항공기내 연료 및 오일온도 변화에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Analysis on Transient Temperatures of Fuel and Oil in a Military Aircraft)

  • A transient analysis on temperatures of fuel and oil in hydraulic and lubrication systems in an aircraft was studied using the finite difference method. Numerical calculation was performed by an explicit method with modified Dufort-Frankel scheme. Among various missions, air superiority mission was considered as a mission model with 20% hot day ambient condition in subsonic region. The ambience of the aircraft was assumed as turbulent flow. Convective heat transfer coefficient were used in calculating heat transfer between the aircraft surface and the ambience. For an aircraft on the ground, an empirical equation represented as a function of free-stream air velocity was used. And the heat transfer coefficient for flat plate turbulent flow suggested by Eckert was employed for in-flight phases. The governing equations used in this analysis are the mass and energy conservation equations on fuel and oils. Here, analysis of fuel and oil temperature in the engine was not carried out. As a result of this analysis, the ground operation phase has shown the highest temperature and the largest rate of temperature increase among overall mission phases. Also, it is shown that fuel flow rate through fuel/oil heat exchanger plays an important role in temperature change of fuel and oil. This analysis could be an important part of studies to ensure thermal stability of the aircraft and can be applicable to thermal design of the aircraft fuel system.

태양광 고고도 장기체공 무인기의 초기 상승 임무 분석 (Initial Climb Mission Analysis of a Solar HALE UAV)

  • 본 연구에서는 태양광 고고도 무인항공기가 어떻게 태양광 에너지만을 이용해서 지상에서 이륙, 상승비행을 하여 임무고도인 18 km 지점까지 도달할 수 있는지에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 주익면적 $35.98m^2$와 가로세로비 25의 글라이더 형태의 항공기가 기준 항공기 형상으로 사용되었다. 미국 나사의 공개 프로그램인 OpenVSP와 XFLR5을 사용하여 형상변수 및 양력계수와 항력계수를 계산하였으며, 태양광으로부터의 가용에너지와 상승비행에 필요한 에너지 균형을 통해 항공기의 상승비행을 예측하였다. 각 고도에서 비행속도를 최소화하여 최소시간 상승비행이 가능하도록 하였고 이륙시간에 따른 임무고도 도달까지의 총소요시간과 소모되는 에너지량을 예측하였다. 또한 편서풍과 비행속도에 의한 항공기의 이동거리를 계산하였다.

열차 시뮬레이터 조작 시 운전자의 생체신호 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on Driver's Physiological Response in Train Simulator)

  • he purpose of this study is to measure bio-signal to investigate the driver's physiological response change under real situation using train simulator. The train simulator used in this study is KTX model and according to changes of driving situation, The bio-signal controlled by autonomic nervous system, such as GSR(Galvanic Skin Response), SpO2(Saturation percent O2), HR(Heart Rate), ECG(Electrocardiograph), EEG(Electroencephagram) and movement and response of eye were measured. Statistically significant difference in bio-signal data and eye movement activity pattern were investigated under several different driving speeds using analysis of variance (p<0.05). The GSR and HR value measured in average and mission speed operation is higher than in high-speed operation. β wave of EEG in average speed operation become more activated than in high speed operation. In accordance with a characteristic of rail vehicle, movement and response of eye in high-speed operation requiring relatively simple maneuver become less activated than in either average or mission speed operations. Conclusively, due to more careful driving controls in average and mission speed operation are required than in high-speed operation, level of mental and physical stresses of train driver was increased and observed through changes of bio-signal and eye movement measured in this study.

Practical Algorithms on Lunar Reference Frame Transformations for Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter Flight Operation

  • This technical paper deals the practical transformation algorithms between several lunar reference frames which will be used for Korea pathfinder lunar orbiter (KPLO) flight operation. Despite of various lunar reference frame definitions already exist, use of a common transformation algorithm while establishing lunar reference frame is very important for all members related to KPLO mission. This is because use of slight different parameters during frame transformation may result significant misleading while reprocessing data based on KPLO flight dynamics. Therefore, details of practical transformation algorithms for the KPLO mission specific lunar reference frames is presented with step by step implementation procedures. Examples of transformation results are also presented to support KPLO flight dynamics data user community which is expected to give practical guidelines while post processing the data as their needs. With this technical paper, common understandings of reference frames that will be used throughout not only the KPLO flight operation but also science data reprocessing can be established. It is expected to eliminate, or at least minimize, unnecessary confusion among all of the KPLO mission members including: Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as well as other organizations participating in KPLO payload development and operation, or further lunar science community world-wide who are interested in KPLO science data post processing.

