the method. Although there were subtle differences in the level of engagement between different moods, certain variables derived from muscle activity were significantly different; mean amplitude for wrist extensor EMG showed significant difference between different moods (Z = -2.023, p < .05) indicating that muscle activities in the wrist extensor are greater for positive mood than negative mood region during manual dexterity task. Meanwhile, performance outcomes of Minnesota Manual Dexterity Test (MMDT), such as mean completion time and number of errors, between moods showed no significant difference in two different moods, resulting in MMDT administration may not be useful task in distinguishing the level of rehabilitation engagement.

  • This study focuses on the imported silver goods from Japan and investigates the backgrounds of importing, trade items, and the amount of the exchange. This study also investigates the effects of the importing silver on Chosun society. A large amount of silver was imported from Japan and the amount of imported silver reached its maximum in Chosun Dynasty. Japan, on the other hand, imported a large quantity of cotton cloth from Chosun Dynasty. Silver was imported mainly because of the sumptuous moods among the royal family and the aristocracy. The moods were spread out to general people who made them wish for the luxurious and expensive chinese goods. To buy the luxurious goods, a lot of silver was imported from Japan. Importing a large quantity of silver fostered the sumptuous moods and also caused the price increase in the Chosun society. The order of the society became worse because of the individual trades of rich merchants who were closely connected to high officials.

국내 SW 전문인력의 이직의도 결정요인에 관한 연구 : 직무만족도 매개적 역할을 중심으로 (Examination of the Determinants of SW Manpower' Turnover Intention : Testing the Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction)

  • Up to now, a shortage of SW staff has been a threat to providing satisfactory SW services in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary for us to understand factors that satisfy SW personnel and then retain them not to leave their current job positions. Hereafter, we examine whether SW manpower's job satisfaction fully mediates or partially mediates the relationship between the drivers of turnover intention such as satisfaction on IT education, job fitness, fairness of rewards and organizational moods and turnover intention. Using survey data from 745 SW staffs, we found that all antecedents except for satisfaction on IT education have significant impacts on job satisfaction as well as verified that the job satisfaction partially or fully mediates the relationships between job fitness, fairness of reward and organizational moods and turnover intention. Based on our findings, our results allowed us to provide a deeper understanding of the forces on turnover intention by examining the role of mediating effect on job satisfaction.

챗봇 데이터에 나타난 우울 담론의 범주와 특성의 이해 (Understanding the Categories and Characteristics of Depressive Moods in Chatbot Data)

  • 자연어처리 기술과 비대면 문화의 확산과 더불어 챗봇의 사용 증가세가 가파르며, 챗봇의 용도 또한 일상 대화와 소비자 응대를 넘어서 정신건강을 위한 용도로 확장하고 있다. 챗봇은 익명성이 보장된다는 점에서 사용자들이 우울감에 관해 이야기하기 적합한 서비스이다. 그러나 사용자가 작성한 문장들을 분석해 우울 담론의 유형과 특성을 파악하는 연구들은 주로 소셜 네트워크 데이터를 대상으로 했다는 한계점이 존재하며, 실제 환경에서 사용되는 챗봇과 상호작용한 데이터를 분석한 연구는 찾아보기 힘들다. 이 연구에서는 챗봇-사람의 상호작용 데이터에서 무작위로 추출한 '우울'과 관련된 대화 데이터를 토픽 모델링 방법과 텍스트마이닝 기법으로 분석하여 채팅에서의 우울 관련 담론의 특성을 파악하였다. 또한, 챗봇에서 빈번히 나타나는 '우울' 담론의 범주와 트위터 '우울' 담론의 범주의 차이점을 비교하였다. 이를 통해 챗봇 데이터의 '우울' 대화만의 특징을 파악하고, 적절한 심리지원 정보를 제공하는 챗봇 서비스를 위한 시사점과 향후 연구 방향에 대해 논의한다.

Does Happiness Always Lead to Reliance on Feelings in Decision Making?

