Five species of red algae were recorded for the first time in Korea: Acrochaetium plumosum (Drew) Smith, Gelidium australe J. Agardh, Gelidium galapagense Taylor, Cryptonemia lactuca (c. Agardh) J. Agardh, and Kallymenia harveyana J. Agardh. Their habitats and morphological characters were described with illustrative figures. Acrochaetium plumosum is characterized by obovoid to clavate cells with thick walls, stellate chloroplasts with a central pyrenoid, mono sporangia that are produced singly or in a: concatenate form of two, and branching secundly and distichously. Gelidium australe is characterized by terete and slightly compressed axes and branches, terete and slightly contorted branchlets, and spatulate to lanceolate forms of tetrasporangial stichidia. Gelidium galapagense is characterized by a thallus composed of stolons and erect foliaceous branches with short digitate branchlets, and palmate forms of tetrasporangial stichidia. Cryptonemia lactuca is characterized by flabellate, subcartilagineous, strongly undulate, di-polychotomously laciniate thalli, with a midrib in the lower portion of the thallus, and tetrasporangia in the cortical layer of the small segments formed on the apical margin of the blade. Kallymenia harveyana is characterized by the gelatinoid and laminate thallus with a very short stipe, with the cortical cells compacted with small granules, and stellate cells in the medulla.

Cyber school community appears to have essentially emerged from the needs for interactive communication, which would not be easy in normal school environments. Message board, chatting rooms and e-mails allow students to connect with each others, share news, find ways to help study, or post personal stories. The purpose of this paper is to give a set of guidelines, based upon the direct observations and questionnaire analysis, for utilizing the cyber school community of elementary school children. The following conclusions are provided; the appropriate ate goal needs to be set before the cyber school community is to be developed; the balance between the off-line and on-line interaction needs to be maintained; actions for motivating students to participate in the cyber community need to be taken by teachers.

These days, by the accelerated developments of science and industries and the menaces of war and terror, humans have come to have instinct to recur and nostalgia to nature and thereby many art works and designs with natural objectives have begun to be produced. Also the design in 21st century requires creative products based on cultural speciality of the countries. As the examples, we may easily find the images of the countries from visual expressions or products when we get in touch with the products of so called advanced countries in design i. e. U.S.A. Japan, Germany, France, Italy, countries of Scandinavian peninsular. This study, in such stream of the times, was to express our culture's own originality on clothing design with butterfly that is one of natural thing as the material but limited the boundary to realistic butterflies in folk drawings of the times of Chosun. As for the technique of expression, used digital textile printing for best expression of the fine lines, realistic shapes and peculiar colors of the butterflies in Chosun folk drawings and used diverse materials as materials for printing for diversity of the designs. Thereby this thesis is purposed to grope the products with superior competitiveness in the world market by presenting the realistic butterflies in Chosun folk drawings as motives with cultural value native to Korea and applying them to clothing designs.

Our understanding of how brown dwarfs form is limited by observational evidence. We report identification of a L328-IRS as a proto-brown dwarf embedded in an isolated dense molecular core. This source exhibits typical properties of a protostar, however, its luminosity (~0.05 $L{\odot}$) is far below than expected from the least massive protostar by the standard star formation theory. The most likely mass accretion rate (~2.4 10-7 $M{\odot}$ yr-1) inferred from its small bipolar outflow is an order of magnitude less than the canonical value for a protostar. The mass available in its envelope is less than 0.1 $M{\odot}$. These points suggest that L328-IRS will accrete the mass of a brown dwarf, but not that of a star. L328 is found to be fairly well isolated from other nearby clouds and seems to be forming three sub-cores simultaneously through a gravitational fragmentation process. Altogether with these, our direct detection of inward motions in L328 which harbors this proto-brown dwarf clearly supports the idea that a brown dwarf forms like a normal star.

