차세대전력공급네트워크(Micro-grid)의 운용제어앨고리즘 (An Operation and Control Algorithm of Micro-grid)

  • 전력산업의 구조개편과 더불어 분산전원의 배전계통연계운용 및 전력품질이 전력회사의 배전사업자, 구역전기사업자, 전기공급 신뢰도와 밀접한 관계에 있는 산업용 수용가들에게 많은 관심을 불러일으키고 있다. 최근, 이러한 주변정세는 차세대의 배전계통이 다수의 차세대 전력공급네트워크(Micro-grid)들로 구성될 것이라고 하는 예상을 전문가들로부터 제기되기에 이르렀다. 그러나, 제안된 Micro-grid는 몇몇의 분산전원과 전력품질을 보상하는 기기, 그리고 통신제어설비와 부하들로 구성된다는 기본적인 내용에 지나지 않는다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 수용가에 고신뢰 고품질의 전력공급을 가능하게 하는 차세대 전력공급네트워크인 Micro-grid의 Topology와 그 운전제어앨고리즘을 제안한다.

마이크로 채널 내부의 Micro-LIF 측정을 위한 마이크로 레이저 평면빔과 혼합용매의 적용 (Application of Micro-Thin Laser sheet and Mixed Solvent for Micro-LIF Measurement in a Microchannel)

  • One most feasible way to measure the concentration field in the micro-channel is using micro-LIF(Laser Induced Fluorescence) method. However, an accurate concentration field at a given cross plane in a micro-channel has not been successfully achieved so far due to various limitations in the light illumination and fluorescence signal detection. The present study demonstrates a novel method to provide an ultra thin laser sheet beam having five(5) microns thickness by use of a micro focus laser line generator. The laser sheet beam illuminates an exact plane of concentration measurement field to increase the signal to noise ratio and considerably reduce the depth uncertainty. Nile Blue A was used as fluorescent dye for the present LIF measurement. The enhancement of the fluorescent intensity signals was performed by a solvent mixture of water $(95\%)$ and ethanol (EtOH)/methanol (MeOH) $(5\%)$ mixture. To reduce the rms errors resulted from the CCD electronic noise and other sources, an expansion of grid size was attempted from $1\times1$ to 3(3 or 5(5 pixel data windows and the pertinent signal-to-noise level has been noticeably increased accordingly.

A New Detergentless Micro-Emulsion System Using Urushiol as an Enzyme Reaction System

  • Urushiol, a natural monomeric oil, was used to prepare a detergentless micro-emulsion with water and 2-propanol The formation of micro-emulsion was verified by conductivity measurements and dynamic light scattering. The conductivity data showed phase change dynamics, a characteristics of micro-emulsions, and subsequent dynamic light scattering study further confirmed the phenomenon. Average water droplet diameter was 10 nm to 500 nm when the molar ratio of 2-propanol ranged from 0.40 to 0.44 . Earlier studies were performed on toluene and hexane, in which the insoluble substrate in water phase was added to the solvents to be reacted on by enzymes. However, in the present urushiol system, urushiol was used as both solvent and substrate in the laccase polymerization of urushiol. The laccase activity in the system was examined using polymerization of urushiol. The laccase activity in the system was examined using syringaldezine as a substrate, and the activity increased rapidly near the molar ratio of 2-propanol at 0.4, where micro-emulsion started. The activity rose until 0.46 and fell dramatically thereafter. The study of laccase activity in differing mole fractions of 2-propanol showed the existence of an ‘optimal zone’, where the activity of laccase was significantly higher. In order to analyze urushiol polymerization by laccase, a bubble column reactor using a detergentless micro-emulsion system was constructed. Comparative study using other organic solvents systems were conducted and the 2-propanol system was shown to yield the highest polymerization level. The study of laccase activity at a differing mole fraction of 2-propanol showed the existence of an ‘optimal zone’ where the activity was significantly higher. Also, 3,000 cP viscosity was achieved in actual urushi processing, using only 1/100 level of laccase present in urushi.

Experimental study of welding effect on grade S690Q high strength steel butt joint

  • This study experimentally reveals the influence of welding on grade S690Q high strength steel (HSS) butt joints from both micro and macro levels. Total eight butt joints, taking plate thickness and welding heat input as principal factors, were welded by shielded metal arc welding. In micro level, the microstructure transformations of the coarse grain heat affected zone (CGHAZ), the fine grain heat affected zone (FGHAZ) and the tempering zone occurred during welding were observed under light optical microscopy, and the corresponding mechanical performance of those areas were explored by micro-hardness tests. In macro level, standard tensile tests were conducted to investigate the impacts of welding on tensile behaviour of S690Q HSS butt joints. The test results showed that the main microstructure of S690Q HSS before welding was tempered martensite. After welding, the original microstructure was transformed to granular bainite in the CGHAZ, and to ferrite and cementite in the FGHAZ. For the tempering zone, some temper martensite decomposed to ferrite. The performed micro-hardness tests revealed that an obvious "soft layer" occurred in HAZ, and the HAZ size increased as the heat input increased. However, under the same level of heat input, the HAZ size decreased as the plate thickness increased. Subsequent coupon tensile tests found that all joints eventually failed within the HAZ with reduced tensile strength when compared with the base material. Similar to the size of the HAZ, the reduction of tensile strength increased as the welding heat input increased but decreased as the thickness of the plate increased.

