With advances in QR code, mobile is becoming one of important channels in the fashion retail industries. This study attempts to understand the importance of QR code utilization in creating multi-channel business model. Study objectives are to classify types of multi-channel retailing by QR code utilization and to explore the role of QR code technology in strategic marketing elements for types of multichannel retailer. As an exploratory approach, a total of 78 news articles regarding QR code issues were reviewed and analyzed by focusing on 48retailers seleted in this study. The results found seven dimensions of QR code marketing strategies: abundant product information, additional information contents, transaction accessibility, connectedness to channels, location based service, loyalty program and multimedia advertising. Based a combination of channels and level of mobile apps' activation, multichannel retailers utilizing QR code technology were classified into four types; bricks-click-active mobile model, bricks-click-inactive mobile model, bricks-click model, and click-active mobile model. There were differences of using QR code marketing strategies among multichannel models. According to results, for bricks-and-mortar retailers, QR code was critical to integrate shopping experience with merchandise or sales promotions across channels. In addition, for non-store retailers, the QR code utilization was successful in expanding mobile channels, which can promote retail sales by a two-way interaction with customers via the mobile apps.
Population-level learning has traditionally been used to provide an explanation for the underlying mechanism of industry change. But it has yet to examine the impact on strategic decisions such as market entry. This conceptual paper aims to provide an insight into how population-level learning affects entry likelihood by acting as a tool for interpreting population-level changes. We study this in the context of the fast-paced mobile gaming industry where population-level information is salient and develop a set of propositions with regard to the likelihood of entry.
This study models the operational competence of mobile service providers as an endogenous factor that presumably impacts the mobile commerce (m-commerce) adoption of consumers and examines the relationship between the perceptions of consumers toward the operational performance of m-commerce providers and their m-commerce adoption likelihood. Quantitative research is applied with data collected from wireless Internet consumers in South Korea. The data is analyzed using factor analysis and structural equation modeling methods. The findings suggest that the operational competence of m-commerce providers is a significant antecedent to the m-commerce use and adoption of consumers in Korea. In this environment, the operational competence of mobile service providers in managing facilities, equipment, systems and technology plays a central role in enhancing m-commerce use and adoption. Based on the results, important managerial implications are discussed.

The purpose of this study is explore the effect of brand marketing on the circulation structure factors as corporation image, brand image, and purchase intention and to clarify the causal sequence model in mobile phone corporation The results confirmed the suggested hypotheses. In addition, the analyses showed that effects of both brand marketing-related variables and the circulation structure factors as CI (corporation image) and BI(brand image) and PI(purchase intention) are mediated by the other variables. Based on the findings, the study showed that the effect of brand marketing indirectly on the purchase intention is mediated by corporation image and brand image in mobile phone corporation.

In this paper, we propose an intelligent marketing service system that can provide custom advertisements and events to both businesses and customers by identifying the location and contents using the ultrasonic signals and feature information in voice signals. We also develop the encoding and decoding algorithm of ultrasonic signals for this system and analyze the performance evaluation results. With the development of the hyper-connected society, the on-line marketing has been activated and is growing in size. Existing store marketing applications have disadvantages that customers have to find out events or promotional materials that the headquarters or stores throughusing the corresponding applications whenever they visit them. To solve these problems, there are attempts to create intelligent marketing tools using GPS technology and voice recognition technology. However, this approach has difficulties in technology development due to accuracy of location and speed of comparison and retrieval of voice recognition technology, and marketing services for customer relation are also much simplified.
Purpose In recent years, mobile payment service users have been rapidly increasing. Previous researchers focused on the mobile usage situation such as the elements of mobile payment service, usage pattern, and user behaviors, and the research that is approached from the viewpoint of the user is still insufficient. The aim of this study is to suggest a acceptance-resistance motivation model of choosing a mobile payment service based on the Herzbergs Two-Factor Theory by investigating users' motivation and hygiene factors. Design/methodology/approach For the purpose, literature reviews on factors of choosing a mobile payment service were conducted and classified motivation and hygiene factors. Two hypotheses were set as follows: Hypothesis I is that motivation factors have a positive impact on the choice of mobile payment service, and Hypothesis II is that hygiene factors have a negative impact on the choice of mobile payment service. To test two hypotheses, this study conducted an online questionnaire survey and a multivariate discriminant analysis. Findings The result found that mobile payment service is more likely to be replaced with mobile by improving convenience, simplicity, and ease of use that affect the acceptance motivation of mobile payment service. This result supported the Hypothesis I but not Hypothesis II and contributed to provide implications for future mobile payment service development and marketing utilization.

In this paper, we propose a simple one-click marketing solution for mobile devices which can advertise a product which is embedded in a mobile video while watching the video on a smartphone. If a specific product of interest appears in the video to the user, one can simply click on the product in the video and a pop-up window with information about the product is proposed. The implementation of the system is expected to enable users to gain real-time information about the product while watching the video without having to search for the product again after watching the movie, and thereby facilitating more mobile commerce. We use a two-fold system to prevent the failure of tracking which often occurs on a single online tracking system, so that the user cannot always get the commercial product information.
Purpose - This thesis aims to propose a method to help financial institutions improve their customers' convenience online and offline through a Bluetooth based App using the tool of a beacon. The emergence of smartphones in the 21st century and their increasing use makes it possible to search for information easily. Research design, data, and methodology - With the short-distance Bluetooth technology for smartphones, which finds users within a radius of 50m to provide the functions of message transmission and mobile payment, users can access information services and use mobile coupons in certain premises. Thus, beacon-based O2O technology has been developed. Results - This study offers a method of attracting customers through an O2O marketing strategy that overcomes the existing limitations of Web and Offline media. Conclusions -Since beacon technology has the advantage of more accurate positioning than GPS, financial institutions provide their product information for users through the basic function of a beacon, using an O2O (Online to Offline) marketing solution and, therefore, effectively enable customers to make relevant payments online and conduct their financial actions offline.
