Recently, the trend in architectural forms has been toward taller and larger building. The building materials, therefore, are getting larger and heavier as wall. Most of the construction projects are, however, dependent on outdated equipment and human resources. Construction processes up to now face a number of problems, including dangerous work, high construction cost and heterogeneous construction quality. In various construction sites, automation in construction has been introduced to address these problems. This paper proposes a human-machine cooperative system in the construction site; the system utilizes construction of a curtain wall in tall buildings. The use of automation system at construction sites can reduce the need of human involvement. Construction time and cost can be reduced as well. The most important aspect of the use of automation system at construction sites is prevention of accidents.

In a ubiquitous society, the world is changing to the place where we can access to network anytime, anywhere, on any device. The mobile internet is leading the ubiquitous world and the most commonly used medium is a cell phone. However, it is uncomfortable to link to cafe, blog, and mini homepage. Because we have to stop wap service in order to upload the mobile contents like photos, videos, sound recordings produced by mobile phones. Also we have to re-access. So, in this paper content management system was designed and implemented which mobile users don't have to stop wap service in order to upload photos, videos, sound recordings produced by mobile phones. Also it supports upload in wap service integrative medicine diagnosis and contents can be managed by category.

Recently the operating system share of linux on embedded system is increasing. The embedded systems on linux environment, commonly equip a file system as mini hard disk or flash memory to keep data. The types of the file system of the system are various according to it's operating system. Anyway, the more embedded system depends on the file system, the selection of the type of the file system effects more on the performance of the system. This thesis performs the performance benchmark of a FAT and Ext file systems which are most popular in embedded system. As the result, it is discussed that what file system is better at which case. These results will be a index at the selection of flash file system of the embedded systems on linux environment.
System identification is regarded as the most basic technique for structural health monitoring to evaluate structural integrity. Although many system identification techniques extracting mode information (e.g., mode frequency and mode shape) have been proposed so far, it is also desired to identify physical parameters (e.g., stiffness and damping). As for high-rise buildings subjected to long-period ground motions, system identification for evaluating only the shear stiffness based on a shear model does not seem to be an appropriate solution to the system identification problem due to the influence of overall bending response. In this paper, a system identification algorithm using a shear-bending model developed in the previous paper is revised to identify both shear and bending stiffnesses. In this algorithm, an ARX (Auto-Regressive eXogenous) model corresponding to the transfer function for interstory accelerations is applied for identifying physical parameters. For the experimental verification of the proposed system identification framework, vibration tests for a 3-story steel mini-structure are conducted. The test structure is specifically designed to measure horizontal accelerations including both shear and bending responses. In order to obtain reliable results, system identification theories for two different inputs are investigated; (a) base input motion by a modal shaker, (b) unknown forced input on the top floor.

Recently, the demand for corporate location in the city is increasing. Due to the difficulty of finding a large site in the city, the small-scale 'mini-industrial complex' would be appropriate as a future industrial complex type. In response to this, site suitability indicators was prepared and applied to the metropolitan area as a pilot. To this end, the under-utilized site were assumed as potential candidates for development. After analyzing the importance among indicators through a questionnaire from experts and companies, this was applied as a weight. As a result, candidate sites ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 4 were derived. The indicators that had a great influence on the location identified as a Grade 1 were transport accessibility and urban service conditions when the company weight was applied, whereas advanced knowledge industry and university/research center when applying expert weight. The Seoul-south axis and southwest axis of Gyonggi-Do were identified as the most excellent mini-industrial complex locations among the Seoul metropolitan areas. It means that the already formed knowledge industry clusters will be recognized as competitive future industrial locations.
Automatic wood species identification systems have enabled fast and accurate identification of wood species outside of specialized laboratories with well-trained experts on wood species identification. Conventional automatic wood species identification systems consist of two major parts: a feature extractor and a classifier. Feature extractors require hand-engineering to obtain optimal features to quantify the content of an image. A Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), which is one of the Deep Learning methods, trained for wood species can extract intrinsic feature representations and classify them correctly. It usually outperforms classifiers built on top of extracted features with a hand-tuning process. We developed an automatic wood species identification system utilizing CNN models such as LeNet, MiniVGGNet, and their variants. A smartphone camera was used for obtaining macroscopic images of rough sawn surfaces from cross sections of woods. Five Korean softwood species (cedar, cypress, Korean pine, Korean red pine, and larch) were under classification by the CNN models. The highest and most stable CNN model was LeNet3 that is two additional layers added to the original LeNet architecture. The accuracy of species identification by LeNet3 architecture for the five Korean softwood species was 99.3%. The result showed the automatic wood species identification system is sufficiently fast and accurate as well as small to be deployed to a mobile device such as a smartphone.

One of the most important problems faced by software developers and users is the prediction of the size of programming system and its development effort. This article define the identical characteristics for structured specification which is consisted of Data Flow Diagram, Data Dictionary and Mini Specification and apply quantitative estimation factor of structured specification to program code metrics, Moreover, concerning DFD which is made up of component element of structured specification executed quantitative estimation experiment. In the result, we propose man/month prediction model of lower progression with production on analysis phase of upper progression.

Renewable energy resources play an important part in the world's future. Renewable energy sources have the following components: biomass, geothermal, solar thermal, directs solar, wind, tidal and hydropower. Hydropower is still the most efficient way to generate electricity worldwide. Hydropower projects can contribute as a cheap energy source, as well to encourage the development of small industries across a wide range of new technology; furthermore hydropower systems use the energy in flowing and falling water to produce electricity or mechanical energy. Hydropower systems are classified as large, medium, small, mini and micro according to their installed power generation capacity, as do the following components: water turbines, control mechanisms and electrical transmissions. In this article a review of small hydropower systems has been done on the principles surrounding the fundamentals of hydraulic engineering, the fundamentals of hydrology, identification of sites and economic analysis.
This paper present the result of the investigation, the electric properties of insulators due to non-soluble contamination. In general, the humidity and the amount of soluble salts such as NaCl, $MgCl_2$ are the most dominant factor. Though the non-soluble do not distribute on conductivity of contaminant layer, that has the hygroscopic property. For this study, we make a mini-fog chamber with transparent acryl and the kaoline was used for non-soluble contaminant. The kaoline was applied with sprayer to get the specific ESDD and NSDD value, then the specimen was dried and installed horizontally. And to measure the leakage current a DAS system was developed with LabView. With the result, we could know the influence of non-soluble content and the relationship between NSDD and ESDD.

This paper present the result of the investigation, electric properties of outdoor insulators with the difference of contaminated condition. In general, the humidity and the amount of soluble salts such as NaCl, MgCl$_2$are the most dominant factor. A mini-fog chamber with transparent acryl and the standard contamination solution with kaoline was used. The kaoline was applied with sprayer to get the specific ESDD and NSDD value, then the specimen was dried and installed horizontally. And to measure the leakage current and the ambient condition, such as relative humidity and temperature, a DAS system was developed with LabView. From the result, we could know the influence of contaminated condition. Contaminated area and pattern has a close relationship with the electrical properties of outdoor insulator.