  • To reduce acoustic noise level of an AV projector, primary noise sources of AV projector were analyzed. Based on the analyzed result, methods to control each source are presented and tried. Structure-borne noise can be controlled by anti vibration design of mounting system, and air-borne noise by reducing flow resisitvity.

  • This paper reports on the measurement of angle between micro mirror and substrate in. the Micro Optical Cross Connect(MOXC). MOXC consists of beam collimators and $N{\times}N$ micro mirrors that are fabricated by using MEMS technology. Using subpixel level image processing, it is possible to measure the angle with the resolution of 0.27$^{\circ}$.

Application of OMA on the bench-scale earthquake simulator using micro tremor data

  • In this study was investigated of possibility using the recorded micro tremor data on ground level as ambient vibration input excitation data for investigation and application Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) on the bench-scale earthquake simulator (The Quanser Shake Table) for model steel structures. As known OMA methods (such as EFDD, SSI and so on) are supposed to deal with the ambient responses. For this purpose, analytical and experimental modal analysis of a model steel structure for dynamic characteristics was evaluated. 3D Finite element model of the building was evaluated for the model steel structure based on the design drawing. Ambient excitation was provided by shake table from the recorded micro tremor ambient vibration data on ground level. Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition is used for the output only modal identification. From this study, best correlation is found between mode shapes. Natural frequencies and analytical frequencies in average (only) 2.8% are differences.

  • 임베디드 시스템은 범용 컴퓨팅 시스템과 달리 자신을 포함하고 있는 기기에 부과된 특정 목적의 컴퓨팅 작업만을 수행한다. 이 시스템을 제어하기 위해서 운영체제가 필요로 하며, 임베디드 환경에서는 신뢰성과 정확성을 요하는 부분이 많기 때문에 실시간 운영체제를 필요로 한다. Real-Time kernel을 기반으로 하는 MicroC/OS-II는 수많은 용도로 사용되고 있지만 task 사용에 한계가 있다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 스케줄링은 task의 생성 수를 늘려주지만, 이 경우 task간의 우선순위 설정이 어려워진다. 이 문제 해결을 위해서 task들의 우선순위 결정은 deadline을 이용하여 3레벨로 나눈다. 3레벨로 나누어지면 task의 수가 증가해도 개발자는 task들을 레벨에 맞게 설정하면 task 관리로 인하여 생기는 문제를 줄일 수 있으며, 효율적인 스케줄링을 가능하게 한다.

자바 스레드와 네트워크 자원을 이용한 병렬처리 (Thread-Level Parallelism using Java Thread and Network Resources)

  • 본 논문에서는 초소형 정밀 마이크로 흐름센서를 설계하기 위해 Java 멀티스레드를 이용한 병렬 프로그래밍 기법을 도입하여 센서 모듈의 성능 분석과 개선이 가능한 병렬처리형 설계 툴을 개발하였다. 연산에 따른 기본 성능을 측정하기 위하여 열운송 방정식에 지배되는 포텐셜 문제를 두 개의 실험모델로 나누어 실험을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 네트워크 PC의 수를 증가시키면 이와 비례하는 속도향상 특성이 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안하는 병렬화 방안은 대규모 연산모델에도 적용 가능함을 확인하였다.

스텝핑 모터 특성에 따른 2축 짐발 안테나 시스템의 미소진동 측정 시험 (Micro-vibration Test on a Two-axis Gimbal Antenna System with Stepping Motors)

  • A 2-axis gimbal system is one of main disturbance sources affecting image jitter response of a satellite. The gimbal system comprises azimuth stage and elevation stage, and these pointing mechanism can be rotated by stepping motors about its azimuth and elevation axes simultaneously. Because of the complex and coupled dynamic motion of the gimbal system, its moment of inertia and structural modes can be changed according to the system configuration, and thus the gimbal system generates complicated and non-linear disturbance characteristics. In order to improve the jitter response of a spacecraft, it is an indispensable process to reduce the micro-vibration disturbance level of the antenna system. In the present research, a 2-axis gimbal system was manufactured and then its micro-vibration test was performed in terms of two types of stepping motors(2-phase and 5-phase). The test results show that the disturbance level of the gimbal system can be reduced by replacing the 2-phase stepping motor with the 5-phase one, and the average disturbance attenuation ratio is 56 % in peak level and 48 % in standard deviation level. The experimental results confirm that it is an efficient jitter reduction method to adopt a high-phase stepping motor.
