Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 접착력 증진제 첨가에 따른 은 나노와이어 용액 및 필름의 특성 변화 (Characteristics of Silver Nanow ire Solution and Film Depending on Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Adhesion Promoter Addition)

  • 은 나노와이어 기반 투명전극은 우수한 전도도와 투과도, 유연성을 가지고 있어 ITO 기반의 유연전극을 대체할 수 있는 차세대 유연투명전극으로 각광받고 있다. 그러나 은 나노와이어 기반 투명전극 제작에 사용되는 은 나노와이어 용액에 대한 이해가 부족하여 전자소자 응용 시 소자의 비정상적인 작동이나 전극 필름의 박리 문제가 종종 발생하곤 한다. 본 연구에서는 은 나노와이어 용액에 대한 이해를 높이고자 은 나노와이어 용액에 사용되는 첨가제 중 하나인 hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 접착력 증진제에 대한 연구를 진행하였으며, 접착력 증진제를 첨가함에 따라 은 나노와이어 용액의 특성이 어떻게 변화되고 이러한 용액을 사용하여 제작된 은 나노와이어 필름의 특성이 어떻게 변화되는지 연구하였다. 용액의 특성으로는 극성성분의 표면장력과 분산 성분의 표면장력이 측정되었으며, 필름 특성으로는 표면 에너지와 표면 형상, 은 나노와이어 밀도, 면저항 등이 분석되었다.

Influence of Methylcellulose on Properties of Wheat Gliadin Film Cast from Aqueous Ethanol

  • Present work was focused on the influence of methylcellulose (MC) on steady rheology of wheat gliadin solution and the properties of glycerol plasticized gliadin films. The presence of MC below 0.99 wt% improved viscosity and flow activation energy of the 10 wt% gliadin solution significantly. In the casting films containing 0.2 g glycerol/g dry protein, the MC component aggregated in the gliadin matrix. The blend films containing less than 7.7 wt% MC exhibited higher Young's modulus (E) and tensile strength (${\sigma}_b$) and lower elongation at break (${\epsilon}_b$) in comparison with the pure gliadin film, which was related to the intermolecular interaction between MC and gliadins, the brittle fracture of the aggregated MC component, and the increase in glass transition temperature ($T_g$) of the gliadin phase. Increasing MC content led to a slight increase in water vapor permeability (WVP) without significant influence on the moisture absorption (MA).

바륨 현탁액과 메틸셀룰로스(Methylcellulose)를 사용한 변형 상부위장관조영술 :전통적 바륨조영술과의 비교 (Modified Upper Gastrointestinal Study Using Methylcellulose After Administration of Barium Suspension : Comparison with Conventional Series)

  • For comparison with conventional barium-gastrointestinal study, modified method using barium and methylcellulose was performed in 16 normal dogs (4-8 kg) divided into two groups. The group 1 received 8ml/kg of 40% w/v barium suspension only, and group 2 had taken 15 ml/kg of 0.6% w/v methylcellulose after administration 4 ml/kg of 40% w/v barium suspension by feeding tube. The barium suspension was prepared mixing full strength-barium suspension with water and methylcellulose solution was produced by blending methylcellulose sterilized water Sequential radiographs, lateral and ventrodorsal projections were obtained at 5 minute, 20 minute,40 minute. 60 minute and every 30 minutes thereafter, until the contrast is seen in the large intestine Inage qual- ity was rated by three veterinary radiologists as " poor" " fair ". "good", or "excellent" We analyzed the relationship between image quality,, transit time. Between two techniques, the modified method with 4ml of 40% w/v barium suspension and 15 ml of 0.6% w/v methylcellulose showed much better image quality ["excellent" result in 7 of the 8 subjects (88%)] and shorter transit time (107 minutes) toe the cecum. In addition, the best image quality was obtained at 20 and 40 minutes after admin-istration of contrast agent. It call be concluded the modified gastrointestinal study using methylcel-lulose after administration of barium suspension was a simple technique and easily improved the image quality and diagnostic accuracy of gstrointestinal disorders in small animal.racy of gstrointestinal disorders in small animal.

