  • PUSH technology is a technology that can transfer server information without user's request and it is very useful in various areas along with mobile applications. This paper suggest a suitable application model that can utilizes the PUSH technology and mobile devices by finding a useful area. For this, AdMan, a mobile application which can utilize the PUSH technology and mobile devices has been developed. AdMan is a mobile application that developed once and can be able to run on both Android and iOS based mobile devices, since it was developed by using a tool called m-Bizmaker. AdMan is a customer management and advertisement system that can bring big efficiency by utilizing the PUSH technology and mobile application under the today's mobile environment, and it is a good model of ICT technology application of modern society. As an application that can maximize the utilization of the PUSH technology and mobile devices, AdMan can realize better effectiveness if it run on a PUSH server.

  • There has been a continued increase in the complexity of software equipped with wireless mobile devices, due to the introduction of new device functionality and services via network connection. The increasement expected to be accelerated by convergence of telecommunication and broadcasting, and proliferation of telematics and home networking services using wireless mobile devices. The higher the complexity of mobile device software, the higher the necessity of management for the software. As for the global standard of mobile device management technology, OMA DM has been widely adopted by device manufacture and expected to be accelerated its adoption. In this paper, we present a development result of mobile device software release management system ThinkSync DM SoftMan. The implementation details of ThinkSync DM SoftMan are provided in implementation architecture and its working scenario based on the design of ThinkSync DM SoftMan that is summarized in this paper as our previous work. The conformance and performance test of the system are presented.

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service.   • A remote controlled mobile robot system has been developed and tested to monitor the radiation area in the nuclear power plant. The mobile robot system operates according to car-driving-like commands and is capable of radiation measurement and visual inspection in unmanned situations under radiation. The robot system is equipped with a radiation sensor and two cameras with appropriate illumination set-ups. The camera with auto-focus function and 8-times zoom lens is mounted on the pan/tilt rotational base and the other is mounted on the front panel of the robot system. All commands regarding the motion of the mobile robot and various sensors are given through the monitoring system which is designed to provide an integrated man-machine interface.

  • Without a proper protection mechanism for the signaling messages to be used for the mobility support in the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6), it is also vulnerable to several security attacks such as redirect attack, MITM (Man-In-The-Middle) attack, replay attack and DoS (Denial of Service) attack as in Mobile IPv6. In this paper, we point out some problems of previous authentication mechanisms associated with PMIPv6, and also propose a new fast and secure authentication mechanism applicable to PMIPv6. In addition, it is also shown that the proposed one is more efficient and secure than the previous ones.

  • Standard of implementing a robot is Man, so in many field, Many studies are processing to archive a robot, very similar to human being. This paper, based on the theory of man, implemented on the model of parallelism sense and visual information, which is needed when it's moving. Introduced robot uses CCD and designed Image Processing Board for the purpose of archiving vision data. To keep parallel condition, This use ultrasonic sensors for auto-mobile.

  • This research dealt with feasibility study to build a route guidance robot for a blind man. It is important to recognize user's intentions for the guidance robot. The user's intentions have been caught through the information from joystick which has been processed by fuzz logic. We show that mobile robot obeys according to the recognized user's intention.

  • In mobile radio communication, propagation paths are time or spacial varying because of the motion of mobile unit. The propagation path loss not only involves frequency and distance but also the antenna height at both the base station and the mobile unit, terrain configuration, and the man made en- vironment. Thhese additional factors make the prediction of propagation path loss of mobile radio signals more difficult. In this paper, it is measured field strenght of mobile radio signals in Daejeon and Seoul area, also calculated local median, 500m sample mean, and stadard deviation. As the result of analysis, it can be seen that propagation path loss of measured data is similiar to predicted field strength, especially local median is dependent upon base antenna height, terrain configuration and the man-made environment. The standard deviation has been noted to lie between 2 and 10 dBuV.

Synchronization Method of Broadcast Messages for Beamforming Performance in Mobile WiMAX Networks

  • We report that broadcast messages in Mobile WiMAX networks should be synchronized throughout all the base stations to gain the benefit of beamforming technique. A simple synchronization implementation of broadcast messages in Mobile WiMAX networks is presented. Using this technique, the interference between broadcast messages and beamformed messages can be reduced.

  • The main stream of existing game market was console and PC-based games. In these days mobile game industry extends its boundary according to the advance of mobile device capability. Especially, smart phones, known as computers in hands, accelerate the expansion of mobile game market. This paper analyzes the characteristics and the current status of mobile game market. Based on this analysis, future directions for mobile game market are given.
