The present writer conducted this study in order to seek desirable directions to enhance right recognition of aesthetic dental prostheses and maximize the aesthetic effect of dental prostheses, by investigating satisfaction with and recognition of aesthetic prostheses among citizens in Daejeon, the writer carried out a self-administered survey with a questionnaire, reaching the following conclusions. 1. It was revealed that 54.4% of them had previous knowledge of aesthetic prostheses while 45.6% had not, and among people with the knowledge, 20.8% acquired it from the dental clinic interested. 2. It was revealed that 58.9% were not satisfied with their front teeth, and among them 24.8% were discontented with their teeth color most. 3. In general characteristics according to whether or not they have previous knowledge aesthetic prosthesis, among people with the knowledge 58.8% were female while 41.2% were male, showing a statistically significant difference (pM0.002). 4. In terms of levels of satisfaction with aesthetic dental prostheses by age, in the case of dissatisfaction people over 30 were most with 14.1%. 5. In terms of levels of recognition of aesthetic prostheses according to whether or not they have previous knowledge of those, among people with the knowledge, 55.8% reported that aesthetic prostheses are necessary (pM0.000). 6. In terms of levels of recognition of aesthetic prostheses according to whether or not they have aesthetic prostheses, among people with knowledge of the kinds of aesthetic prostheses, 87.2%(pM0.000). It was thought that in order to create accurate recognition of and enhance satisfaction with aesthetic dental prostheses, dental care expenses should be adjusted reasonably and also dentists should perform public relations actively with accurate information and provide related education.
IL-34 can promote osteoclast differentiation and activation, which may contribute to steroid-induced osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH). Animal model was constructed in both BALB/c and IL-34 deficient mice to detect the relative expression of inflammation cytokines. Micro-CT was utilized to reveal the internal structure. In vitro differentiated osteoclast was induced by culturing bone marrow-derived macrophages with IL-34 conditioned medium or M-CSF. The relative expression of pro-inflammation cytokines, osteoclast marker genes, and relevant pathways molecules was detected with quantitative real-time RT-PCR, ELISA, and Western blot. Up-regulated IL-34 expression could be detected in the serum of ONFH patients and femoral heads of ONFH mice. IL-34 deficient mice showed the resistance to ONFH induction with the up-regulated trabecular number, trabecular thickness, bone value fraction, and down-regulated trabecular separation. On the other hand, inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-6, IL-12, IL-2, and IL-17A, showed diminished expression in IL-34 deficient ONFH induced mice. IL-34 alone or works in coordination with M-CSF to promote osteoclastogenesis and activate ERK, STAT3, and non-canonical NF-κB pathways. These data demonstrate that IL-34 can promote the differentiation of osteoclast through ERK, STAT3, and non-canonical NF-κB pathways to aggravate steroid-induced ONFH, and IL-34 can be considered as a treatment target.
Spontaneous blinking as a function of visual activity and environmental condition with 60 healthy Korean young people(M=30, F=30) was estimated. Spontaneous blink rate of male and female was $19.2{\pm}2.0/min$ and $18.7{\pm}2.0/min$, respectively. There was no significant difference of blink rate in both contact lens wearer and non-wearer of female and also by various visual activity between female and male. Spontaneous blink rate was changed in response to changes in levels of visual activity and environmental condition such as windiness, rut not changed by light. In the more intense fixation spontaneous blink rate was lesser, but in the stronger windiness, the rate was higher than that in normal.
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the elderly physical fitness test for elderly people living in urban areas and to evaluate the physical fitness level according to gender and age groups. Methods: The subjects were 180 elderly people aged 65 and over living in urban areas. The elderly people were classified into early old age, middle old age, and advanced old age groups. Five items of the physical fitness test for the elderly (arm curl, chair stand, 2 min step test, back scratch, and chair sit and reach). Results: In analyzing the average of each item by gender and age, a significant difference was found in the results of each item as age increased in all sports, but no difference was observed according to gender except dumbbell lifting. Conclusion: Although the physical fitness level of all ages decreased from early age to late age, the difference in physical fitness according to gender was not significant except the arm curl test. The results of this study can be used as basic data for a new "age-specific exercise program" for the elderly.

Generally, disabled people have a lot of bad health status at low income levels, the need for health care is higher than for non-disabled people. Although the number of persons with disabilities is increasing with each passing year, their medical services and support are still limited and limited. This problem is not so different from approach to medical information. Conventional medical information is usually printed and transmitted to the patient, but visually impaired people have difficulty accessing such printed information. In the case of the visually impaired, there are many cases where it is not possible to read not only the printed letter but also the braille because the acquired incidence is high. Therefore, this paper tried to solve this problem by transmitting the information of medicine by voice using RFID. In addition, ontology was used to select more accurate drug information. Currently, there are drug information sites provided by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. However, since duplicate information is scattered on these sites, the ontology was used to build up the database.
Recently, our society is becoming increasingly enthusiastic to acquire knowledge and quality education. Thus, private houses, schools, public libraries and even subways are becoming places to acquire knowledge. Out of all these places, the library, where people visit most frequently to study, has to be quiet, effective and pleasant in order to provide the most efficient place for maximizing learning performance. Many people use public libraries and the age group of people who visit public libraries are very diverse, which makes it particularly necessary to provide the conditions mentioned above. The purpose of this paper is to measure and analyze the differences of thermal comfort and soundscape of library N, which is located in the quiet woods, and library G, which is located in the city center. The measurement and analysis results will be used to evaluate which library has a more pleasant environment.
In this study, it reviewed about evacuation performance of a specified Office Building. assessment tools is FAST 3.1.7 (Estimation of Flash Over, Estimation of Layer Height Down Flow Time), SIMULEX 32-bit (Estimation of Evacuation Time), JASMINE 3.25d. (Smoke Flow Assessment of a specified time) Result from Fire Scenario # 1, Flash Over is not generated in Compartment. Evacuation Time is estimated 25.2 sec by SIMULEX 32-bit. layer height until this time (25.2 sec) was estimated 2.4 m by FAST 3.1.7. After ignition until this time (25.2 sec), smoke was not release to the a corridor. In consequence, We concluded that people in building are completing the safe evacuation without the damage of smoke. Result from Fire Scenario # 1, Flash Over generated 6 min 33.2 sec in Compartment. Evacuation Time is estimated 1 min 25.5 sec by SIMULEX 32-bit. layer height down flow time is 1 min 40.8 sec by FAST 3.1.7 and 5 min 23 sec by theoretical calculation. Also, total building evacuation time was estimated 2 min 26.6 sec. After ignition until this time (2 min 26.6 sec), smoke released to the a corridor but it amount was few little. Therefore, generated smoke in compartment not effected to the people in buildings.
