As increasing of smartphone penetration over the world, various mobile payment services have been emerged and fraud transactions have drastically increased. Although many financial companies have deployed security solutions to detect fraud transactions in on/off-line environment, mobile payment services still lack fraud detection solutions and researches. The mobile payment is mainly comprised of micro-payments and payment environment is different from other payments, so mobile-specialized fraud detection is needed. In this paper, we propose a FDS (Fraud Detection System) based on data mining for mobile payment services. The method of this paper is applied to the real data provided by a PG (Payment Gateway) company in Korea. The proposed FDS consists of two phases; (1) the first phase is focused on classifying transactions at high speed (2) the second is designed to detect abnormal transactions with high accuracy. We could detect 13 transactions per second with 93% accuracy rate.
Thanks to popularization of smart phone, mobile payment market is growing rapidly. As the obligatory use of digital certificate is abolished, easy-to-use payment that can settle with only password is being launched one after another. But its spreading speed is not fast highly. Because of concern about personal information leakage and security, unchangeability of payment habit, insufficiency of consumer protection, inadequacy of payment infrastructure and all sorts of regulations, easy-to-use payment is not activated. Recently global IT companys are entering mobile payment market competitively. It is because the sense of crisis that their survival can be dangerous from now on if they get left behind Fintech innovation and the mentality that they try to take the leadership of mobile payment market process. In this situation, the thorough preparation and a lot of effort are required to promote our autonomous easy-to-use payment growth without dependance on foreign country's. In this paper, the problems of local mobile easy-to-use payment are addressed in depth and the activation measures such as flexible and discriminative security, construction of customer protection system, law system maintenance, service differentiation are proposed.

As one of the four basic technologies of IOT (Internet of Things), M2M technology whose advance could influence on the technology of Internet of Things has a rapid development. Mobile Payment is one of the most widespread applications in M2M. Due to applying wireless network in Mobile Payment, the security issues based on wireless network have to be solved. The technologies applied in solutions generally include two sorts, encryption mechanism and authentication mechanism, the focus in this paper is the authentication mechanism of Mobile Payment. In this paper, we consider that there are four vital things in the authentication mechanism of Mobile Payment: two-way authentication, re-authentication, roaming authentication and inside authentication. Two-way authentication is to make the mobile device and the center system trust each other, and two-way authentication is the foundation of the other three. Re-authentication is to re-establish the active communication after the mobile subscriber changes his point of attachment to the network. Inside authentication is to prevent the attacker from obtaining the privacy via attacking the mobile device if the attacker captures the mobile device. Roaming authentication is to prove the mobile subscriber's legitimate identity to the foreign agency when he roams into a foreign place, and roaming authentication can be regarded as the integration of the above three. After making a simulation of our proposed authentication mechanism and analyzing the existed schemes, we summarize that the authentication mechanism based on the mentioned above in this paper and the encryption mechanism establish the integrate security framework of Mobile Payment together. This makes the parties of Mobile Payment apply the services which Mobile Payment provides credibly.

In today's society, the majority of people use smartphones, and mobile ordering and payment systems for their convenience are gaining their attention. The mobile payment market is on the rise, with over 71% of the market that is already formed in China. Many mobile payment markets are growing in Korea, which is a system that is provided only in large franchises. In this paper, we propose a mobile ordering and payment system using short-range wireless communication technology that can be easily used not only in franchises but also in the small businesses, and for the convenience of users in modern society to make a system that enables ordering and payment through mobile to communicate between the devices developed by short range wireless communication technology, smartphone and the main server.

Several authentication methods have been developed to make use of tokens in the mobile networks and smart payment systems. Token used in smart payment system is genearated in place of Primary Account Number. The use of token in each payment transaction is advantageous because the token authentication prevents enemy from intercepting credit card number over the network. Existing token authentication methods work together with the cryptogram, which is computed using the shared key that is provisioned by the token service provider. Long lifetime and repeated use of shared key cause potential brawback related to its vulnerability against the brute-force attack. This paper proposes a per-transaction shared key mechanism, where the per-transaction key is agreed between the mobile device and token service provider for each smart payment transaction. From server viewpoint, per-transaction key list is easy to handle because the per-transaction key has short lifetime below a couple of seconds and the server does not need to maintain the state for the mobile device. We analyze the optimum size of the per-transaction shared key which satisfy the requirements for transaction latency and security strength for secure payment transactions.

Diverse application service such as mobile payment, access control or smart poster have been provided by using smart devices with built-in Near Field Communication technology. Especially, a mobile payment system can provide convenience to its users, but it also can poses including data disclosure while transmitting. There are vulnerabilities while generating session keys used to encrypt data in transaction processes as proposed in KS X 6928, the standard for mobile payment system. Therefore, in this thesis, I analyzed weaknesses of session keys used to encrypt transaction data and proposed a more secure mobile payment system based on NFC to enhance security. The proposed system will provide security functionalities such as key freshness, mutual authentication and key confirmation.
Purpose As the mobile easy payment service grows fast, competition in the payment service market is getting stronger. On the other hand, there are few studies on the users' utilization results. Therefore, this study explains the continuous use intention of mobile easy payment Services based on PAM and value model. Design/methodology/approach This study proposed an extended model by integrating PAM, which is a representative model of continuous use intention in IS field, and value model of mobile field. Also this study empirically tested 298 users who have experience of mobile easy Payment service. The structural equation model was used to verify the research model and hypotheses. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, this study verifies that perceived usefulness and satisfaction were determinants of continuous use intention in mobile easy Payment services. Expectation confirmation has been proved to be a positive predictor of satisfaction and perceived usefulness. Also, among the value factors, perceived ease was not a valid predictor of satisfaction, and the remaining factors were positive predictors of satisfaction.

Various services using smart phones are being provided, and a variety of services are also provided in payment fields. Since the mobile payment services is closely related to the monetary part, various characteristics of the mobile system have a close relation with use trust. In this study, accessibility, compatibility, and security were selected as important factors in the mobile payment systems. We will examine how these system factors affect users' cognitive trust, emotional responses such as positive emotions and satisfaction. We surveyed users of mobile payment systems to achieve our research purposes. SPSS 23 and SmartPLS 2.0 were used for the analysis. The results showed that all system factors influenced cognitive trust and emotional response. However, positive emotions did not affect satisfaction. However, when we examine the relationship between emotional responses, positive emotions do not affect satisfaction.
