NC 정보와 이송축 모터 전류를 이용한 선삭 가공 상태 감시 (Monitoring of Machining State in Turning by Means of Information and Feed Motor Current)

  • 본 연구에서는 이송축 직류 서보 모터의 전류신호와 NC정보를 이용해서 선삭 가공상태를 감시하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 모터 전류는 가공 부하의 상태를 잘 나 타내며, NC 장치에 내장되어 있기 때문에 신호 검출을 위한 별도의 센서가 필요 없어 서 공구가 수시로 바뀌는 NC작업 감시를 위한 유효한 신호이다. 또 NC 정보로부터 작업을 예측함으로써 감시 대상을 명확히 하고 신뢰성을 높이고자 하였다. 전체적인 감시 시스템의 프로그래밍 언어로는 C를 사용하여, 실시간 감시처리를 가능하게 하였 다.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of real time communication digital photography method using Kakao Talk application in smart-phone for the fortification of food consumption monitoring and weight reduction. Thirty-four female college students were randomly assigned to the camera-phone (CP) group or smart-phone (SP) group. Each group participated in the weight control program for 8 weeks. The mean energy intake of CP group during program was 1353.5 kcal and the SP group consumed 1289.2 kcal. The total energy intake of both groups was significantly decreased during the program. The CP group lost 1.9 kg of body weight and 1.9% of body fat and the SP group lost 4.3 kg of body weight and 3.0% of body fat. The body weight was significantly decreased in the SP group compared to the CP group. The triglyceride and total cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol level of SP group were significantly decreased during the program. However, there were no significant changes in CP group during the program. Also there were no significant changes in lipid profile between two groups. In this study, it is considered that real time communication digital photography method using Kakao Talk application in smart-phone might influence weight control through a trained consumption monitoring. Therefore, smart-phone can lead individuals to rely more heavily on easy-to-monitor visual cues.

임베디드 시스템들을 위한 SNMP 기반의 저부하 시스템 모니터링 (Low Overhead System Monitoring Based on SNMP for Embedded Systems)

  • SNMP는 네트워크 장비들의 관리를 위한 표준 프로토콜이지만 요즘의 대부분의 컴퓨터 시스템들은 SNMP 에이전트로서의 기능을 보유하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템을 위한 저부하의 SNMP 라이브러리를 개발하고, 이를 활용하여 많은 수의 시스템들을 일괄적으로 모니터링하기 위한 소프트웨어를 구현하였다. 모니터링 시스템은 모니터링 서버, SNMP 에이전트들, 및 클라이언트 프로그램으로 구성된다. 모니터링 서버는 모니터링 대상 시스템에서 실행되는 SNMP 에이전트들로부터 상태정보들을 수집하고 요약 정보를 클라이언트 프로그램에게 전달한다. 클라이언트 프로그램은 Java를 활용한 독자적인 프로그램과 웹 기반의 프로그램의 두 가지 버전을 구현하였다.

작업환경측정 제도 운영 실태에 관한 고찰 (Assessment on Work Environment Monitoring Program in Korea)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate work environment monitoring program(WMP) under Industrial Safety and Health Act in Korea. WMP was evaluated by focusing on five key elements, such as purpose, subject, scope, method and workers' participation. The operation status of WMP was evaluated by using questionnaire to workers and data published by Ministry of Labor(MOL). Compliance rate of WMP was less 13 % in manufacturing workplaces. Over-exposure rate was steady state by annual trend. The degree of workers' satisfaction to WMP was just 24 %. A critical problem with the current WMP is that the employer and workers are not acting as main players. For a fundamental improvement in working condition to take place, participation of workers should be expanded and be guaranteed by law.

  • This paper presents a implementation of the monitoring program for the analysis of electric consumption characteristics in home appliances, which uses a Labview program from National Instruments Corporation. It is can provide to be easy for small-scale researcher, development groups or individual researcher to analyze electric power consumption characteristics. Also, this paper apply to actual private home and then, analyze result of monitoring and a database result of power quality etc, like the power consumption form, power factor and harmonic which follow season, and time zone. For this measured the apartment where the family which is four lives in the object.

  • This paper describes a monitoring program for a substation preventive diagnostic system. The monitoring program announces the condition of the transformer and GIS like normal, warning, abnormal and danger from the absolute value of data or change trend to user. The developed system is operating in 345kV U-Ryung substation for performance and environment tests.

  • LED is expected as an environmentally friendly next generation light source with its good reliability and long lifetime. In this paper, we propose the PV-Battery Driven LED Security Lighting using the LabVIEW program. The remote monitoring is a program for monitoring the voltage and current that made from PV-Battery Driven LED security lighting in remote area. The main subject of this paper is about making the more useful monitoring program to get and save the data from LED Security Lighting. We develop a prototype of the proposed system.

A Study on Filtering Techniques for Dynamic Analysis of Data Races in Multi-threaded Programs

  • In this paper, we introduce three monitoring filtering techniques which reduce the overheads of dynamic data race detection. It is well known that detecting data races dynamically in multi-threaded programs is quite hard and troublesome task, because the dynamic detection techniques need to monitor all execution of a multi-threaded program and to analyse every conflicting memory and thread operations in the program. Thus, the main drawback of the dynamic analysis for detecting data races is the heavy additional time and space overheads for running the program. For the practicality, we also empirically compare the efficiency of three monitoring filtering techniques. The results using OpenMP benchmarks show that the filtering techniques are practical for dynamic data race detection, since they reduce the average runtime overhead to under 10% of that of the pure detection.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented using embedded systems. A parallel port connecting parallel I/O is controlled via HTTP protocol and web browser program. HTTP protocol is ported into Linux. A micro web server program and port control program installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser. Experimental results of proposed web based monitoring systems can be used in automation systems and remote distributed control systems via internet using web browser.

Structural novelty detection based on sparse autoencoders and control charts

  • The powerful data mapping capability of computational deep learning methods has been recently explored in academic works to develop strategies for structural health monitoring through appropriate characterization of dynamic responses. In many cases, these studies concern laboratory prototypes and finite element models to validate the proposed methodologies. Therefore, the present work aims to investigate the capability of a deep learning algorithm called Sparse Autoencoder (SAE) specifically focused on detecting structural alterations in real-case studies. The idea is to characterize the dynamic responses via SAE models and, subsequently, to detect the onset of abnormal behavior through the Shewhart T control chart, calculated with SAE extracted features. The anomaly detection approach is exemplified using data from the Z24 bridge, a classical benchmark, and data from the continuous monitoring of the San Vittore bell-tower, Italy. In both cases, the influence of temperature is also evaluated. The proposed approach achieved good performance, detecting structural changes even under temperature variations.
