Efficient Migration of Service Agent in P-Grid Environments based-on Mobile Agent (이동에이전트 기반의 P-그리드 환경에서 서비스 에이전트의 효율적인 이주기법)

  • This paper describes the efficient peer-to-peer migration method of Grid service agent on the mobile agent based P-Grid. The migration mechanism for transmitting service agent upon the service request is based on the peer's logic network topology. The network topologies that this system uses are organized as star topology, ring topology and tree topology, and agents are migrated by the master/slave method and serial/parallel method. The migration method of services is chosen based on the execution range and characteristic of the requested service. Also, the entire execution time of service is affected by the performance of peer that is a part of network topology, and the migration order, Therefore, the system monitors the performance of peers, and determines the migration priority based on analyzing and learning history. The system can reduce service execution time efficiently with decisions of migration method for service agent and priority of peers.

Proximity-based Overlay Network Routing for Service Discovery in Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (이동 애드혹 망에서의 서비스 검색을 위한 근접성 기반 오버레이 네트워크 라우팅)

  • Mobile ad hoc networks(MANET) have recently attrarted a lot of attention in the research community as well as in industry. Although the previous research mainly focused on the various problems of MANET in data link and network layers, we consider, in this paper, how to efficiently support applications such as service discovery on top of MANET. Peer-to-Peer(P2P) overlay network can be adopted to service discovery mechanism because P2P and MANET share certain similarities, primarily the fact that both arc instances of self-organizing decentralized systems. Especially, distributed hash table(DHT) systems used for r2r overlay network can be effective in reducing the communication overhead in service discovery. However, since overlay network is independent of physical network topology and existing topology-aware mechanisms are based on the wired network, they are inefficient in MANET. We propose a proximity-based overlay network routing to overcome the inefficiency of routing in overlay network. In the proximity-based overlay network routing, each node collects information of physically close nodes by using one hop broadcast and routes messages to the logically closest node to destination. In a detailed ns-2 simulation study, we show that the proximity-based overlay network routing reduces the number of physical hops comparable to the flooding-based mechanism with low communication overhead. We also find that the proposed scheme works well in the mobile environment.

A Locality based Resource Management Scheme for Hierarchical P2P Overlay Network in Ubiquitous Computing (계층적 P2P에서의 근거리 기반 효율적 자원관리 기법)

  • Many peer-to-peer (p2p) systems have been studied in distributed, ubiquitous computing environments. Distributed hash table (DHT)-based p2p systems can improve load-balancing even though locality utilization and user mobility are not guaranteed. We propose a mobile locality-based hierarchical p2p overlay network (MLH-Net) to address locality problems without any other services. MLH-Net utilizes mobility features in a mobile environment. MLH-Net is constructed as two layers, an upper layer formed with super-nodes and a lower layer formed with normal-nodes. The simulation results demonstrate that MLH-Net can decrease discovery routing hops by 13% compared with JXTA and 69% compared with Chord. It can decrease the discovery routing distance by 17% compared with JXTA and 83% compared with Chord depending on the environment.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 및 모바일 환경에서 Peer-to-Peer(P2P)시스템에 대한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 모바일 환경에서는 모바일 환경의 제약사항과 함께 이동성이라는 특징이 중요하게 고려된다. 노드의 이동에 의해서 네트워크의 주소가 변경되어 P2P 네트워크 망에서 유효하지 않은 접속 정보들이 생기고 이러한 정보들이 검색 및 P2P 시스템의 전체적인 성능을 떨어뜨리게 된다. 이 논문은 이러한 접속 정보들의 불일치를 해결하여 접속 정보를 유지하기 위한 효과적인 방법론인 이동전파 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 접속 정보의 불일치를 해결하기 위해 정보를 빠르게 처리해서 P2P 시스템의 성능을 향상하는 것을 목표로 한다. DHT 기반 P2P 시스템을 기반으로 하여 제안하는 알고리즘을 적용하여 실험을 하였으며, 그 결과로 처음 신규 발견된 정보를 재 발견하는 경우에 성능이 기존의 DHT 기반의 P2P 시스템보다 80% 향상되었음을 알 수 있다.