Landsat TM 영상을 이용한 교목연령 추정에 영창을 주는 영상 밴드 및 식생지수에 관한 연구 (Study on Correlation Between Timber Age, Image Bands and Vegetation Indices for Timber Age Estimation Using Landsat TM Image)

  • 본 논문은 Landsat TM 영상을 활용하여 교목연령 추정과 이와 관련이 있는 영상의 밴드값과 식생지수에 대한 상관관계 연구를 수행하였다. 기본적으로 본 연구에서는 취득시기가 다른 Landsat TM 영상 (1990, 1994, 1998년)과 Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM)과 National Elevation Dataset(NED) 영상의 차분영상이 사용되었으며 밴드 4, 5, 7 영상, 태슬모자형 변환을 통한 녹색식생지수, 토양수분지수 영상, 정규식생지수 (NDVI), 적외선지수 (II), 식생상태지수 (VCI), 토양보정식생지수 (SAVI) 영상은 Landsat TM 영상에서 추출되었다. 각각의 영상에서 추출된 값인 총 1992개 자료를 회귀분석을 통하여 분석하였고 연구 결과 교목연령을 추정하는데 있어서 가장 높은 결정계수($R^2$)값을 보이는 요소로는 태슬모자형 변환 토양수분지수. 적외선지수 (II), 식생상태지수 (VCI) 영상이며 이들 값이 교목연령을 추정하는데 가장 많은 영향이 있음을 알 수 있다.

Design of School Management Information System Based on the Indonesian National Education Standard

  • With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

Embedded Real-Time Software Architecture for Unmanned Autonomous Helicopters

  • The UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) systems like unmanned autonomous helicopters are used in various missions of flight navigation and used to collect the environmental information of the surroundings. To realize the full functionalities of the UAV, the software part becomes a challenging problem. In this paper embedded real-time software architecture for unmanned autonomous helicopter is proposed that guarantee real-time performance of hard-real time tasks and re-configurability of soft-real time and non-real time tasks. The proposed software architecture has four layers: hardware, execution, service agent and remote user interface layer according to the reactiveness level for external events. In addition, the layered separation of concurrent tasks makes different kinds of mission reconfiguration possible in the system. An Unmanned autonomous helicopter system was implemented (Kyosho RC Helicopter) in our lab to test and evaluate the performance of the proposed system.

  • 최근 해양자원의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라, 해양환경을 모니터링 하기 위해 Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks(UW-ASN)가 활발히 연구되고 있다. UW-ASN 는 해양환경에 대한 데이터를 Sensing, gathering 하고 이를 Monitoring Center로 delivering 하는 Mission 을 수행한다. 이 논문에서는 해양에서 수집한 데이터를 수질 자동 측정망(TMS: Tele Monitoring System)에 전송하기 위해, 음파통신을 통해 수신된 해양 데이터를 수질 자동 측정망의 규격에 맞는 데이터로 변환시키고 CDMA 통신을 통해 가상의 TMS에 전송하는 Gateway 구현을 제안한다.

  • Autonomous driving of unmanned aerial vehicles may have to pay expensive cost to create and switch new routes if unexpected obstacles exist or local map updates occured by the control system due to incorrect route information. Integrating digital twins into the path-following process requires more computing resources to quickly switch the wrong path to an alternative path, but it can quickly update the path during flight. In this study, we design a DEVS-based simulation environment which can modify optimized paths through short-term simulation of multi-virtual UAVs for applying digital twin concepts to path follow. Through simulation, we confirmed the possibility of increasing the mission stability of UAV.

  • 본 논문에서는 사용자들의 운동 능력과 영어 학습 능력 향상을 위한 앱을 개발한다. 지정한 시간에 알람을 울리고, 운동 및 학습을 완료하는 경우에만 알람이 종료한다. 알람이 활성화되면 사용자가 강제적으로 종료할 수 없는 기능을 선택할 수 있다. TTS 기능을 적용하여 알람이 활성화되었을 때, 안내 음성이 나오도록 설계하였다. 학습 기능에 STT를 적용하여 영어 단어와 문장을 마이크에 인식하는 방식의 영어 문제를 제시하였다. 또한, OpenAI를 활용하여 매일 자정 새로운 영어 문제를 생성하고 서버에 저장한다. 이러한 기능들은 사용자의 선택권을 보장하며 건강 증진 및 자기 주도적인 학습에 도움을 줄 것이다.