  • This experiment was carried out to study the toxic effect of solublized methylcellulose (MC). Sprague-Dawley rats were dosed with 1%(w/v) MC in 0.9% saline by gavage at a dose of 10ml/kg b.w/day or by intravenous injection at a dose of 5ml/kg b.w/day for 28 days. Clinical signs were observed once a day. Body weights, water and food consumptions were measured and urinalysis was performed several times during the experiment. Rats were sacrificed on days 3, 7, 15 and 28 for hematology, blood chemistry, organ weights and histopathology. The relative weight of the spleen and foamy cells of the spleen were increased in the gavage group. Body weight gain, food consumptions, the values of RBC, Hb, MCH, Hct, serum proteins, glucose, bilirubin, AST, and ALP were decreased in I.V. treatment group. On the other hand, water consumptions, the values of serum cholesterol, creatinine, and BUN were increased. Microscopic findings were granulomas, distended sinusoids, and hypertrophy of Kupffer cells with vacuoles in the liver. Spleen exhibited granuloma, increased extramedullary hematopoiesis, and congestion. Kidney exhibited foamy cells in the glomeruli, distension of the tubules. The findings appeared more severe when the treatment was extended. In conclusion, MC solution is not a safe vehicle for intravenous administration because of the toxic effects on the liver, kidney and spleen. In addition, a long-term and large dosage of oral administration of MC appears to be unsafe also and needs to be investigated further.

열분석기기를 이용한 메틸셀룰로오스/키토산 블랜드의 상용성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Miscibility of Methylcellulose/Chitosan Blends by Thermogravimetric Analysis and Thermodynamic Mechanical Analysis)

  • Films of methylcellulose(MC), chitosan and their blends were prepared using water and acid solution as a solvent. The transition behavior and miscibility of polymers and their blends were characterized by dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The DMA analysis of PEG400/MC blends has shown that PEG400 was compatible with MC and was effective plasticizer since the curves of $tan{\delta}$ against temperature exhibited single peak, corresponding to single glass transition temperature, which were displaced to lower values with increasing PEG400 content. Results of DMA analysis and TGA analysis of MC/chitosan blends indicate that there are some miscibility between MC and chitosan in the blends, attributed to the similarities between two polysaccharides and interactions of two polymers in the blends. The inclusion of PEG400 in the blends increase the miscibility between two components in the blends.

오메가-3 연질캡슐의 코팅 조건에 따른 장용성 코팅품질에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Coating Treatments on Enteric Coating of the Soft Capsules Containing Omega-3 Fatty Acids)

  • 본 연구는 프탈산히드록시메틸셀룰로오스를 장용성 기제로 이용하여 오메가-3 지방산이 충진된 연질캡슐을 코팅조건에 따른 연질캡슐의 표면에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. HPMCP 농도, 코팅분사 액량 및 흡기 온도를 변화시켜 장용코팅 시 캡슐표면의 백색도를 측정 비교한 결과, 코팅분사 액량이 감소할수록 흡기 온도가 증가할수록 백색도가 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 붕해시험으로 코팅 후 캡슐이 장용 특성을 가지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 주사전자현미경으로 미세구조를 관찰한 결과, 피막에 균일하게 HPMCP가 코팅이 된 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 HPMCP를 이용하여 오메가-3 연질캡슐의 장용코팅 효과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 투명도가 높은 코팅표면을 얻을 수 있는 코팅 조건을 확인할 수 있었다.

Zipeprol 내용액제의 고미교정에 관한 연구 (The Mitigation of Bitterness of Zipeprol Solution)

  • Ziperol, anti-tussive, is considerably bitter. Therefore, it is necessary to mitigate the bitterness in ziperol syrup for children. In this experiment, it was attempted to mitigate the bitterness of zipeprol by means of polymers such as $\beta$-cyclodextrin, arabic gum, HPMC(hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), PEG 2000(polyethyleneglycol 2000), PVP(polyvinylpyrrolidone). Caffeine was used as the reference standard of bitterness. In the result of this experiment, $\beta$-cyclodextrin, would mitigate the bitterness of zipeprol more largely than any other polymers. Arabic gum was the second choice which would mitigate the bitterness of zipeprol.

흰쥐의 혈중 콜레스테롤 및 HDL-콜레스테롤 함량에 미치는 Clotrimazole의 영향에 관한 연구 (Influences of Clotrimazole on the Blood Cholesterol and HDL-Cholesterol level in Rats)

