  • WAVE system is a vehicle communication technology. The system provides the services to prevent vehicle accidents that might occur during driving. Also, it is used to provide various services such as monitoring vehicle management and system failure. In this paper, we divide module that manages WAVE MAC state into a WSMP base MLME module and IP base module and we design and implement a parameter environment between WME module to manage the state of the WAVE system and MLMEX module to mange IP base of WAVE MAC therefore the date to be processed. Also, in order to verify the validity, we have carried out experiments to compare the speed of data processing by dividing data of 5Mbyte, 10Mbyte, 20Mbyte into the packets of 2KByte and 4KByte. Therefore, in WAVE system, the Parameter environments and data processing speed between WME and MLMEX module can be utilized in the various service of vehicle communication technology depending on the speed of data processing.

  • [$^{18}F$]FDG (2-[$^{18}F$] Fluoro-2-deoxy-D-Glucose), which is required Automated Synthetic Module for production, is most often used Radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine. In this study, an Automated Synthesis Module was developed to produce FDG in two consecutive time when F-18 feds continuously by modifying a domestic FDG Automated Synthetic Module on structural geometry and control system. The results were showed that the Average Synthesis Yields on the developed Automated Synthetic Module were $45{\pm}3%$ (n=20), $50{\pm}3%$ (n=20) respectively. The Quality Control results, such as Radio TLC, Radiochemical purity, Gamma-counter, pH, LAL Test, Micro bacteria test, showed in same level with domestic [$^{18}F$]FDG Auto-Synthetic modules. Therefore, if some features were improved by considering the components life time and appearance, commercial sales can be expected because of low price and easy maintenance compared with foreign products.

  • A triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) can obtain electrical output due to the reciprocal motion between two objects (i.e., rubbing), in which repetitive contact is made. High reliability, stable output, and high reproducibility are important aspects of the electrical output obtained through a TENG as a sensor or generator, thus enabling its meaningful use. Therefore, many researchers fabricated TENGs into individual parts in the form of one module type to obtain high reproducibility and reliability. Since a TENG manufactured as a module type operates as a single device, it is possible to collect kinetic energy and convert it into electrical energy through the interaction between internally configured elements without the need for a separate structure. In addition, it is relatively easy to apply the size to the body, machine tools, and natural environment by simply adjusting the size suitable for use and surrounding environmental conditions. In this paper, the application cases of module-type TENGs are divided into four areas, and the research progress of module-type TENGs in each area is extensively reviewed.

  • It is difficult to measure junction temperature in the LED Module. According to the arrangement control unit and heat sink, temperature distribution is changed in the LED Module. A method of forecasting LED Module thermal resistance is suggested with measuring LED and PCB board temperature.

  • With the need for efficient maintenance technology to reduce maintenance costs for steel bridges, repainting robots are being developed to automate the work in narrow and poor bridge spaces. The repainting robot is equipped with a blasting module to remove paint layers and contaminants. This study developed a prototype monitoring module to be mounted on the repainting robot. The monitoring module analyzes the condition of the painting surface through a camera installed in the front, guides the direction of movement of the robot, and provides the operator with a video to check the working status after blasting through a camera installed in the back. Various image visibility enhancement technologies were applied to the monitoring module to overcome worksite challenges where incomplete lighting and dust occurs.

  • Soiling on the surface of a PV module reduces the amount of light reaching the solar cells, decreasing power performance. The performance of the PV module is generally restored after contaminants on the module surface are washed away by rain, but it accumulates at the bottom of the module owing to the thickness of the module frame, causing an output mismatch on the PV module. Since PV modules are usually installed horizontally or vertically outdoors, soiling can occur at the bottom of the PV module, depending on the installation direction due to external environmental factors. This paper is analyzed the output characteristics of a PV module considering its installation direction and the soiling area. The soiling was simulated to use transparent films with 5% transmittance, and the transmission film was attached to the bottom part of the PV module horizontally and vertically. When the soiling area was 33% of the string at the bottom of the PV module, the power output decreased similarly regardless of installation direction. However, when the soiling area was 66% of the string at the bottom of the PV module, it was confirmed that the output performance decreased sharply when installed vertically rather than horizontally.

  • We have developed a prototype of a module-based patient monitor. In this paper, we describe the design methodology and specifications of the developed module-based patient monitors. The monitor consists of a main unit and module cases with various parameter modules. The main unit includes a 12.1" TFT color LCD, a main CPU board, and peripherals such as a module controller, Ethernet LAN card, video card, rotate/push button controller, etc. The main unit can connect at maximum three module cases, each of which can accommodate up to 7 parameter modules. They include the modules for electrocardiograph, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and $SpO_2$ with plethysmograph.

  • This paper presents a dialogue interface using the dialogue management system as a method for controlling home appliances in Home Network Services. In order to realize this type of dialogue interface, we annotated 96,000 utterance pair sized dialogue set and developed an example-based dialogue system. This paper introduces the automatic error correction module for the SMS-styled sentence. With this module we increase the accuracy of NLU(Natural Language Understanding) module. Our NLU module shows an accuracy of 86.2%, which is an improvement of 5.25% over than the baseline. The task completeness of the proposed SMS dialogue interface was 82%.

  • Thermoelectric power generation has emerged as a promising alternative technology because it offers a potential application in the direct conversion of waste heat into electric energy. The performance of thermoelectric power generator depends on thermoelectric materials and thermoelectric power module designs. The main objective of this study is to design a 100W thermoelectric generation (TEG) module and to get optimal operating conditions of the module. The design and performance of the TEG module will be presented.
