The use of mobile office systems has been expanded due to the smartphones' rapid diffusion in Korea, and it has brought a new work environment that is different from traditional working patterns. In this study, the unique attributes of mobile office systems, such as ubiquity, usefulness, complexity, and insecurity, are examined along with the impact of these attributes on work overload and job stress. Based on transaction-based model of job stress, organizational support was applied as a stress inhibitor and also the moderator between work overload and job stress. The findings of this study show that ubiquity increases usefulness of mobile office systems; complexity increases both work overload and job stress; and insecurity increases job stress. Surprisingly, usefulness increases job stress, which means employees who perceive the efficiency of mobile office systems higher may feel more job stress. Organizational support for mobile office systems significantly shows the moderating effect, but no direct mitigating effect on job stress. The theoretical and practical implications in order to mitigate the side effects of mobile office systems based on the research findings are thoroughly discussed.

Human being does work to live out and they have their private life because human has sociality. Both work and life are important to live out but they are on the trade-off relationship. Because keeping the balance between work and life is too hard, it has been interested by academic and practical areas. Definition of Work-life balance here is that balance or imbalance arising between work and life has no negative impact on their daily life. Above all, Work-life balance is important because it is strongly related to identity. Recently, the introduction of the mobile office system has emerged as a way to solve the problem of work-life balance. It is based on the teleworking which was formerly generated. Teleworking is to perform the work in the employee's home or office space set aside without going into the workplace. Concept of the mobile office system here is not only using portable devices during work for convenience but also the system which is designed for the performance. Thanks to the diffusion of smart devices(smart phone, tablet pc), mobile office system has been spread. Although the importance of mobile office systems is emerging, there are few researches about it. Even they mostly focus on the standpoint of performance of mobile office system. However, Quality of life is as important as the performance. As a part of Quality of Life field, Work-life balance is the closest to employee's quality of life. So this study aims to examine the effect of the use of mobile office systems on work-life balance. To do so, we try to find factors effecting Work-life balance from existing studies and then set a research model. We set the use of mobile office systems as independent variables which are divided by use of function, use by location and use by situation. There are four dependent variables - sense of self command, sense of balance, solving work problem, solving life problem. We collected data from employees who are using mobile office systems on their job. 215 people were participated in the survey and we used multiple regression analysis to verify our research model. Results show that every independent variable has no impact on solving work problem while they have slight impact on the other dependent variables. Especially use on the business trip has significant effect on dependent variables. It means that there is a possibility use of mobile office system could control the employee's quality of life and system should be evolved until it covers even critical tasks. Also, support for mobile office system -education, encouragement-should be provided. By mobile office system is maturing, future research would be done.

In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service. 본 논문에서는 대규모의 다양한 모바일 단말기와 서버로 구성된 모바일 오피스 지원 시스템을 제안한다. 나날이 다양한 모바일 단말기들이 출시되고 있으므로, 현재 적용되고 있는 모바일 오피스 지원시스템은 추후 단말기들 간의 상호호환성 결여, 자료동기화 및 단말기 장비관리의 어려움과 같은 문제에 봉착할 수 있으며 효율적인 모바일오피스 지원시스템에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 대규모의 외근직원을 두는 기업에서는 이런 현상이 더욱 심화될 것이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 우선 대규모 외근직원을 두는 기업을 위한 모바일 오피스 지원시스템의 요구사항을 도출하였다. 또한, 원격 자료동기화 기술과 장비관리 기술을 적용하여 도출된 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 방안용 제시한다. 본 논문의 모바일 오피스 지원시스템은 원격 자료동기화 기술을 통해 기업 구성원의 대규모의 다양한 모바일 단말기와 기업의 중앙 서버와의 자료를 일치시키며, 원격 장비관리 기술을 통해 관리자를 대신하여 모바일 단말기를 원격 관리할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는, OMA(Open Mobile Alliance)의 DS(Data Synchronization)와 DM(Device Management) 적용한 모바일 오피스 지원시스템을 제안한다. OMA DS와 DM은 현재 산업계 표준으로 받아들여지고 있기 때문에, 적용 시스템 간의 상호호환성을 보장할 수 있기 때문이다.

본 논문은 HTML5를 이용한 물류기업의 스마트폰 기반 모바일 오피스 구현에 관하여 설명하고자 한다. 모바일 오피스는 기존의 사무실개념에서 탈피해 언제 어디서나 편리하게 스마트폰 및 휴대용 컴퓨터와 같은 모바일 장치를 사용하여 Wi-Fi 또는 3G/4G 통신을 통해 회사 서버와 연결되는 스마트한 작업 환경이다. 최근에 많은 기업들이 스마트폰 보급에 발맞춰 모바일 오피스 시스템을 도입하고 있지만, 모바일 어플리케이션의 플랫폼이 각기 달라 시스템 유지보수 및 업데이트 시에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 모바일 오피스 어플리케이션을 위한 플랫폼 독립적인 구현 도구가 필요하게 되었고 HTML5는 그 도구 중 하나인 것이다. 이 논문에서 우리는 HTML5를 사용하여 iOS, 안드로이드, 윈도우 모바일 등 모든 모바일 기기에 적용할 수 있는 모바일 및 웹 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 이 모바일 오피스 시스템은 그룹웨어, 영업관리, 경영실적보고, 화물추적관리 시스템으로 구성되어 있다.

