뎁스카메라와 YOLOAddSeg 알고리즘을 이용한 방사선치료환자 미세동작인식 및 실시간 위치보정기술 개발 (Development of Motion Recognition and Real-time Positioning Technology for Radiotherapy Patients Using Depth Camera and YOLOAddSeg Algorithm)

  • The development of AI systems for radiation therapy is important to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and safety of cancer treatment. The current system has the disadvantage of monitoring patients using CCTV, which can cause errors and mistakes in the treatment process, which can lead to misalignment of radiation. Developed the PMRP system, an AI automation system that uses depth cameras to measure patient's fine movements, segment patient's body into parts, align Z values of depth cameras with Z values, and transmit measured feedback to positioning devices in real time, monitoring errors and treatments. The need for such a system began because the CCTV visual monitoring system could not detect fine movements, Z-direction movements, and body part movements, hindering improvement of radiation therapy performance and increasing the risk of side effects in normal tissues. This study could provide the development of a field of radiotherapy that lags in many parts of the world, along with the economic and social importance of developing an independent platform for radiotherapy devices. This study verified its effectiveness and efficiency with data through phantom experiments, and future studies aim to help improve treatment performance by improving the posture correction mechanism and correcting left and right up and down movements in real time.

  • This paper presents experimental results to know the charcteristics of machined surface due to cutter runout. Cutter runout is a common but undesirable phenomenon in multi-tooth machining such as end-milling process because it introduces variable chip loading to insert which results in a accelerated tool wear, amplification of force variation and hence enargement vibration amplitude. To develop in-proess cutter runout compensation system, set-up the micro-positoning mechanism which is based on piezoelectric translator embeded in the work holder to manipulate the depth of cut in real-time. And feasibility test of system was done under the various experimental cutting conditions. This results provide lots of information to build-up the precision machining technology.

  • 최근 디지털 정보 처리 기술의 획기적인 발전과 함께 저가의 반도체 레이저의 개발로 말미암아 광기록 장치(optical pickup device) 및 고속 광통신(optical fiber communication)분야에 응용을 위한 레이저 광학 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 광신호의 커플링(coupling) 및 스위칭(switching)을 기반으로 하는 이러한 광학 시스템은 일반적으로 광신호의 변조를 위한 광학 요소와 광학 요소의 공간적 제어를 위한 정밀 구동기로 구성되는데, 기존의 상용 시스템의 경우에는 독립적으로 기 제작된 광학 요소와 정밀 구동기를 사후에 조립하는 방법으로 소기의 목적을 달성하였다. 이와 같은 경우 제작에 많은 노력과 비용이 요구되며, 성능의 획기적인 향상을 기대하기 어려우므로 최근에는 Optical MEMS 혹은 MOEMS(Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical System)로 대변되는 마이크로머시닝기술(micromachining technology)을 이용한 초정밀 광학계의 제작 기술을 통하여 기존 시스템의 한계를 극복하고자 하는 노력이 다각도로 모색되고 있다.   • Radio occultation (RO) technique has been used in planetary science since 1960s. When signal goes through atmosphere, it is refracted due to the gradient of atmospheric refractivity. In 1995, the first low earth orbit (LEO) satellite, MicroLab-1, was launched to conduct RO mission. It receives the signal from global positioning system (GPS) satellites. After MicroLab-1, other RO missions, such as CHAMP, SAC-C, and GRACE, are executed in several years later. In 2006, Taiwan launched six LEO satellites for RO mission. The mission name is Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere and Climate (COSMIC). Under some abnormal situations, multipath and strong fluctuation in phase and amplitude of the signal appear in moist troposphere. Therefore, open loop (OL) technique has been applied to replace traditional phase lock loop (PLL) technique. In this paper, we will summarize the retrieval processing procedure and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of OL technique.

  • As consumer in optics, electronics, aerospace and electronics industry grow, the demand for ultra precision aspherical surface lens increases higher. To enhance the precision and productivity of ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens, the following specification of ultra precision grinding system is required: the highest rotational speed of the grinder is 100,000rpm and its turning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$, positioning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$. The development process of the grinding system for the ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens for optoelectronics industry is introduced. In the work reported in this paper, an intelligent grinding system for ultra precision aspherical surface machining was designed by considering the factors affecting the surface roughness and profiles accuracy. An aerostatic form was adopted to build the spindle of the workpiece and the spindle of grinder and ultra precision LM guide way was adopted in this system.

  • 유헬스는 정보통신기술과 생체의료기술을 융합하여 사용자에게 시간 및 공간적 제약이 없이 건강관리 및 의료 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 의사가 사용자의 건강상태를 원격으로 진단하기 위해서는 유헬스 기기의 생체신호 측정 기술과 측정된 생체 신호를 전송하는 통신 기술이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 심전도측정센서, 영상모듈, GPS모듈, 통신모듈 및 MCU(Micro Controller Unit)를 이용하여 사람의 생체신호 중 심전도신호를 측정하여 영상 및 사용자의 위치정보를 무선으로 전송하는 생체신호 모니터링 시스템을 구현하는 과정을 소개한다.

