As the mobile telecommunications industry in Korea boasts record-high revenue from its businesses, consumers and other industries are looking for new business applications and opportunities using mobile technologies. Many firms are seeking guidelines or business models for an effective use of this new mobile technology in their operations. This paper reviews the characteristics that distinguish mobile marketing, and analyzes marketing approaches which utilize the potential of the new mobile technologies. This paper shows that the new mobile advertising channel is not only complementary to traditional marketing channels, but also delivers benefits for multiple parties involved in mobile marketing. The key success factors in the new OB (Oriental Brewery) marketing campaign include a shortening of the stages in the AIDMA model and a broadening of customer contact points by exposing the brand through well-coordinated marketing efforts. The OB case shows that a mutually beneficial relationship between co-marketing participants can lead to a win-win marketing strategy. It also highlights that collaborative channel management in mobile marketing methodology is critical for successful mobile marketing.

This increases the related cost, which makes the continued development of small and medium-sized game companies more difficult. Therefore, this study attempts to understand consumer values according to the type of mobile game marketing and to explore the factors that affect the switching intention of mobile games based on real users of mobile games. As a result of this study, it was found that the playfulness and economics of mobile game marketing have positive effect on the attitudes towards mobile game advertisements and attitudes towards mobile games, but the attractiveness of mobile game marketing using celebrities does not. It was found that attitudes towards mobile game advertisements and attitudes towards mobile games have an influence on the switching intention of mobile games. Through this, we intend to provide useful implications for small and medium game companies to seek effective marketing plans.

The purpose of this study is to develop and present a strategic framework for mobile Internet marketing in the $Web^2$ environment. The $Web^2$ mobile Internet marketing is characterized by services, such as augmented reality and social network services. Considering the changes in the effects and types of advertisements in the mobile Internet, few studies of mobile advertisements have been conducted thus far in the $Web^2$ environment, including the cloud computing environment. Accordingly, this research aims to identify the relationships between importance and satisfaction and to uncover the characteristics of mobile advertisements through smart phones using the IPA (Importance-performance Analysis) methodology in the $Web^2$ environment. To induce the minimum required characteristics of a mobile advertisement in terms of the importance and satisfaction of IPA, Kano's model is applied to this analysis. The study also probes the relationships between the overall satisfaction and factors of each dimension of IPA through a regression analysis. As a result, this study presents four types of $Web^2$ mobile Internet marketing strategies. It was also confirmed that the maintenance reinforcement factors of the IPA dimension affect the degree of overall satisfaction. This study has implications for businesses and researchers preparing $Web^2$ mobile services and marketing.