  • The percentage share of mobile gift card certificate in the gift card market has increased significantly each year. But from a consumer perspective mobile gift card certificate has several problems. Specifying unfair terms in Fair Trade Commission has improved slightly, but the problem is not replaced with the equivalent authority that issued the vouchers can not be solved. The exchange between users the most realistic way to solve this problem is to create an environment as possible. In conclusion, The deal will be possible to build a mobile gift card certificate brokerage trading in a convenient and reliable P2P-based. If the System for mediating transactions of a mobile gift certificate has created a healthy retail environment, such as the expansion of the voucher market, reduce social costs may be creating.

An Efficient Service Discovery for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (모바일 애드-혹 네트워크를 위한 효율적인 서비스 디스커버리)

  • In mobile ad hoc networks, service discovery to search for an available service is an important issue. In this paper, we propose an efficient service discovery protocol that is combined a dht-based service discovery scheme and a P2P caching-based information spreading scheme. Proposed scheme store key information in hashed zone and search services using it's information. To search quickly a service, it use its physical neighbors information which collected by 1-hop hello message between a node and its physical neighbors. We do not use a central look up server and do not rely on flooding. Hence, it uniquely balanced all node's load in mobile ad hoc networks and reduced the number of messages exchanged, network load and response time. The simulation results show that our protocol outperforms DHT-based and flooding protocols.

  • The trend of Next Generation Networks' (NGN) evolution is towards providing multiple and multimedia services to users through ubiquitous networks. The aim of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is to integrate mobile communication networks and computer networks. The IMS plays an important role in NGN services, which can be achieved by heterogeneous networks and different access technologies. IMS can be used to manage all service related issues such as Quality of Service (QoS), Charging, Access Control, User and Services Management. Nowadays, internet technology is changing with each passing day. New technologies yield new impact to IMS. In this paper, we perform a survey of IMS and discuss the different impacts of new technologies on IMS such as P2P, SCIM, Web Service and its security issues.

  • In this paper, we propose a hierarchical P2P architecture using clustering mobile peers. The proposed scheme utilizes the maximum connection time of connected peers to form the mobile network, which makes the network topology relatively stable. The connection time of connected peers can be determined by the location, velocity vector and communication range of each mobile peer. Therefore, the update overhead of the network is decreased and the success rate of contents search is increased. Experiments have shown that our proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes.

  • In the past several years there has been increasing the studies using ubiquitous technology as the base technology of IT-convergence. The cooltown, one of the ubiquitous projects, is based on the web technology and the mobile environment. However, in the cooltown system, users only get a pre-made web-page. In this paper, we propose the algorithm improved usability applying the context-awareness based on the sensor network. In this paper, we can provide a custom tailored service overlooked in the existing system from this.

Protocol Design for Opportunistic Direct M2M Communication in Wearable Computing Environment (웨어러블 단말과 이웃 단말 간 기회기반 직접 사물통신 프로토콜 설계)

  • The recent wearable device's applications concentrates on providing diverse services such as location based service, context aware service to the users. These various services are implemented by the interactions between the wearable device and the user. In the legacy system, the interaction requires certain explicit configuration from the user. If the user is unfamiliar with the IT technology, it will be impossible to get the wanted service. Therefore, a new autonomous communication concept among neighbor devices is essential for people who is unfamiliar with the IT technology. The implicit human computer interface enables the user to acquire the services, even though the user don't know the IT technology. In this paper, we propose two BLE based protocols (B-LIDx protocol, B-PniP). B-LIDx protocol is the protocol for locationing the mobile device in indoor. B-PniP is a zero-configure opportunistic direct M2M communication protocol between neighbor devices to achieve the autonomous communication concept with zero-configuration. The protocol's evaluations are performed by measuring the time for finding the location of a mobile device in actual environment and aligning the time spent in services using the B-PniP.
