  • Stud attachment는 overdenture와 overlay partial denture에 이용되며 임상술식 및 기공과정이 간편하며 가격이 저렴하여 많이 이용되고 있다. 여기에서는 Stud attachment(대한치과의사협회지 1993년 7-8월호)에 이어서 최근에 개발됐거나 우리가 임상에 응용하기에 적합하다고 생각되는 Micro-Fix, Dalbo-B, Dalbo-Rotex attachment에 관하여 설명하고자 한다.

척추극돌간 미세움직임 재현 보형물의 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation for the Micro-Movement Structure of Interspinous)

  • Existing orthopedic implants such as pedicle screw and spinal cage were designed to fix the spinal structure. But, nowadays, physicians want to rehabilitate there original functions. To achieve this request, we studied micro-movable structure for interspinous. As a first step, we designed interspinous structure by 3D CAD to join each spinous processes. Next, we simulate it with various factors such as the thickness of micro-movement structure and the design of clip. At last, we performed static compressive test to satisfy the failure load of 339N and dynamic endurance test of 1.2M cycle. As a result, we developed interspinous implant and did several surgery to evaluated its satisfaction.

  • Micro fuel cells have high reliability and long usage time. Among them, PEMFC (polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell) is suitable as a portable power source because it is easy to fix electrolyte and simple structure. The bipolar plate, a key component of the fuel cell, is produced by cutting. In the case of micro fuel cell separator, burr is very small and the flow channel size in the separator is very small. Therefore, it is difficult to remove burrs in the usual way such as a brushing or ultra-sonic method. Therefore, this study proposed electrolytic polishing process and analyzed the characteristics of each condition by introducing the concept of roughness reduction rate. In addition, the ultrasonic process was added to analyze the effect of ultrasonic addition.

  • There is a great demand to manipulate biological cell autonomously since biologist should spend much time to obtain skillful manipulation techniques. For this purpose, we propose a cell chip to control, carry, fix and locate the cell. In this paper, we focus on the cell rotator to rotate individual biological cell based on a micro fluidics technology. The cell rotator consists of injection hole and rotation well to rotate a biological cell properly. Under the variation of flow rate in injection hole, the angular velocity of a biological cell is evaluated to find the feasibility of the proposed rotation method. As a practical experiment, Zebrafish egg is employed. Based on this research, we find the possibility of non-contact rotation way that can highly reduce the damage of the biological cell during manipulation. To realize an autonomous biological cell manipulation, a cell chip with manipulation well and micro channel in this research will be utilized effectively in near future.

RF모듈을 이용한 자동차 ECU 센서신호의 원격계측 (Remote Measurement for Automobile′s ECU Sensor Signals Using RF modules)

  • In this paper, we present a remote measurement system for the wireless monitoring of ECU Sensor Signals of vehicle. In order to measure the ECU sensor signals, the interface circuit is designed to communicate ECU and designed terminal wirelessly according to the ISO, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. A micro-controller 80C196KC is used for communicating ECU sensor signals. ECU sensor signals are transmitted to the RF-wireless terminal that was developed using the micro controller 80386EX. LCD, and RF-module. 80386EX software is programmed to monitor the ECU sensor signals using the Borland C++ compiler in which the half duplex method was used for the RS232 communication. The algorithms for measuring the ECU sensor signals are verified to monitor ECU state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed monitoring software. The possibility for remote measurement of ECU sensor signals using 80386EX is also verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

Enhanced Cell Growth of Chlorella sp. KR-l by the Addition of Iron and EDTA

  • The effects of iron and EDTA on the growth of Chlorella sp. KR-1, a highly$CO_2$tolerant fresh water micro alga, have been determined. The algal growth was significantly affected not only by iron concentrations in the medium but by the ratio of iron to EDTA. The linear growth rate and the final cell concentration are increased with the supplementation of EDTA. Enhanced growth of Chlorella sp. KR-1 by the supplementation of EDTA was mainly due to the fact that the supply of iron to the algal culture had been possible for a longer time. When Chlorella sp. KR-1 is cultured in the medium of iron-15H-EDTA, the linear growth rate and the final cell concentration are at their maximum, 0.88 g/l${\cdot}$day and 9.1 g/l, respectively. The results show that Chlorella sp. KR-1 may be used for mass cultivation to fix$CO_2$from stack gases.

필렛효과에 따른 미세혈관 문합커플러(AnaFix®) 마이크로핀의 응력분포 (Stress Distribution in Microvascular Anastomotic Coupler (AnaFix®) Micropins with Respect to the Fillet Radius)

  • 기존 봉합사를 이용한 미세혈관수술의 단점을 개선한 기계식 미세혈관 문합시스템은 크게 문합링-핀 시스템 및 디바이스로 구분된다. 유한요소해석을 이용한 본 연구에서 문합링파트는 생체적합성과 사출성형 가공성이 우수한 High Density Polyethylene(HDPE)가 적용되었고, 마이크로핀은 SUS316, Ti-6Al-4Nb, Ti-6Al-4V, unalloyed titanium 이상 4가지 재료가 적용되었다. 미세혈관 문합링 마이크로핀의 fillet radius, neck length가 von Mises stress 변화에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 Short Neck(SN)과 Long Neck(LN)으로 구분하고, 필렛이 존재하지 않는 경우(SN-1, LN-1)와 존재하는 경우(SN-2, SN-3, LN-2, LN-3)로 구분하였다. 필렛 유무와 형상에 대한 von Mises stress의 변화비인 Fillet Radius Rate(FRR)와 동일 필렛형상 내에서 neck 길이변화에 따른 von Mises stress의 변화비인 Neck Length Rate(NLR)의 결과를 종합해본 결과 SN-3의 마이크로핀 neck 형상이 가장 안전한 설계 형상임을 파악할 수 있었다.
