  • 본 논문은 모바일 장치에 의한 데이터베이스 관리 시스템에 관해 기술한다. 본 시스템은 모바일 장치를 사용해서 언제 어디서든지 즉시 원격으로 데이터베이스를 관리 가능하다. 이를 위해 모바일 디바이스와 인터페이스 가능한 dataset server CE와 모바일 장치에서 운용 가능한 데이터베이스 관리 시스템 및 모바일 장치를 데스크톱 컴퓨터와 연결 시켜주는 웹 서비스 프로그램을 개발했다. 외부의 모바일 장치는 웹 서비스 기능과 무선으로 연결한다. 개발한 시스템은 dataset server CE 클라이언트 엔진, 웹 서비스 서버 에이전트 및 모바일 관리 시스템을 포함한다. 애플리케이션 프로그램을 이용해서 시스템의 기능을 테스트 했고, 테스트 결과 개발한 시스템이 원래의 목적대로 잘 운용됨을 확인했다.

Simulated Dynamic C&C Server Based Activated Evidence Aggregation of Evasive Server-Side Polymorphic Mobile Malware on Android

  • Diverse types of malicious code such as evasive Server-side Polymorphic are developed and distributed in third party open markets. The suspicious new type of polymorphic malware has the ability to actively change and morph its internal data dynamically. As a result, it is very hard to detect this type of suspicious transaction as an evidence of Server-side polymorphic mobile malware because its C&C server was shut downed or an IP address of remote controlling C&C server was changed irregularly. Therefore, we implemented Simulated C&C Server to aggregate activated events perfectly from various Server-side polymorphic mobile malware. Using proposed Simulated C&C Server, we can proof completely and classify veiled server-side polymorphic malicious code more clearly.

Evaluation of Geo-based Image Fusion on Mobile Cloud Environment using Histogram Similarity Analysis

  • Mobility and cloud platform have become the dominant paradigm to develop web services dealing with huge and diverse digital contents for scientific solution or engineering application. These two trends are technically combined into mobile cloud computing environment taking beneficial points from each. The intention of this study is to design and implement a mobile cloud application for remotely sensed image fusion for the further practical geo-based mobile services. In this implementation, the system architecture consists of two parts: mobile web client and cloud application server. Mobile web client is for user interface regarding image fusion application processing and image visualization and for mobile web service of data listing and browsing. Cloud application server works on OpenStack, open source cloud platform. In this part, three server instances are generated as web server instance, tiling server instance, and fusion server instance. With metadata browsing of the processing data, image fusion by Bayesian approach is performed using functions within Orfeo Toolbox (OTB), open source remote sensing library. In addition, similarity of fused images with respect to input image set is estimated by histogram distance metrics. This result can be used as the reference criterion for user parameter choice on Bayesian image fusion. It is thought that the implementation strategy for mobile cloud application based on full open sources provides good points for a mobile service supporting specific remote sensing functions, besides image fusion schemes, by user demands to expand remote sensing application fields.

  • In this paper, we developed a more efficient system for the remote control and monitoring of a wheeled mobile robot using internet without spatial limitation. The hardware configuration of the remote control system for a wheeled mobile robot includes a client PC executed on the remote site, a embedded web-server and a mobile robot with many measuring equipments. The communication between a client PC and a embedded web-server is implemented through internet. And the Bluetooth module is used for connecting a embedded web-server and a mobile robot. A GUI program has been developed by using JavaScript in order to easily control a mobile robot on a client PC.

  • There are various researches on mobile robot systems. Connection method between server and client of mobile robot system is one of them. In the case of mobile robot system, when connection method between server and client is wireless than wire, applications may be expanded. Also in remote monitoring environment using mobile robot system, we are interested in an effective transmission of the image information between server and client. In this paper, Bluetooth is used for connection method between server and client. One of the major applications of Bluetooth is the cable replacement for mobile and peripheral devices. Using Bluetooth, we propose the control method of mobile robot system. Bluetooth offers fast and reliable transmissions of both voice and data over the globally available 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band. It has the advantage of small size, low power and low cost. It has the disadvantage of limited range and limited bandwidth. Also in order to transfer effectively image information between remote site(server) and mobile robot system(client) using Bluetooth, we applied to MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 image compression techniques and the results are compared with each other.

