  • The current study delves into millennial consumers' attitude toward 'undisclosed ads' and 'disclosed ads' through in-depth interviews. More specifically, this study explores how millennial consumers think of undisclosed ads and celebrity endorsers as well as influencers through interviewing 12 millennial consumers. In addition, this study also deals with millennial consumers' attitude toward disclosed ads and celebrity endorsers as well as influencers. Study results suggest that millennial consumers perceive 'undisclosed ads' as deceiving ads and hold negative attitude toward celebrity endorsers as well as influencers who are involved in 'undisclosed ads'. Interestingly, millennial consumers hold both positive and negative attitude toward 'disclosed ads'. 'Disclosed ads' could be delivered to millennial consumers without any reservation when it is integrated as an entertaining factor into contents. On the other hands, negative feelings could occur when 'disclosed ads' is frequently employed and is forcibly embedded in contents, making millennial consumers feel that it is imperative to watch 'disclosed ads' in order to enjoy free contents. In the discussion section practical implications are provided.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate how the narcissism and materialism of the millennial generation affect the compensatory consumption of luxury products in negative situations and the moderating effect of self-control. This study included 315 millennial males and females living in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0 statistical program. Based on our findings, narcissism and materialism had a statistically significant effect on compensatory consumption under positive situations. However, while materialism had a statistically significant effect on compensatory consumption under negative situations, narcissism did not have a statistically significant effect on compensatory consumption under negative situations. Notably, self-control had a moderating effect in the influence of materialism on compensatory consumption under negative situations; narcissism did not. This study holds academic significance as the concept of compensatory consumption and self-control can be applied to the apparel study. Moreover, this study provides practically significant ideas on compensatory consumption and therefore marketing of luxury brands, based on consumers' characteristics.

For this purpose, this study aimed to derive 17 factors of high-involvement product selection attributes through FGI, and its relationship on repurchase intention after make a variable through PCA. A total of 158 valid questionnaires were used, and IPA, independent sample t-test, regression analysis, and hierarchical controlled regression analysis were performed. The results showed that overall, external and internal selection factors had a positive influence on repurchase intentions, and in particular, appealing to internal and external selection factors in order to promote repurchase intention. Meanwhile, the Millennials were found to have no gender difference. Therefore, the company producing and selling high-involvement products suggests that it is necessary to make a priority effort to secure brand awareness, trust in product producers, store trust, and product self-reputation as components of internal selection factors. It was also concluded that more strategic efforts were needed to focus on and appeal to the characteristics of the Millennial itself rather than to consider gender differences.

The study was conducted in Makassar, Indonesia. Data collection uses a survey with the second-order model approach and regression with control variables. The findings of this study suggest the existence of an inter-relationship between fundamental, rational and psychological aspects. They are inseparable and have a positive and significant influence. • This study aims to understand the effect of millennial transformational leadership (MTL) on organizational performance in Indonesian Fishery startups. The population of this study included select fishery startups in Indonesia based on the data released by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia and Digital Fishery Network. This study used the statistical method of PLS-SEM to analyze the data. The findings show that the MTL has no direct positive relationship with organizational performance; MTL has a direct positive relationship with organizational agility; MTL has a direct positive relationship with IT capability; IT capability has a direct positive relationship with organizational agility; organizational agility has a direct positive relationship with organizational performance in fishery startups in Indonesia during this pandemic era. It is suggested that future researches use covariance-based-structural equation modeling which is able to test the research model's feasibility. Roles of mediating variables in addition to the main variables-for example, organizational agility as a mediating variable on the relationship between MTL and organizational performance - are also suggested to be examined. In spite of the limitations, the model developed is still interesting to investigate and is expected to enhance the literature on transformational leadership.

  • This study is an empirical investigation of the effectiveness of guerrilla-marketing techniques in creating a positive brand image among generation Y (millennial) consumers. Five guerrilla techniques practiced by companies-such as viral marketing (EWOM), stealth marketing, ambush, graffiti, and clickbait ads-were studied, and hypotheses were proposed. This study adopted a quantitative approach and a questionnaire using the non-probability sampling technique was developed to collect data and self-administered to 248 millennial respondents on various university campuses. The data collected were analyzed through structured modeling on AMOS. The findings of this research revealed that guerrilla marketing affects symbolic and experiential brand image. Further, the results revealed that stealth marketing, graffiti, and click bait advertising were found to be influential on both symbolic and experiential brand images. As an exception, the hypotheses for ambush marketing were found to have no significant influence on the brand image (symbolic and experiential). Moreover, ambush technique in campaigns may have a negative impact on the brand image. Conversely, the study found that clickbait ads had a significantly negative influence on experiential brand image. Consequently, the results of this study strengthen past findings and concluded that guerrilla marketing techniques are beneficial communication tools in the limited marketing budgets.