Micro-block Stacking 방법으로 제작한 집적형 Triplexer 제작 및 특성 측정 (Fabrication of the Integrated Triplexer Using Micro Block Stacking Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 정밀 세라믹 부품을 이용한 MBS(Micro-Block Stacking) 방법으로 1550 nm 파장의 아날로그 신호 수신과 1310nm/1490nm 파장의 디지털 신호 송, 수신이 가능한 8 pin mini DIL 형태의 집적형 Triplexer를 제작하였다. 제작된 전체 어셈블리는 $5.40mm{\times}2.15mm{\times}1.05mm$ 크기로 통신용 광모듈 국제 표준인 MSA(Multi Source Agreement) 규격의 SFP(Small Form Pluggable) 광모듈 제작이 가능하다. 자동 능동 광정렬 장비를 사용하여 제작된 집적형 Triplexer를 단일모드 광섬유에 광정렬하였을 때, 1310 nm 송신부 최대 광출력이 -14.5 dBm이었고, 송신부에 의하여 위치가 자동 정렬된 1550 nm와 1490 nm 수신부 수신감도는 각각 0.83 A/W, 0.73 A/W로 단거리 통신에 적용 가능한 값을 얻었다.

PSD와 구면반사를 이용한 3자유도 미소 변위의 정밀측정 (Precision Displacement Measurement of Three-DOF Micro Motions Using Position Sensitive Detector and Spherical Reflector)

  • A precision displacement measurement system of 3-DOF micro motions is proposed in this paper. The measurement system is composed of two diode lasers, two quadratic PSDs, two beam splitters and a sphere whose surface is highly reflective. In this measurement system, the sphere reflector is mounted on the platform of positioning devices whose 3-DOF translational motions are to be measured, and the sensitive areas of two PSDs are oriented toward the center point of the sphere reflector. Each laser beam emitted from two diode laser sources is reflected at the surface of sphere and arrives at two PSDs. Each PSD serves as a 2-dimensional sensor, providing the information on the 3-dimensional position of the sphere. In this paper, we model the relationship between the outputs of two PSDs and 3-DOF translational motions of the sphere mounted on the object. Based on a deduced measurement model, we perform measurement simulation and evaluate the performance of the proposed measurement system: linearity, sensitivity, and measurement error. The simulation results show that the proposed measurement system can be valid means of precision displacement measurement of 3-dimensional micro motions.

  • The world, coming into the 21st century, is preparing a new revolution called a knowledge-based society after the industrial society. The interest of the world is concentrated on information technology, nano-technology and biotechnology. In particular, the nano-technology of which study was originally started from an alternative for overcoming semiconductor micro-technology. It can be applied to most industry subject such as electronics, information and communication, machinery, chemistry, bioengineering, energy, etc. They are emerging into the technology that can change civilization of human beings. Specially, ultra precision machining is quickly applied to nano-technology in the field of machinery. Lately, with rapid development of electronics industry and optic industry, there are needs for super precision finishing of various core parts required in such related apparatuses. This paper handles stability of a super precision micro cutting machine that is a core unit of such a super precision finisher, and analyzes the results depending on the hinge type and material change, using FEM analysis. By reviewing the stability, it is possible to achieve the effect of basic data collection for unit control and to reduce trials and errors in unit design and manufacturing.

Development of a Prototype of Guidance System for Rice-transplanter

  • Purpose: It is not easy to drive a rice-transplanter avoiding underlapped or overlapped transplanting in paddy fields. An automated guidance system for the riding-type rice-transplanter would be necessary to operate the rice-transplanter autonomously or to assist the beginning drivers as a driving aid. Methods: A prototype of guidance system was composed of embedded computers, RTK-GPS, and a power-steering mechanism. Two Kalman filters were adopted to overcome sparse positioning data (1 Hz) from the RTK-GPS. A global Kalman filter estimated the posture of rice-transplanter every one second, and a local Kalman filter calculated the posture from every new estimation of the global Kalman filter with an interval of 200 ms. A PID controller was applied to the row-following mode control. A control method of U-turning mode was developed as well. A stepping motor with a reduction gear set was used to rotate the shaft of steering wheel. Results: Test trials for U-turning and row-following modes were done in a paddy field after some parameters have been tuned at the ground speed range of 0.3 ~ 1.2 m/s. The minimum RMS error of offset was 3.13 cm at the ground speed of 0.3 m/s while the maximum RMS error was 13.01 cm at 1.2 m/s. The offset RMS error tended to increase as the ground speed increased. The target point distance, LT also affected the system performance and PID controller parameters should be adjusted on different ground speeds. Conclusions: A target angle-based PID controller plus stationary steering angle controller made it possible for the rice-transplanter to steer autonomously by following a reference line accurately and even on U-turning mode. However, as condition in paddy fields is very complicated, the system should control the ground speed that prevents it from deviating too much due to ditch and slope.