차량 탑재형 모바일 디지털 사이니지 구현 (Implementation of Mobile Digital Signage System on the Moving Vehicle)

  • We propose a vehicle-mounted, location-aware mobile digital signage system that can be used for public transportation through mobile communication. This paper proposes the installations of the LED display panels at the backside of the bus., which display traffic information to cars behind the bus. Information to be displayed would include, but is not limited to, road information, public commercials and private commercials. We propose the system architecture and further implement the prototype of mobile digital signage system for demonstration. The system is based on the Client-Server system. Each bus has a client terminal which detects the current location by a GPS receiver and sends its location information to the server using mobile communication function. The terminal device receives advertisements and traffic information from the server and displays it to the large LCD or LED panel installed at the inside and outside of the bus. We use the Android smartphone as a client system, which inherently equipped with GPS and mobile communication function. GPS detects the location of bus and reports its geo-location data to the traffic information center server via a wireless communication network. On the server side, we developed a specially designed control server, where it communicates with the other traffic information center and updates and manages the databases contents being displayed by each position. The server contains location dependent variable information and returns selected information back to the vehicle in real time. Spatial database is used to process location based data. Server system periodically receives the real time traffic information from the road information center database. And it process the information by bus location and bus line number. In this paper, we propose a mobile digital signage service and explain the system implementation of this service.

  • EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans)는 서버 상의 Java 컴포넌트와 그 컴포넌트를 위한 동작 환경을 제공하는 전체 프레임웍(Framework)이다. EJB 에서 동작하는 컴포넌트를 엔터프라이즈 빈(Enterprise Bean)이라고 하고, 그 컴포넌트가 동작하기 위한 환경을 컨테이너(Container)라 한다 EJB 에서는 기존에 개발자가 직접 컴포넌트로 제공해 주어야 하는 트랜잭션, 영속성, 보안문제, 데이터베이스 연결 풀링, 쓰레딩 관리 같은 기능을 컨테이너에서 처리해 줌으로 일반 개발자는 복잡한 하부 로직에 신경쓰지 않으면서 더 쉽고 빠르게 동일한 기능을 구현할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 EJB 컨테이너를 설계함에 있어서 하나의 중요한 요소인 트랜잭션 관리에 관한 설계를 논한다.

  • 웹 서버에서 로그파일은 웹 서버에 대한 접속정보를 저장한다. 이 정보를 분석을 하면 웹 서비스를 하는데 있어서 서비스의 질을 높이는데 좋은 참고자료가 된다. 또한, 웹 서버에 이상이 생겼을 경우 발생한 오류를 조기에 발견하는 데에도 사용되는 중요한 자료이다. 현재 이러한 로그파일을 이용한 많은 웹 서버 관리기들이 있지만 대다수가 유선기반으로 이동성에는 취약한점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 웹 서버 관리기로 이러한 단점을 해결하고자 하였다. 웹 서버 관리기를 모바일로 구현할 경우에는 언제 어디서든지 쉽게 웹 서버 로그정보를 확인할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 실시간으로 로그파일에 접근하여 최근의 정보를 바로 확인이 가능하다.

Mobile Client-Server System for Real-time Continuous Query of Moving Objects

  • In this paper, a Mobile Continuous Query Processing System (MCQPS) is designed to solve problems related to database hoarding, maintenance of shared data consistency, and optimization of logging. These problems are caused by weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client-server environments. We show the superiority of the proposed MCQPS by comparing its performance to the Client-Intercept-Server (C-I-S) model. In addition, several experimental results show the effectiveness of our proposed indexing structure and methodology for real-time continuous queries.

  • Many researches are going on with regard to issues and problems related to mobile database systems, which are caused by the weak connectivity of wireless networks, the mobility and the portability of mobile clients. Mobile computing satisfies user's demands for convenience and performance to use information at any time and in any place, but it has many problems to be solved in the aspect of data management. The purpose of our study is to Implement Real-Time Mobile Query Processing System(MQPS) to solve problems related to database hoarding, the maintenance of shared dataconsistency and the optimization of logging, which are caused by the weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client server environments. In addition, we proved the superiority of the proposed MQPS by comparing its performance to the C I S(Client-Intercept-Srever) model.
