The geodesic equation in a two-dimensional Finsler space is given by the differential equation of the Weierstrass form. In the present paper, we express the differential equations of geodesics in a two-dimensional Finsler space with a generalized Kropina metric.

The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of generalized cone metric spaces over Banach algebras as a generalization of generalized metric spaces and present several fixed point results of a class of contractive mappings in generalized cone metric spaces over Banach algebras. Moreover, in order to support our main results, one example is given at the end of this paper.

In the present paper, we consider the condition that is a geodesic equation on a Finsler space with an (${\alpha},\;{\beta}$)-metric. Next we find the conditions that are equations of geodesic on the Finsler space with an approximate infinite series (${\alpha},\;{\beta}$)-metric.

In the present paper, first we define a Douglas space of the second kind of a Finsler space with an (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-metric. Next we find the conditions that the Finsler space with an (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-metric be a Douglas space of the second kind and the Finsler space with a Matsumoto metric be a Douglas space of the second kind.

In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorem for two nonlinear mappings in complete $\mathcal{M}$-fuzzy metric spaces. Our main results improved versions of several fixed point theorems in complete fuzz metric spaces.

We define a quarter symmetric non-metric connection in a nearly Ken-motsu manifold and we study semi-invariant submanifolds of a nearly Kenmotsu manifold endowed with a quarter symmetric non-metric connection. Moreover, we discuss the integrability of the distributions on semi-invariant submanifolds of a nearly Kenmotsu manifold with a quarter symmetric non-metric connection.

We introduce the proximal point algorithm in a p-uniformly convex metric space. We first introduce the notion of p-resolvent map in a p-uniformly convex metric space as a generalization of the Moreau-Yosida resolvent in a CAT(0)-space, and then we secondly prove the convergence of the proximal point algorithm by the p-resolvent map in a p-uniformly convex metric space.

Kaneko et a1.[4] etc many authors extended with multi-valued maps for the notion of compatible maps in complete metric space. Recently, O'Regan et a1.[5] presented fixed point and homotopy results for compatible single-valued maps on complete metric spaces. In this paper, we will establish some common fixed point theorems using compatible maps in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space.

In this paper, using the notion of generalized metric (or D-metric) due to Dhage [3], we give new definition of M-fuzzy metric spaces and prove a common fixed point theorem for two mappings under the condition of weak compatible and R-weakly commuting mappings in complete M-fuzzy metric spaces.

We define a quarter-symmetric non-metric connection in an almost r-paracontact Riemannian manifold and we consider the submanifolds of an almost r-paracontact Riemannian manifold endowed with a quarter-symmetric non-metric connection. We also obtain the Gauss, Codazzi and Weingarten equations and the curvature tensor for the submanifolds of an almost r-paracontact Riemannian manifold endowed with a quarter-symmetric non-metric connection.
