전맹인의 접근성 향상을 위한 모바일 음성 메모 파일 관리 서비스 (Mobile Voice Note File Management Service For Improving Accessibility of the Blind)

  • Recently, people with disabilities also search for and collect information from the web through smart devices, and save collected information on smart devices or take notes. For non-disabled people, various memo applications are provided on the market, so it is more convenient to choose according to their preference. However, existing memo services are limited for use by blind people due to the importance of visual information. The problem with blind people when using smart devices is that the screen is not recognized, so it is not possible to check in which location the menu of the application exists. In addition, it is difficult to input and manipulate text, and systematic file management and control are not possible. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the development of voice memo service that blind people can use only voice and hearing information and can operate menu with Bluetooth remote controller. We will develop a system that includes a comprehensive voice file management function for storing, searching, playing, and deleting files, rather than simply storing voice files.

  • 모바일 기기를 사용한 실시간 비디오 영상처리분야의 중요 객체탐색 및 추적의 문제에 있어서 난제는 복잡한 배경속에서 전경을 구분해 내는 일이다. 본 논문에서는 기계학습을 위한 특성벡터 선정의 문제를 위한 문맥인식 모델을 제시하여 잡음제거를 위한 기계학습기반의 구분자를 구현하였다. 수학적으로 NP-hard로 알려진 가장 가까운 이웃을 사용한 문맥인식 특성벡터 선정 알고리즘의 구현에 있어서, 본 논문은 연산횟수를 줄인 유사방법론에 대해 자세히 거론하였다. 또한, 문맥인식 성격을 가미한 특성벡터 선정을 통해 얻어진 특성 공간에서의 향상된 분리성에 대해 주성분 분석을 통해 엄밀한 분석결과를 제시하였다. 전반적인 성능 향상의 정도를 계측하기 위해 다양한 기계학습 방법론, 예를 들어, 다층신경망, 지원벡터기계, 나이브베이지안, 회귀분석 등을 사용해 비교결과를 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 방법론의 성능과 계산상 자원사용에 대한 내용을 결론으로 서술하였다.

Research on Per-cell Codebook based Channel Quantization for CoMP Transmission

  • Coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission has been regarded as a potential technology for LTE-Advanced. In frequency division duplexing systems, channel quantization is applied for reporting channel state information (CSI). Considering the dynamic number of cooperation base stations (BSs), asymmetry feature of CoMP channels and high searching complexity, simply increasing the size of the codebook used in traditional multiple antenna systems to quantize the global CSI of CoMP systems directly is infeasible. Per-cell codebook based channel quantization to quantize local CSI for each BS separately is an effective method. In this paper, the theoretical upper bounds of system throughput are derived for two codeword selection schemes, independent codeword selection (ICS) and joint codeword selection (JCS), respectively. The feedback overhead and selection complexity of these two schemes are analyzed. In the simulation, the system throughput of ICS and JCS is compared. Both analysis and simulation results show that JCS has a better tradeoff between system throughput and feedback overhead. The ICS has obvious advantage in complexity, but it needs additional phase information (PI) feedback for obtaining the approximate system throughput with JCS. Under the same number of feedback bits constraint, allocating the number of bits for channel direction information (CDI) and PI quantization can increase the system throughput, but ICS is still inferior to JCS. Based on theoretical analysis and simulation results, some recommendations are given with regard to the application of each scheme respectively.

  • 많은 사람이 방문하는 웹 사이트의 특성이 무엇인지 알기 위하여 37개의 다(多) 방문 성형외과 웹 사이트들을 69개의 비교 대상 성형외과 웹 사이트와 비교하였다. 36개의 객관적인 웹 사이트 속성을 선정하여 106개 성형외과 웹 사이트를 조사하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 분석 방법으로는 다중 판별 분석과 의사결정 나무 기법을 사용하여 다(多) 방문 웹 사이트들과 비교 대상 웹 사이트들을 구분하는 웹 속성이 무엇인지 찾았다. 연구 결과, 두 집단을 구분하는 웹 속성은 커뮤니티 관련 속성, 모바일 관련 속성, 웹 사이트 유지보수 관련 속성이었다. 성형외과의 다(多) 방문 웹 사이트는 커뮤니티 중심이며, 모바일 환경으로의 변화에 즉각 반응하며, 지속적으로 유지 관리하는 사이트임을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 성형외과 웹사이트의 효과적인 구축 및 운영에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The crowdsourcing software development (CSD) is growing rapidly in the open call format in a competitive environment. In CSD, tasks are posted on a web-based CSD platform for CSD workers to compete for the task and win rewards. Task searching and assigning are very important aspects of the CSD environment because tasks posted on different platforms are in hundreds. To search and evaluate a thousand submissions on the platform are very difficult and time-consuming process for both the developer and platform. However, there are many other problems that are affecting CSD quality and reliability of CSD workers to assign the task which include the required knowledge, large participation, time complexity and incentive motivations. In order to attract the right person for the right task, the execution of action plans will help the CSD platform as well the CSD worker for the best matching with their tasks. This study formalized the task assignment method by utilizing different situations in a CSD competition-based environment in artificial intelligence (AI) planning. The results from this study suggested that assigning the task has many challenges whenever there are undefined conditions, especially in a competitive environment. Our main focus is to evaluate the AI automated planning to provide the best possible solution to matching the CSD worker with their personality type.