  • Influences of clotrimazole on the blood cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol level were studied in rats. Rats were provided food and water ad libitum and clotrimazole and methylcellulose were gavaged for 6 days. Clotrimazole was suspended in 1% methylcellulose solution as and administered at concentration 20mg/Kg, 40mg/Kg, 60mg/Kg. Body weight gain and liver weight/body weight ratio, serum cholesterol level, serum HDL-cholesterol level, serum triglyceride level, the activity of cytochrome p450 and erythromycin demethylase were determined at 6th day. Clotrimazole decreased the body weight gain a little as compared with control group and did not show any influence on liver weight/body weight ratio. Clotrimazole increased the serum HDL-cholesterol and serum triglyceride level significantly. Clotrimazole increased the microsomal cytochrome P450 significantly and increased the erythromycin demethylase (cytochrome P450 IIIA) significantly too. It might be conclued that clotrimazole showed a little influence on body weight and increased the serum lipid, especially HDL-cholesterol level. It also increased microsomal cytochrome P450 IIIA significantly. It might be concluded that clotrimazole showed a corelative influence between HDL-cholesterol and cytochrome P450 IIIA. In these results clotrimazole can be used as an anti-atherosclerotic agent by increasing the HDL-cholesterol but it is necessary that cloreimazole will show any adverse or side action on body or not.

표면처리반응에 의한 용해속도조절용 Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose의 제조 (Preparation of Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose with Controlled Solubility Rate by Surface Treatment Reaction)

  • 합성 셀룰로오스 에테르류의 일종인 하이드록시프로필 메틸셀루로오스(HPMC)에 40 wt % glyoxal 용액과 $KH_2PO_4$를 혼합, 용해시키고, HPMC의 표면에 분사, 반응시켜 알카리용액에서도 녹는 시간(용해속도)을 조절할 수 있는 표면처리된 HPMC를 제조하였고, 두 물질의 첨가비율을 달리하였을 때 나타나는 용해특성을 규명하였다. 순수한 HPMC류의 표면을 가교제인 glyoxal로 처리하면 중성의 용액에서는 분산을 일으키고, 용액을 알카리화 함으로써 즉시 용해되어 점성을 나타내나, 소량의 안산염을 동시에 첨가 반응시킨 미세분말상태의 HPMC는 용액의 액성에 관계없이 분산이 되고 일정시간 경과한 후에 급속히 용해되어 점성을 나타내게 되는 성질을 알 수 있었다. Glyoxal과 $KH_2PO_4$의 첨가량이 많을수록 용해지연시간이 길게 되었고, 반응은 $75{\sim}85^{\circ}C$에서 60분의 반응조건이 적당하였다. 특시 glyoxal과 $KH_2PO_4$처리에서 유기용매를 사용하지 않고 수용액 상태로 반응시킴으로써 반응후 유기용매의 제거공정이 필요 없게 되었고, 또한 HPMC의 반응 치환도를 변화함으로써 수용액뿐 아니라 유기용제에서도 용해속도를 조절할 수 있는 HPMC를 얻을 수 있었다.

경화액의 농도와 온도가 인산칼슘시멘트의 유변학적 성질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Temperature and Concentration of Setting Solution on the Rheological Properties of Injectable Calcium Phosphate)

  • 인산칼슘시멘트(calcium phosphate cement)는 우수한 생체친화성 및 골전도성을 가지고 있어 골이식재로 많이 사용되어 왔다. 인산칼슘시멘트의 중요한 물성 중 하나인 흐름성은 유변학적 성질을 측정하여 확인할 수 있지만, 인산칼슘시멘트의 유변학적 성질에 관한 연구는 많이 진행되어 있지 않다. 이 실험의 목적은 인산칼슘시멘트를 hydroxyprophyl methylcellulose (HPMC) 수용액 및 polyacrylic acid (PAA) 수용액과 각각 혼합하여 주사용 인산칼슘시멘트를 만들고, 각각의 용액의 농도(35%와 17.5%의 HPMC, 2%와 1%의 PAA)와 온도($25^{\circ}C$ and $37^{\circ}C$)가 유변학적 성질에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위한 것이다. 실험에 사용된 인산칼슘시멘트는 dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD)이며 유변학적 성질은 자동화된 rheometer를 사용하여 측정하였다. 통계분석은 Mann-whitney test를 사용하였다. 높은 농도의 경화액과 혼합된 인산칼슘시멘트는 (35% HPMC와 2% PAA)는 낮은 농도의 경화액과 혼합된 인산칼슘시멘트 (17.5% HPMC와 1% PAA)보다 각각 유의성 있게 높은 점도를 보였다. HPMC 수용액과 혼합된 인산칼슘시멘트는 $37^{\circ}C$에서 $25^{\circ}C$보다 유의성 있게 높은 점도를 보였다. PAA 수용액과 혼합된 인산칼슘시멘트는 $37^{\circ}C$에서 $25^{\circ}C$보다 낮은 점도를 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 또한 실험에 사용된 모든 종류의 인산칼슘시멘트는 의사가소성(pseudoplastic)을 보였다.