최근 스마트 폰 등 이동단말기 사용이 급증함에 따라 국내/외 기업을 중심으로 언제 어디서나 일할 수 있는 스마트 오피스(Mobile-Office)가 빠르게 보급되고 있다. 스마트 워크가 부상하는 이유는 새로운 근무형태의 대두, 업무 효율성 제고, 스마트 폰 등 모바일 기반의 경제가 급성장하여 기업 환경이 변화하였기 때문이며, 이로 인해 일하는 방식의 변혁이 필요했던 것이다. 중소기업의 경우 최신 IT기술에 대한 활용능력이 대기업에 비해 상대적으로 부족하고, 개발 역량 및 자본 투자에 대한 한계가 존재하기 때문에 중소기업에 최적화된 개발 방법론 및 활용 방법이 필요한 실정이다. 신속하고 정확한 비즈니스 의사결정을 할 수 있는 모바일 환경에서의 비즈니스 인텔리전스 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. 스마트 오피스 이전 기업 환경에서의 문제점(접근성, 이동성, 효율성, 복잡성, 통합성)을 스마트 기기와 연동하여 해결하고, 중소기업의 입장에서 최소비용을 투자한 개발로 다양한 스마트 기기 및 웹 등에서 활용 가능한 애플리케이션의 효과적인 도입 방안을 모색하였다.

안정적인 무선 네트워크 환경과 이동성이 강화된 스마트 휴대용 매체 보급에 힘입어 산업 경쟁력을 강화할 기술로서 모바일 오피스 시스템(Mobile Office System)이 주목받고 있다. 모바일 오피스 시스템이 기업 내 외부의 커뮤니케이션과 실시간 정보 공유 및 업무처리를 가능하게 함으로써 업무 효율성을 증진시킬 것이라는 기대하에 국내외적으로 공공기관과 대기업, 중소기업에 이르기까지 그 활용범위가 점차 확산되고 있다. 본 연구는 업무 특성을 고려하여 적합한 모바일 오피스 체계를 자체적으로 개발하여 활용한 사례를 선정하여 심층분석 하였다 사례 분석 대상으로 선정된 서울도시철도공사는 모바일 오피스 시스템 활용을 통해 직원들의 이동시간(10%)과 행정시간(10%)을 현저히 줄일 수 있었고, 그로 인해 근무시간의 대부분(80%)을 필요한 작업에 효율적으로 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 업무 생산성의 증가는 원가절감으로 이어졌고, 무엇보다 중요한 지표인 지하철의 안전도를 대폭 향상시켰다. 본 사례분석의 결과는 향후 모바일 오피스 시스템을 도입하고자 하는 기업들에게 업무특성과 기술 및 서비스의 적합성의 중요성을 이해하도록 함으로써 사용자의 능동적이고 주도적인 설계와 참여를 통한 성공적 모바일 오피스 시스템 구축 및 활용을 위한 시사점과 지침을 제시하고 있다.

Today many companies introduce new mobile office environments evolved from the recent rapid development in mobile device technologies. Most of the recent mobile office systems use a simple authentication scheme such as ID/Password. This method is easy to use, but it does not consider the user's context. Thus it cannot provide appropriate security service required by the user's proper contexts. Therefore, this paper proposes a context based authentication system which applies security level verification and uses fuzzy algorithm based on the importance of access authority control.

최근 무선통신의 발달로 인하여 PDA나 스마트폰 등 R 바일 기기를 활용한 원격지 업무처리가 보편화되고 있다. 특히, 웹 서비스와 XML 기술을 사용하게 되면 다양한 기종의 모바일 기기를 대상으로 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며 SW 재사용성과 확장성 및 통합성이 높아지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 웹서비스와 XML 기법을 사용하는 SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) 방식으로 지반정보시스템을 개발하는 방법을 제안하고, 프로토타입 시스템을 개발하여 평가한다. 웹서비스 기법을 사용하는 경우 서버 주소만 알면 WSDL을 통해 Local method를 사용하는 것과 동일하게 서비스를 사용할 수 있으므로 확장성과 통합성이 뛰어나다. 웹서비스 방식은 클라이언트와 서버에서 서로 다른 프로그래밍 언어를 사용하여 SW를 개발한 이질적인 분산 시스템들을 통합하는 경우에도 장점을 가진다. 제안된 시스템에서도 서버는 Java를 사용하고, Mobile Client는 Visual Basic.Net으로 개발한 SW를 서로 통합하여 서비스를 제공한다.

Given the growing deployment of mobile offices, we need to understand the fectors which affect their successful use and implementation. We in this paper present a parsimonious model which integrates the IS success model and the TAM. The main feature of the model is that it allows one to explore the role of mobility of mobile office systems in determining the level of system usage and dependence. Although the mobility is the key property of any mobile system, there is little research effort exerted to understand how mobility affects the traditional IS factors such as perceived ease of use and usefulness. In addition to the system usage, this model also uses dependence as the dependent variable. This is expected to provide richer understanding of the study context. We collected survey data from 1,614 field service workers of a major domestic electronic company. They use PDAs to retrieve information regarding the specifics of the customer service requests and to report what has been done for each service job. The results from SEM analysis show that mobility improves the perceived ease of use which then leads the field service workers to depend more on the PDA systems. Interestingly enough, however, the workers' satisfaction does not cause more frequent use of the system.