얼굴 인식을 위한 경량 인공 신경망 연구 조사 (A Comprehensive Survey of Lightweight Neural Networks for Face Recognition)

  • Lightweight face recognition models, as one of the most popular and long-standing topics in the field of computer vision, has achieved vigorous development and has been widely used in many real-world applications due to fewer number of parameters, lower floating-point operations, and smaller model size. However, few surveys reviewed lightweight models and reimplemented these lightweight models by using the same calculating resource and training dataset. In this survey article, we present a comprehensive review about the recent research advances on the end-to-end efficient lightweight face recognition models and reimplement several of the most popular models. To start with, we introduce the overview of face recognition with lightweight models. Then, based on the construction of models, we categorize the lightweight models into: (1) artificially designing lightweight FR models, (2) pruned models to face recognition, (3) efficient automatic neural network architecture design based on neural architecture searching, (4) Knowledge distillation and (5) low-rank decomposition. As an example, we also introduce the SqueezeFaceNet and EfficientFaceNet by pruning SqueezeNet and EfficientNet. Additionally, we reimplement and present a detailed performance comparison of different lightweight models on the nine different test benchmarks. At last, the challenges and future works are provided. There are three main contributions in our survey: firstly, the categorized lightweight models can be conveniently identified so that we can explore new lightweight models for face recognition; secondly, the comprehensive performance comparisons are carried out so that ones can choose models when a state-of-the-art end-to-end face recognition system is deployed on mobile devices; thirdly, the challenges and future trends are stated to inspire our future works.

선박 애드 혹 네트워크를 위한 확장탐색구역 경로배정 프로토콜 (EZR: Expansive Search Zone Routing Protocol for Ship Ad Hoc Networks)

  • Ships at sea cannot exchange data among them easily so far. Basically voice-oriented communication systems are the main methods, some of them utilize the HF radio systems at lower bit rates, and for higher bit rates, the Inmarsat or VSAT are adopted. None of them are used widely because of lower qualities and higher costs. There exist many technical and economical limits to have the Internet service just like on land such as the WWW service. In order to achieve the improved transmission rates of the maritime communication networks at farther sea, MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is one of the most practical models. In this paper, a new routing protocol named EZR (Expansive Search Zone Routing Protocol) is proposed, which is based on SANET (Ship Ad Hoc Network) model that has some different features from MANET and VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network). The search zone for the shortest path is firstly found by EZR. If no path is searched in the zone, the zone is expanded according to the rule of EZR. The zone-expanding and path-searching procedures are repeated until the path is found out. The performance of EZR is evaluated and compared with LAR protocol which is one of the most typical routing protocols based on geographical information. The simulated results show that EZR is much better than LAR at sea environments in terms of routing success rate, route optimality, and a single index of performance combined the previous two metrics.

소셜커머스 앱에서 정보구조(IA)의 차이에 따른 사용성 비교연구 -쿠팡, 티몬, 위메프 앱을 중심으로- (A Comparative Study of the Usability differences in accordance with Information Architecture in the Social commerce app)

  • As the development of new media and smart phone, more and more people are using social commerce application to shop on-line. Comfort and easiness of the UX design of the application directly affect the social commerce user's searching and buying the merchandise. This study analyzes the effect of social commerce application, especially focusing on the lay-out of the GUI, on the consumer's interest and we suggest an attractive application design of the UX. The material of this study is the lay-out of the GUI of 3 major social commerce - Wemakeprice, Coupan and Ticket monster. We asked questions to the university students who are skillful smart phone users to select frequent on-line shoppers and performed in-depth interview with them to draw a conclusion. As a result of study, differences of main screen layout and information architecture of each social commerce applications has confirmed that indicates a significant difference in usability.

  • 본 논문은 적외선센서를 이용한 사용자의 손동작 패턴 검출에 관한 연구이다. 사람의 움직임 패턴을 파악하기 위해, 카메라를 이용하여 실시간 영상을 획득하는 방법과, 가속도센서 및 자이로스코프를 이용한 사용자의 모션검출에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 기존의 연구들은 사용자의 모션을 검출하기 위해 고가의 장비와 이를 운용하기 위한 고성능의 모션처리기가 필요하다. 또한 조명이나 피부색, 센서의 정밀도에 따른 모션검출의 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 적외선센서를 이용하여 사용자의 손동작을 간편하게 검출할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구로써, 적외선센서를 가로.세로 형태로 배치한 기구부와 이를 제어하기 위한 센서보드를 이용하여 사용자의 손동작을 검출한다. 또한 보다 정확한 손동작 검출을 위해 사용자 손동작을 패턴단위로 구분하고, 센서의 감지순서와 감지시간 차이를 이용하여 분류한 손동작 패턴을 매칭시키는 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구의 결과는 이동로봇이나 컴퓨터 어플리케이션을 직접 제어하는 것으로 그 효용성을 검증한다. 컴퓨터 어플리케이션은 웹 기반의 지도 검색 프로그램인 구글어스를 사용한다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 글로벌 인터넷 환경에 부합할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 에이전트 등록/저장소 시스템을 설계하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 먼저 ebXML, UDDI, FIFA DF와 같은 핵심 기술에 대한 사전연구를 진행하였고 그 결과로 ebXML을 활용한 에이전트 등록 및 저장소 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 에이전트의 등록과 저장, 검색을 위해 ebXML이 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지를 보여주며, 서로 다른 에이전트 플랫폼에서 개발된 에이전트가 어떠한 방법과 절차를 통해 등록되고 검색될 수 있는지를 설명한다. 본 시스템을 활용할 수 있는 전형적인 예를 보여주고, 본 시스템의 장점을 기술한다.
