  • The competition for standardization in the enterprise environment starts with the data tier of the back-end and the standard enterprise middle tier is being stabilized by standardization as it is accepted as the Spring Framework. In addition, with the advent of new devices in an increasingly rapid cycle, securing compatibility with web and mobile services has become an important competitive advantage for web service companies. However, companies are unable to secure competent technical personnel appropriate for the rapidly changing environment of the information generation, and the curriculum of educational universities does not reflect the demand of new competency-oriented curriculum. Therefore, in this study, in order to acquire competency-oriented skills required for such an enterprise system platform environment and to develop a curriculum, the system using Spring Data JPA in the Spring Framework environment was implemented through documenting for each analysis and design step. It aims to provide a reference model for the full stack competency-based curriculum and capstone design curriculum that can be applied immediately in the enterprise environment.

  • Mobile service, which is related to all stages of supply chain, can enhance the efficiency of perception and response of the participants. The advantage of mobile service is ubiquity, speed, traceability, positioning, personalization and safety. The purpose of this paper is to propose an overall framework utilizing mobile service in SCM. In the areas of inventory management, remote diagnostics, communications with field workers, and order fulfillment, customer-centric mobile supply web is proposed and implemented for the wireless warehousing and replenishment system.

  • In this paper, we design ZigBee RF based framework for mobile web service on collected data by sensor node and transmitting data to data base by sensor network and remote sensing server through wireless connection. The proposed system is an integrated platform of sensor network for the sensor management and providing SOA based sensor web access. This paper combines SOA technology with sensor network. composes sensor node as web view, and provides high capability. extensiveness, reliability, and usability to the user who accesses to sensor web. The mobile message conversion module, SOAP message processing module. WSDL message generator, and mobile web service module is embodied for improving the capacity of the framework. The capacity evaluation of local wireless communication system which is proposed in this paper is analyzed through NS-2 simulation.

Development of Patrol Robot using DGPS and Curb Detection (DGPS와 연석추출을 이용한 순찰용 로봇의 개발)

  • This paper demonstrates the development of a mobile robot for patrol. We fuse differential GPS, angle sensor and odometry data using the framework of extended Kalman filter to localize a mobile robot in outdoor environments. An important feature of road environment is the existence of curbs. So, we also propose an algorithm to find out the position of curbs from laser range finder data using Hough transform. The mobile robot builds the map of the curbs of roads and the map is used fur tracking and localization. The patrol robot system consists of a mobile robot and a control station. The mobile robot sends the image data from a camera to the control station. The remote control station receives and displays the image data. Also, the patrol robot system can be used in two modes, teleoperated or autonomous. In teleoperated mode, the teleoperator commands the mobile robot based on the image data. On the other hand, in autonomous mode, the mobile robot has to autonomously track the predefined waypoints. So, we have designed a path tracking controller to track the path. We have been able to confirm that the proposed algorithms show proper performances in outdoor environment through experiments in the road.

  • Traditional applications are executed using the restricted resources of a single computer, do not consider contextual information, and can not support mobile users. However, ubiquitous applications provide optimal services for mobile users using the various resources of computers and the contextual information around users and devices. Thus, ubiquitous applications need to have the functionality of context awareness, user mobility and QoS adaptability. This paper design the CMQ(Context-aware, Mobility-aware, QoS-aware) middleware framework for ubiquitous applications and implement the middleware framework using Jini and Java. The implemented middleware system can process various contexts, provide the session handoff for a mobile user, and allow applications to adjust its QoS dynamically.

  • A swarm robot system consists of with multiple mobile robots, each of which is called an agent. Each agent interacts with others and cooperates for a given task and a given environment. For the swarm robotic system, the loss of the entire work capability by malfunction or damage to a single robot is relatively small and replacement and repair of the robot is less costly. So, it is suitable to perform more complex tasks. The essential component for a swarm robotic system is an inter-robot collaboration strategy for teamwork. Recently, the swarm intelligence theory is applied to robotic system domain as a new framework of collective robotic system design. In this paper, FA (Firefly Algorithm) which is based on firefly's reaction to the lights of other fireflies and their social behavior is employed to optimize the group behavior of multiple robots. The main application of the firefly algorithm is performed on path planning of swarm mobile robots and its effectiveness is verified by simulations under various conditions.

  • The UMTS is the most widely used specifications to deploy a mobile system and it supports an automatic roaming function. Users in the UMTS can use their phone numbers even in foreign countries without having to change their mobile phones. Also some users want to use other phone numbers which are allocated in foreign countries. To meet such requirements, many methods have been proposed. However, those require much cost to adopt or are not easy to use. In this paper, we propose a software framework that provides multiple MSISDNs with a single IMSI. The roaming SCP is adopted to modify the procedure of the location update and the mobile-terminated call. In the performance evaluation, we compared the proposed scheme with the standard scheme and the schemes in the related works. The results showed that the proposed scheme has 7.6% lower signaling cost than the mobile-station-based scheme and 9.7% lower cost than the telecommunication-network-based scheme.

  • In this paper, we propose a framework for synchronization of spatial data between mobile devices and a server by using SyncML(Synchronization Markup Language) that is standard specification for synchronization protocol. We used GML (Geographic Markup Language) to support interoperability of spatial data between various data sources. We also used metadata and catalog service to access and integrate distributed spatial data, considering relationships of spatial data and non-spatial data.

  • Google Android framework consists of an operating system and software platform for mobile devices. Using a general-purpose Linux operating system in mobile device has some advantages but also security risks. Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) is a kernel-based protection approach which can help to reduce potential damage from successful attacks. However, there are some challenges to integrate SELinux in Android. In this research, we do a study on how to do the integration and find out four challenges. The first one is that the Android file system (yaff2) does not support security namespace for extended attribute (xattr) which is required by SELinux. The second one is that it's difficult to apply SELinux policy to Dalvik process on which an Android application runs on. The third one is that Android lacks methods, tools and libraries to interact with SELinux. The last one is how to update the SELinux policy automatically when installing or removing an application. In this paper, we propose solutions for the above limitations that make the SELinux more adaptive and suitable for Android framework.

  • This paper is about adult certification on Mobile RFID Service Environments coming through the combination of RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) technology, as the core technology of ubiquitous environments, and mobile telecommunication technology. To overcome the shortcoming of simple adult certification on current internet, we suggest a framework for content-based classification and propose an adult certification system using it. At first, we explain conventional methods for adult certification, and show a criteria of content-based classification for preventing an exposure of adult contents from minors. Additionally, we describe data structure and system for the proposed adult certification on mobile RFID environment, and finish it with concluding remarks.
