모수적·비모수적 입력모델링 기법을 이용한 신뢰성 해석 (Reliability Analysis Using Parametric and Nonparametric Input Modeling Methods)

  • 신뢰성 해석 및 신뢰성기반 최적설계는 불확실성을 고려한 확률변수를 입력 값으로 요구하며, 확률변수는 모수적 비모수적 통계모델링 방법을 사용하여 확률분포함수의 형태로 정량화 된다. 신뢰성 해석과 같은 통계적 해석은 입력되는 확률분포함수의 특성이 결과값에 영향을 미치게 되며, 확률분포함수는 통계모델링 방법에 따라 다른 형태를 가지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 모수적 통계모델링 방법인 순차적 통계모델링 방법과 비모수적 방법인 커널밀도추정을 사용하여 데이터의 개수에 따른 통계모델링의 결과를 분석하였다. 또한 수치예제를 통해 두 가지 기법에 따른 신뢰성 해석의 결과를 분석하였고, 데이터의 개수에 따른 적절한 기법을 제안하였다.

  • SRMD system which protects MBT from the threats in a short range is composed of 2 radars, 2 IRTs 1 CCU and 2 countermeasures. To analyze the performance of this system, there is a need to make the model of MBT on which this system is loaded. In this paper, a method of MBT movement modeling is proposed to fulfill the above need. The methods of the coordinate system transformation among the components and the modeling of a hull's traveling and a turret's turning are proposed. The method of the modeling of a pose variation caused by the vibrations is proposed and the results of the modeling are presented.

교육용 소형 항공기의 형상 모델링과 공력 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Configuration Modeling and Aerodynamic Analysis of Small Airplanes for Flight Training)

  • This paper presents comparative results of configuration modeling and aerodynamic analysis to single-engine airplanes such as C-172, SR-20, and DA40NG. The software OpenVSP was used as an airplane configuration modeling tool. OpenVSP can provide the fastest method to get three-dimensional aircraft configuration from given basic data and drawings of aircraft. Parametric design input in OpenVSP, from given aircraft geometric parameters, was applied to small airplanes mentioned. New aircraft models in this study were reversely designed to coincide with the publicly obtained dimensions of the original aircraft. The basic aerodynamic analysis of newly designed modeling aircraft was performed by the vortex lattice method. Results are shown that the similarity of aerodynamic data obtained except for the lack of DA40NG. In conclusion, the modeling process applied to this work is valuable to obtain conceptual design insight in the reverse design from the small airplanes currently in use for flight training.

  • A multibody system dynamics analysis program is presented using one of the most useful programming methodologies, the object-oriented modeling, The object-oriented modeling defines a problem from the physical world as an abstract object. The object becomes encapsulated with the data and method, Analysis is performed using the object's interface, It is then possible for the user and the developer to modify and upgrade the program without having particular knowledge of the analysis program, The method presented in this paper has several advantages, Since the mechanical components of the multi-body system are converted into the class, the modification, exchange, distribution and reuse of classes are increased. It becomes easier to employ a new analysis method and interface with other S/W and H/W systems, Information can be communicated to each object through messaging. This makes the modeling of new classes easier using the inheritance, When developing a S/W for the computer simulation of a physical system, it is reasonable to use object-oriented modeling.

사용 사례 모델링을 위한 시나리오 기반의 목적 지향 접근법에 관한 연구 (Scenario-based Goal-oriented Approach for Use Case Modeling)

  • Use case modeling on UML (Unified Modeling Language) is getting widely used in OOAD and CBD and it is considered a useful technique in dealing with the complexity of the requirements analysis. However, some of the problems with use case modeling are that it is not structured, difficult to handle non-functional requirements, and to analyze impacts among use cases. To alleviate these problems, we propose a scenario-based goal-oriented approach for use case modeling. The proposed approach is to apply a goal-oriented analysis method to use case modeling. Since goal-oriented analysis method is not systematic and many heuristics are involved, we have adopted scenarios as the basis for goal extraction. The proposed method is applied to CBIS (City Bus Information Subsystem) in ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) domain. The proposed approach helps software engineers to analyze the impact among use cases and represent non-functional requirements.

  • Conventional static reliability analysis methods are inadequate for modeling dynamic interactions between components of a system. Various techniques such as dynamic fault tree, dynamic Bayesian networks, and dynamic reliability block diagrams have been proposed for modeling dynamic systems based on improvement of the conventional modeling methods. In this paper, we review these methods briefly and introduce dynamic nodes to the existing reliability graph with general gates (RGGG) as an intuitive modeling method to model dynamic systems. For a quantitative analysis, we use a discrete-time method to convert an RGGG to an equivalent Bayesian network and develop a software tool for generation of probability tables.

  • Electric load components have different characteristics according to the variation of voltage and frequency. This paper presents the load modeling of an electric locomotive by the parameter identification method. The proposed method for load modeling is very simple and easy for application. The proposed load model of the electric locomotive is represented by the combination of the loads that have static and dynamic characteristics. This load modeling is applied to the KTX in Korea to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results of proposed load modeling by the parameter identification follow the field measurements very exactly.

  • To model a numerical problem space under the limitation of available data, we need to extract sparse but key points from the space and to efficiently approximate the space with them. This study proposes a sampling method based on the search process of genetic algorithm and a space modeling method based on least-squares approximation using the summation of Gaussian functions. We conducted simulations to evaluate them for several kinds of problem spaces: DeJong's, Schaffer's, and our original one. We then compared the performance between our sampling method and sampling at regular intervals and that between our modeling method and modeling using a polynomial. The results showed that the error between a problem space and its model was the smallest for the combination of our sampling and modeling methods for many problem spaces when the number of samples was considerably small.

저가형 해파 모니터링 시스템을 위한 파형 모델링 (Wave Modeling for Low-cost Wave Monitoring System)

  • This paper describes a wave modeling method using low-cost sensors. Wave modeling is applied to the wave monitoring system for accurate measurement of ocean wave parameters. The observation of ocean wave parameters is necessary to improve the accuracy of forecast of ocean wave condition. However, the ocean wave parameters measured by a low-cost wave monitoring system suffer from several errors. Therefore we introduce a wave modeling method to compensate the ocean wave parameters corrupted by errors. The proposed method is analyzed using experiments within controlled environment. It is verified that the accuracy of low-cost wave monitoring system can be increased by the proposed method.

교량 말뚝기초의 단부 지점조건의 영향분석 (Influence of Pile Cap's Boundary Conditions in Piled Pier Structures)

  • Modeling techniques of piled pier were reviewed and the influences of pile cap's boundary conditions were analyzed in this study. Among various modeling techniques, equivalent cantilever method seems relatively simple for modeling pile groups and it has some problems to determine the virtual fixed points. Through the analyses, it was found that the method of nonlinear p-y model with soil springs was more appropriate than equivalent cantilever method. The method modeling a pile group using stiffness matrix seems useful for practical design, which can represent the nonlinear three-dimensional behavior of a piled pier. In this study, the stiffness matrix of a pile group could be estimated efficiently and precisely using three-dimensional nonlinear analysis programs of pile groups (FBPier 3.0, YSGroup).
