This study was intended to investigate intertextuality expressed in fashion; intertextuality within fashion as sex, T.P.O., texture, and coordination and intertextuality between fashion and other genre like animation, music, film and technology. Intertextuality obtained by mixing the masculine and feminine text, coordinating various element without regarding T.P.O., texture has contributed to expending aesthetic realm and redefining the aesthetic value of traditional fashion design. The influence of animation, music, film on fashion and the interaction between these genre and fashion integrated high-class fashion and street-fashion, created the multicultural hybrid. Moreover according to the change of lifestyle the fashionable technical clothing was needed and developed. The intertextual tendency in the 21st-century fashion has given the new possibility of fashion design.

Purpose : This purpose of this study is to research basic principles, treatment and kinds of manual therapy of Tuina. Methods : This is a literature study with books and articles. Results : Tuina as a treatment technique with a long history was called by various names. As a term Tuina appears, the technical books and widespread treatments were performed. In modern times, safety was emphasized from chemical and biological side effects of medications, according to this tendency alternative medicine was on the rise. Conclusion : Tuina has a sufficient clinical treatment history and comes into the spotlight as an excellent treatment based on the academic system of oriental medicine.

On 16Dec. 1999, It was 100 years since the opening the first railroad section of 33.2km on Sep. 1899, Korea High Speed Railroad had a successful trial run of 200km/h on test track section. And the test speed 300km/h was achieved an 28 June 2000 during continuous commissioning. In the 21st century, the High Speed Railroad will be opened commercially in Korea and will contribute to technical development. Now, it is necessary to re-evaluate the role of railroad in modern society and to activate the railroad system. Ultimately, the competitive power of nation will be strengthened with energy saving, reduction of pollution and transportation cost. It conclusion the railroad system have to be expaned about 50% of total transportation to make preparations for reopening of Eurasia silk route through KyungEu railroad connection.

After the Industrial Revolution. most of experimental houses were had focused on the way of construction structure and material of buildings. Especially the Case Study Houses among experimental house of the mid-twentieth century were appreciated as an important case in a viewpoint of technology space and aesthetics. The Case Study Houses program was started by the sponsorship of magazinein California 1945 after the World War II. From 1945 to 1966. for about 20years more than 36 house projects were progressed by the Case study House Program This research divided and organized the expression characteristics of the Case Study Houses' technical spacious and artistic aspects. As a result the experimental housing concept that was established within the Case Study Houses became the remarkable concept of the modern architecture that is successfully accomplished within the frame of housing.

The purpose of this study is to examine orientalism in Korean modem fashion by Korean fashion designers. Orientalism in fashion has been widely known to people by the efforts of many researchers, but that in Korean fashion wasn't. We thus study the aesthetic meaning of Korean orientalism, and extend it to oriental fashion as well as meaning of modem orientalism shown in Korean fashion. For this study, we categorized the orientalism in Korean fashion as follows: 1) mix orientalism; 2) natural beauty with non technical skill; 3) humorous beauty; 4) color beauty.

The 21 century has entered a stage of innovation with current globalization. The technical development of science has changed more rapidly than any other era and through this change, design will control the world. For this reason, I consider that researching Philippe Starck's - one of most active designers in the world- philosophies and traits of his work can be the key to understanding 21st century's design characters and main trends. Furthermore this research will also help to predict future design. Philippe Starck has diverse traits but this study would like to focus on his trait of Surrealism. First I have arranged all his design backgrounds including periodic circumstance which influenced his works. Secondly I researched and analyzed how his design philosophy has expressed his works. Phillppe Starck defines Surrealism as an expression of a dream and unconsciousness showing an indoor view and he expresses his characteristic wit and humor by presenting completely different and exceptional space from what people have usually seen.

Variable loads along the drive-train are attributed to frequent failures of gears, bearings, and other components. Wind parameters cannot be controlled and therefore any turbine load-reducing remedies must be established based on proper insights into the wind-turbine interactions. A novel control concept to performance optimization of wind turbines is presented. This proposed concept is based on analysis of the turbine status reflected in the SCADA data. Modern computational techniques are used to optimize performance of a wind turbine from tree basic perspectives: drive-train, power output, and power quality. The proposed approach demonstrates that gains in the metrics representing the three perspectives and the corresponding control goals can be significantly improved for any wind turbine. The solution is applicable different turbine types operating in different wind regimes, e.g., winds of different speeds and variability. Simple and transparent parameters allow an operator to determine a balance between the operations and maintenance, technical, business objectives. The proposed modeling framework was embedded in software. The software tool has been tested on the data collected from 1.5 MW wind turbines.

The military vehicles are an inevitable resource that is indispensible to successfully perform modern wars. Military vehicles used in the Korean Army are the copycats of American out-dated military vehicles, but limited to fulfill the specific requirements by the operators. Korean army are nowadays trying to launch a new developmental plan for military vehicles of new concepts by the Korean Army. This article, hence, extracts the necessary factors upon the advancement of military vehicles by the expertises with the operation of military vehicles as well as sufficient experiences about maintenance. Suggesting and setting up the priority, the result makes practical application for the decision of the development of military vehicles.

The European Standards Organisation (CEN) has planned to develop a complete set of harmonized European building standards. The Eurocodes, being the design standards, form part of this total system of European standards, together with standards for fabrication and erection and product standards. After a period of experimental use of the ENV(European Pre Standard)-versions of the Eurocodes, these are now converted into official EN's (European Standards). Design of composite steel and concrete buildings and bridges is covered by Eurocode 4. An overview will be given of the historic development of Eurocode 4, the structure and contents of the EN version and the present status and planning for completion. The Eurocode treatment of some selected technical items will be presented in more detail.

Modern naval ships are large complex systems with the number of requirements ranges from thousands to tens of thousands. To build a quality ship, the satisfaction of the requirements should be traced. In most shipbuilding projects it is almost impossible to manage all the requirements without a proper CASE (computer aided systems engineering) tool. And for effective management of the shipbuilding project, the integrated database for technical data is very important. This paper describes how the requirements are managed, and the integrated database is built in the naval shipbuilding industry in Korea.
