  • Smartphone devices are widely used because of recent improvements in hardware device, network infrastructure, and emergences in open mobile platforms. These changes provide various advantages and cause security problems. One of the solutions to prevent these problems is that applying of the virtualization technology to mobile environment ha., attracted attention. In this paper, we proposed the virtualization technology which is based on security-enhanced mobile platform scheme, for secure mobile environment based on the secure execution and process concealing technology.

A Study on the Influencing Factors of Consumers' Satisfaction of the Omni-Channel Applications and Store Satisfaction (옴니채널 앱만족도 영향요인과 점포이용의도에 관한 연구)

  • The growth of online malls encourages the existing offline stores to manage their online stores or reinforce the purchasing service through related mobile applications (apps). This may seem to be the omni-channel strategy for connecting the existing customers to online shopping. This study, research on offline stores' acceptance of and satisfaction with smart phone apps, attempted to arrange some factors allowing consumers to be satisfied with such apps, and examine whether the satisfaction with the apps lead to that with the stores based on the EMTAM (Extended Mobile Technology Acceptance Model). In particular, the existing stores trying to enhance the omni-channel put on emphasis on the synergy between online and offline stores, rather than replace offline store with online ones. The results of an analysis showed that the factors influencing the satisfaction with apps included mobile usefulness (MU), mobile ease of use (MEOU) and mobile enjoyment (MEJ), and that the satisfaction with them had an effect on that with stores. On the basis of the findings, this study summarizes theoretical and practical suggestions.

  • In this paper, an intelligent control strategy for a mobile vehicle, based on the technology of the artificial neural network in a Neurocomputer, is presented. The mobile vehicle learned recognizing and driving knowledge by a neurocomputer. Moment Invariants computation was used to extract the shape of objects. The technologies of both neurocomputer and Neumann-type computer are applied into the control system, and make the mobile vehicle be capable of tracking designated objects and avoiding obstacles.

  • To launch effective mobile Internet marketing strategies, firms need to understand mobile Internet user behavior. Thus in this study we investigated factors that affect on the repurchase intention of mobile Internet users. A random sample of 501 users was surveyed. Overall satisfaction (mediating factor), flow and interactivity factors (initial factor) were found to have the most significant impact on the reuse intention and discrepancy factor is not significant to the reuse intention.

  • 하이브리드 센서 네트워크에서 static sensor node들이 초기 배치된 후, coverage-hole을 결정하여, hole을 커버할 mobile sensor node들의 필요한 수 및 위치를 결정하고 배치하는 연구는 상당한 수준에 이르렀다. 그러나 mobile sensor node들을 호출하고 배치하는데 너무 많은 에너지를 소모하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 coverage-hole에서 mobile sensor node들을 호출하기 전에 mobile sensor node들을 최대한 coverage-hole에 가깝게 배치하여, 호출하는데 소요되는 에너지를 획기적으로 절감하였다.

  • The development of mobile communication technology has brought big changes in all the industry. By applying this technology to horse racing betting system, the technological possibility and the operational achievements could be finally measured. To judge the possibility that this technology can be applicable to horse racing industry, We decide to divide the horse racing course into two side(the inside and outside). And then for the inside of the racecourse, the wireless data technology is chosen and also for the outside of the racecourse, the wireless internet technology is opted. The application of mobile communication technology to horse racing betting is proceeded by the strategic cooperation among betting enterprise , communication enterprise and information supply enterprise. Betting by using mobile instruments in horse racing makes the records of the turnover and the new customer bigger and bigger. Therefore the gambling section can be also new model in the mobile business.

Perception on the Use of Mobile Phones in Retrieving Information from Academic Libraries: A developing country perspective

  • The purpose of the study is to identify the perception of the Library and Information Science (LIS) specialists about the use of mobile phones in retrieving information. It investigates the present status of the LIS specialists regarding mobile phone usage, perceptions regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and points out the possible drawbacks and their solutions for embracing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and providing some suggestions. The methodology includes a quantitative approach. The authors used a survey method using a structured questionnaire to measure the perception of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The findings confirmed that the majority (72%) of LIS specialists have the experience of using mobile phones for more than 10 years. Findings also indicate that the LIS specialists have agreed with the statements of advantages of using mobile phones. This paper concludes that the respondents also agreed regarding the possible advantages of introducing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The paper explores the original perceptions of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries.

Factors for the Adoption of Smartphone-based Mobile Banking : On User's Technology Readiness and Expertise (스마트폰 기반 모바일뱅킹 채택에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 기술준비도와 전문지식을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine factors affecting an individual's acceptance of mobile banking, which is a typical example of smartphone based self-service. We derive three personal traits(positive technology readiness, negative technology readiness and individual's expertise) as antecedent variables that affect intention to use mobile banking from previous studies, and adopt a technology readiness and acceptance model(TRAM) to investigate factors that determine an individual's intention to use mobile banking. TRAM, which integrates technology readiness index(TRI) into the technology acceptance model (TAM) in the context of consumer adoption of e-service systems, is adopted to examine personal traits influencing on the factors forming the attitude of mobile banking. The new findings of this study are as follows. First, individual's expertise and positive technology readiness(ptr) have significant effect on both perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use. However, negative technology readiness(ntr) has significant effect on only perceived easy of use.

Multicast Extension to Proxy Mobile IPv6 for Mobile Multicast Services

  • Recently, Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) has received much attention as a mobility management protocol in next-generation all-IP mobile networks. While the current research related to PMIPv6 mainly focuses on providing efficient handovers for unicast-based applications, there has been relatively little interest in supporting multicast services with PMIPv6. To provide support for multicast services with PMIPv6, there are two alternative approaches called Mobile Access Gateway (MAG)-based subscription and Local Mobility Anchor (LMA)-based subscription. However, MAG-based subscription causes a large overhead for multicast joining and LMA-based subscription provides non-optimal multicast routing paths. The two approaches may also cause a high packet loss rate. In this paper, we propose an efficient PMIPv6-based multicast protocol that aims to provide an optimal delivery path for multicast data and to reduce handover delay and packet loss rate. Through simulation studies, we found that the proposed protocol outperforms existing multicast solutions for PMIPv6 in terms of end-to-end delay, service disruption period, and the number of lost packets during handovers.