  • Previous research has demonstrated that happy moods are known to promote feeling-based processing, whereas sad moods promote reason-based processing. The current research investigates a boundary condition for the effects of a happy mood on feeling-based decision making. This research proposes that the level of control (low vs. high) one exercises in a happy situation can promote a greater reliance on feelings (vs. reasons) in making judgments and decisions. Specifically, we hypothesize that (1) a happy individual in a situation where control level is low (vs. high) will be more likely to choose a cognitively (vs. affectively) superior option (hypothesis 1), and (2) a happy individual in a situation where control level is low (vs. high) will exert reason- (vs. feeling-) based processing (hypothesis 2). Consistent with the hypothesis 1, the results of two experiments show that happy individuals are more likely to choose cognitively versus affectively superior options in a situation where control level is low (vs. high). Moreover, the mediation analysis confirms that happy individuals are more likely to rely on cognitive, reason-based decision making when their control level is low, which supports the hypothesis 2.

웃음요법이 호스피스 입원환자의 기분상태, 통증 및 스트레스에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Laughter Therapy on Moods, Pain, and Stress of Hospitalized Hospice Patients)

  • 웃음요법이 호스피스 입원환자의 기분상태, 통증 및 스트레스에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위해 J대학병원 입원환자 49명(실험군:26명, 대조군:23명)을 대상으로 시행하였다. 실험군과 대조군의 기분상태, 통증, 스트레스는 VAS 측정도구로 입원 3일째와 8일째에 측정하였고, 실험군의 경우 입원 3일째부터 매일 20-30분씩, 5일간 웃음요법을 받았다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 24.0를 이용하여 변수의 동질성 검증은 $x^2$-test, fisher's exact test를, 그리고 가설검정은 Independent t-test, Mann-Whitney U test로 하였다. 그 결과 웃음요법을 제공받은 실험군의 기분상태(t=-12.88, p <.001), 통증(t=-6.38, p <.001), 스트레스(t=-6.03, p <.001)는 대조군에 비해 각각 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 호스피스 입원환자의 기분상태, 그리고 통증과 스트레스 완화를 위한 웃음요법의 적극 활성화가 요청된다.

의류제품 구매시 감정적 요인이 구매행동에 미치는 행동 (Effects of Affective Factors on Apparel Buying Behaviors)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate consumer's antecedent mood, cognitive factors, and experienced affection, to find out the relationships among antecedent mood, cognitive factors, experienced affection, and consumer's characteristics, and to examine the discriminant variables of apparel buying behaviors. We developed an questionaire based on the previous studies and pretests. We collected data from 443 housewives living in Pusan and analyzed by Factor analysis, t-test, and Discriminant analysis. The results showed as following: 1. Antecedent mood consists of four factors and cognitive factors in store were composed of four factors. Experienced affection in store includes Pleasure, Dominant and Stimulating feeling. 2. We discovered that consumer characteristics related to the antecedent mood, the experienced affection and cognitive factors in store. 3. Purchasers didn't relate to the consumer characteristics, and related to the antecedent mood, the cognitive factors, the experienced affection in store. Experienced affection and antecedent moods appeared to be important factors in determining apparel buying behavior of consumers. Especially, Pleasure and Dominance of the experienced affection and Depression, Excitation/expectation. Worry and Self-encouraging of the antecedent moods were more important variables in determining apparel buying behavior than any other variables.

사용자의 기분을 고려하기 위한 상황 기반 추천 시스템 (A Situation-Based Recommendation System for Exploiting User's Mood)

  • Recommendation systems help users by suggesting items such as products, services, and information. However, most research on recommendation systems has not considered people's moods although the appropriate contents recommended to people would be changed by people's moods. In this paper, we propose a situation-based recommendation system which exploits people's mood. The proposed scheme is based on the fact that the mood of a user is changed frequently by the surrounding environments such as time, weather, and anniversaries. The environments are defined as feature identifications, and the rating values on items are stored as feature identifications at a database. Then, people can be recommended diverse items according to their environments. Our proposed scheme has some advantages such as no problem of cold start, low processing overhead, and serendipitous recommendation. The proposed scheme can be also a good option as of assistance to other recommendation systems.