The number of SMEs taking up information systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning has been growing rapidly, and many of those organizations have stepped into the stage of ongoing use at this point. Thus, research which takes into account idiosyncratic nature of SME environment is more important than before. Through an empirical study using survey method, we tried to examine the importance of end user's feedback seeking behavior in SMEs and how environmental factors affecting such behavior reinforce and interact with the feedback seeking behavior itself. The result shows that end user's active role as a voluntary feedback seeker is important in utilizing information systems in accordance with the initial design intention in ongoing use environment. Furthermore, in order to facilitate such feedback seeking behavior in SME environment, it is essential that management's involvement and communicating to its employees the importance of effectively utilizing the information systems as well as the support of peer IT champ.

Purpose: This study analyzed the effects of employees' perception of fairness and organizational commitment on productive behavior in firms. In addition, we analyzed how the employment patterns(full-time vs part-time) of employees adjust the relationship of each variable. Methods: In order to carry out the research, we surveyed about 400 people working in domestic large corporations and global corporations and analyzed them empirically Results: According to the empirical analysis, Fairness perception has a positive (+) effect on organizational commitment and productive behavior, and organizational commitment has a positive (+) effect on employee's productive behavior. In particular, the relationship between fairness perception and organizational commitment and productive behavior varies according to the employee's employment pattern(full-time vs part-time). Conclusion: this study is to increase the organizational commitment of employees in the process of organizational socialization, to ensure fairness in procedures, distribution and interactions to drive productive behavior, Suggesting that employees should be provided motivation and welfare benefits without discrimination.

Constructive learning is an active process of meaning construction and students decide their individual learning objectives according to their own interest concern and ability. The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching-learning model and classroom materials from constructivist perspectives and to apply them to an elementary school classroom in Seoul for one month. In this study, it was reorganized the contents of unit of 'beds and fossils' based on the discussion between students and teacher during the second semester of 4th grade class. The teaching-learning model consists of five steps: 1) introduction; 2) exercise; 3) presentation; 4) consensus; and 5) development. The implementation results were summarized.

E-homestudy refers to e-Learning after school. This concept has been introduced by Korean Government as a substitute for expensive private tutoring. The purpose of this research is to explore the perceptions and relationships among determinants affecting the attitude and satisfaction level in e-homestudy. Such factors as subjective norms, visibility, perceived usefulness, quality of contents, facilitating conditions, interactions are introduced into the model. The survey results show that the attitude and the self-directed teaming level influence the satisfaction level in e-homestudy; the subjective norms, visibility, and perceived usefulness are the major determinant affecting the attitude; the quality of contents as well as interactions have positive impact on the perceived usefulness.

Since the 7th educational renovation was established, ICT has emerged as an indispensable tool for teaching a variety of subjects in technical high schools. This paper develops the model for explaining the factors affecting the use of web contents as a mode for studying Electronic subject. Based on data collected from a questionnaire survey from the students who studied the Electronic subject using web contents, a following conclusion is provided: the perceived usefulness, ease of use and the playfulness significantly affect the level of satisfaction, but the design of contents, image, quality, attitude as well as self-efficacy only indirectly affect the satisfaction level. This result might provide the useful guidelines for designing the web-contents for technical high school students.

This study was conducted to propose name and role of a beauty-related specialist, a brand-new profession, recognizing that rapidly evolving culture and industries call for development of a new occupation in beauty business in the 21st century, and to suggest an approach to set up a department to produce such experts. To this end, extensive data and information were collected from relevant companies, education institutions, and all of the eighty two departments at 2-year junior colleges around the country, and were analyzed. The findings of the study are as follows: First, it was acknowledged that a new occupation distinct from existing ones is required in the beauty business. Secondly, the study has defined role of the new job; a professional beauty stylist who is competent to work across beauty, coordination and fashion with long-term perspective. Thirdly, the study suggested name of the brand-new occupation as beauty stylist. The results summarized above have meaningful implications; the study identified weaknesses of the existing beauty-related departments, and suggested practical approaches to improve them in order to provide effective education on the new profession, beauty stylist, and enhance adaptation capability.
