Recently, various researches and projects about electric vehicles are in progress vigorously and continuously and it is expected to penetrate rapidly with the next a few years. This deployment will cause the change of load composition rate affecting on power system planning and operations. Therefore, a new load model should be developed integrating with electric vehicle loads. In this paper, the load composition rate of residential sectors is analyzed considering the deployment of this mobility load such as electric vehicles and a new diffusion model is proposed based on the classification of the replacement patterns. Additionally, electric vehicle charging loads are basically modeled by some individual load experiments to develop new load models for smart place and some new conceptual power systems such as micro grids.
This study was to develop the patterns based on the study of commercial Cheollik dress pattern analysis that verify the effects of pattern improvement by performing wearing evaluations. The commercial Cheollik dress pattern analysis was divided into A type composed of a traditional hanbok flat sleeve type and B type composed of western three-dimensional sleeves type. The prototype pattern of A type and prototype pattern of B type were fabricated after modifying and supplementing the pattern on the basis of precedent research. Appearance evaluations and mobility evaluations were also conducted. In the evaluations of the appearance, the prototype pattern in both A type and B type rated better than the control pattern in all items, so it can be judged to be a pattern that creates a better appearance in terms of allowance and design ratio. In the evaluations of the mobility, the prototype pattern was more convenient and a functional pattern with better scores in both A type and B type. If the Cheollik dress prototype patterns developed in this study are distributed, the Cheollik dress will be easy and comfortable to wear as a casual wear, which will help to make dailyization and popularization of Hanbok.

Nowadays Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are a very popular and emerging technology in the world. MANETs helps mobile nodes to communicate with each other anywhere without using infrastructure. For this purpose we need good routing protocols to establish the network between nodes because mobile nodes can change their topology very fast. Mobile node movements are very important features of the routing protocol. They can have a direct effect on the network performance. In this paper, we are going to discuss random walk and random waypoint mobility models and their effects on routing parameters. Previously, mobility models were used to evaluate network performance under the different routing protocols. Therefore, the network performance will be strongly modeled by the nature of the mobility pattern. The routing protocols must rearrange the changes of accurate routes within the order. Thus, the overheads of traffic routing updates are significantly high. For specific network protocols or applications, these mobility patterns have different impacts.
Mobile phone carriers face challenges from three synergistic dimensions: Wireless, social, and mobile. Despite significant advances that have been made about social networks and human mobility, respectively, our knowledge about the interplay between two layers remains largely limited, partly due to the difficulty in obtaining large-scale datasets that could offer at the same time social and mobile information across a substantial population over an extended period of time. In this paper, we take advantage of a massive, longitudinal mobile phone dataset that consists of human mobility and social network information simultaneously, allowing us to explore the impact of human mobility patterns on the underlying social network. We find that human mobility plays an important role in shaping both local and global structural properties of social network. In contrast to the lack of scale in social networks and human movements, we discovered a characteristic distance in physical space between 10 and 20 km that impacts both local clustering and modular structure in social network. We also find a surprising distinction in trajectory overlap that segments social ties into two categories. Our results are of fundamental relevance to quantitative studies of human behavior, and could serve as the basis of anchoring potential theoretical models of human behavior and building and developing new applications using social and mobile technologies.
New X-shaped crystalline molecules have been synthesized through various coupling reactions and their electronic properties were investigated. They exhibit good solubility in common organic solvents and good self-film forming properties. They are intrinsically crystalline as they exhibit well-defined X-ray diffraction patterns from uniform and preferred orientations of molecules. They also exhibited high field effect mobilities in thin film transistor (TFT) and good device performances.

Mobile wireless networks continue to be plagued by theft of identify and intrusion. Both problems can be addressed in two different ways, either by misuse detection or anomaly-based detection. In this paper, we propose a dissimilarity-based anomaly detection method which can effectively identify abnormal behavior such as mobility patterns of mobile wireless networks. In the proposed algorithm, a normal profile is constructed from normal mobility patterns of mobile nodes in mobile wireless networks. From the constructed normal profile, a dissimilarity is computed by a weighted dissimilarity measure. If the value of the weighted dissimilarity measure is greater than the dissimilarity threshold that is a system parameter, an alert message is occurred. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated through a simulation. From the result of the simulation, we know that the proposed method is superior to the performance of other anomaly detection methods using dissimilarity measures.

Mobility Model has drawn more and more attentions since its critical role in Mobile Wireless Networks performance evaluation. This paper analyzes the mobility patterns in the catastrophe rescue scenario, and proposes the Random Waypoint with Base Point mobility model to model these characteristics. We mathematically analyze the speed and spatial stationary distributions of the nodes and derive explicit expressions for the one dimensional case. In order to keep the stationary distribution through the entire simulation procedure, we provide strategies to initialize the speed, location and destination of the nodes at the beginning of the simulation. The simulation results verify the derivations and the proposed methods in this paper. This work gives a deep understanding of the properties of the Random Waypoint with Base Point mobility model and such understanding is necessary to avoid misinterpretation of the simulation results. The conclusions are of practical value for performance analysis of mobile wireless networks, especially for the catastrophe rescue scenario.

In this paper, a new mathematical scheme of Macro Handover Management (MHM) in F-HMIPv6 networks based on Location Based Services (LBS) is proposed. Previous schemes based on F-HMIPv6 protocol usually suffer from three major drawbacks: First, They don't exploit the information about the user mobility behavior in order to reduce handover effects. Second, they only focus on the micro mobility level. Third, they don't consider the quality of service (QoS) of the traffic. The proposed MHM scheme avoids these drawbacks using the available information about Mobile Node (MN) such as user mobility patterns and MN's velocity to predict handover and improve network's QoS. It also takes the traffic type in consideration since it presents a major factor in locating QoS for the user. MHM is analyzed and compared with the F-HMIPv6. The results show that MHM improves the performance in terms of packet delivery cost, location update cost, and handover latency. The design of MHM comprises software package in the MN in addition to a hardware part in the network side. It has implications for communication, design, and pricing of mobile services.

In the mobile communication systems such as PCS(Personal Communication Service), several strategies have been proposed to optimize the signalling traffic load by using the characteristics of traffic and mobile patterns for effective mobility management. According to IS-41 standard, LA(Location Area) consists of static and arbitrarily-defined set of cells, which do not take into account mobility patterns of mobile stations. In this paper, we propose an improved location management mechanism which contains the neighbor cells of the LA selectively using the mobility history of a mobile station and accommodates the LA size adaptively according to the speed of the mobile station. Also, we use the paging priorities for cells in LA to improve the paging efficiency. We compare the performance of conventional mechanism with that of the proposed mechanism using numerical analysis. The analysis results show that the proposed location management mechanism is better than conventional mechanism significantly.

Proxy Mobile IPv6(PMIPv6) is a network-based mobility management protocol and it does not require mobile node's involving in mobility management. In PMIPv6, the Mobile Access Gateway (MAG) incurs a high signaling cost to update the location of a mobile node to the remote Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) if it moves frequently. It may cause excessive signaling traffic and increase a high traffic load on LMA. Therefore, we propose a new mobility management scheme in proxy mobile IPv6 networks with dynamic paging support. To minimize signaling overhead, in our proposal, the size of the paging area is determined dynamically according the changes of mobility and traffic patterns of the mobile node. An analytic model is applied to determine the optimal size of the paging area. The cost analysis using fluid flow model presented in this paper shows that our proposal can achieve performance superior that of PMIPv6 scheme.
